We had the pleasure of trying the four-course lunch menu at Skof, and it was truly exceptional. The meal offered fantastic value for money, with generous portions that left us satisfied without feeling overstuffed, thanks to the light and well-balanced dishes. The service was outstanding, but what stood out most was the relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere. Unlike many overpriced restaurants in Manchester, Skof embraces a casual dress code, allowing guests to feel at ease. The choice of music was also a highlight, perfectly set at a low volume, creating an enjoyable ambiance. We already canāt wait to go again and next time weāll be trying the tasting menu. Well done Tom and the team š

Excellent. The food was delicious, with well considered combinations and beautiful arrangements. There were many memorable dishes on the shorter tasting menu. The cod and the duck stood out for me, but there were other preferences on our table. Everything was very good. The service was superb - pleasant, helpful, apparently relaxed, but highly efficient. The environment was comfortable, but also quite cool - probably about the right size to create a pleasing hum of music and chatter without it being too noisy to talk to other people on the table. It was also an enjoyable addition to the evening to be invited to the chef's table for one of the courses. Could anything have been better? Nothing that matters too much, really. Although the wine, beer and soft drinks pairings included some drinks that I enjoyed so much that I would like to track them down and buy them, others were more 'interesting' than enjoyable, possibly seeking contrast when something more harmonious migh have been more enjoyable? It is not surprising that Skof is booked up for the next few months. We have been to many tasting menu restaurants in England and abroad and this is up there with the very best - for the combination of the food and the enjoyable experience. Skof deserves to be a great success.

Amazing. Had the 16 course taster menu with the wine pairing and it was just fantastic. You get to have one course sat with Tom by the kitchen and he is a genuinely nice, zero ego guy. Wish him the best of luck getting his Michelin star.

We had a fantastic evening at Skof on 28th December. The food and atmosphere were fantastic. The staff are attentive and knowledgable when presenting each dish/wine pairing. The extra touches that make Skof such a memorable experience are brilliant. Well done!

A beautiful meal and great service! A visit for 2 for 3pm on a Saturday, booked a few weeks in advance and a £20 deposit paid. Parked for free at the back near the bakery. Arrived 15 mins early and were seated whilst our table was prepared, the wait for this was only a few minutes. Taken to out table and water preference taken, then a server came over to ask if been before (my broth had) but guided us in how to order, make some recommendations and told us the specials. Really useful advice in regards to quantity of what to order for 2 and was then left to decide what food to order whilst water was poured and other drinks order was taken. We ended up ordering 4 dishes and a side and then a dessert each but we shared all the food. The food was delicious, really tasty and fresh, highlights were the Pelmeni and the spatzle with sage and butter sauce, so good! The staff were very attentive but too much, atmosphere was good as it was busy but not too crowded or rushed. Did order 2 desserts (Panna Cotta and the cinnamon brown sugar butter spatzle) but ate it too quickly before getting a picture! Highly recommend!

Amazing food and great attentive staff. I have been twice now and it has not disappointed any way. The choice on the menu is a fantastic and the food is so good. The staff are so good at what they do and make you feel so welcome and are happy to help you through the menu and the drinks.

I'll start this with how I usually end good ratings. 6 stars. Now we are past that, yes, it does live up to what you have heard. Every aspect of food, service, and atmosphere gets a tick. The food options speak for themselves, but I do believe the ambience they have been able to build and sustain to match the food offering is what will keep them popular for a long time to come. Add this to your must try list and no reservation, no party I'm afraid so get there early!

We were really looking forward to visiting this restaurant, especially since it has a high rating of 4.8 on Google. The starters were a pleasant surpriseāvery good and creative. However, the main courses were a bit of a letdown. The cabbage tasted good, but the core was bitter. Unfortunately, the steak was dry and overcooked, even after we sent it back (we had ordered it medium rare). Overall, we wanted to give this place a higher rating because it seemed like a hidden gem, especially for the price. Weāll need to come back another time to see if it was just an off night.

From the moment we walked in the door, we felt very welcomed by the staff and ambience! Definitely suggesting sitting at the kitchen bar if you would like to chat with some great chefs. The scallop and tomatoes were a standout for us, unreal. The wine list was really approachable with some good natural gems. Every dish was explained perfectly, and having chefs drop dishes was a great touch. Chef Max made the experience one of the best we've had in England with some great conversation. We will be definetly be back and spread the word!

Arrived during lunch hour and it was no problem to have lunch without a reservation. Very friendly and professional staff. The have a nice selection of wine by the glass and the bottle selection is also really good. Foodwise I can say that every dish had wonderfully balanced ingredients of high quality. Some of the dishes (artichoke and cabbage with mussels) were magnificent. A must visit when you want wine and dine on a high level in Manchester.

For only a small restaurant this place packs a punch. They made my partners 40th such a special experience and looked after us so well. With gorgeous seasonal food that is so intricately put together I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

The food was lovely especially lamb dishes in tapas section, so delicious and succulent and paella was really good. The cocktails were amazing too, I could actually taste alcohol. The staffs are friendly and I appreciate how smiley they were, makes you feel welcomed. They even gave us complimentary shots of Limoncello at the end. Overall nice place, amazing service and good food. If you eat meat, make sure you order cordero en salsa. Will definitely come back again.

Beautiful meal from start to finish. The team always put us in the more relaxed heated outside area when we have the kids, perfect for not disturbing other diners. Staff couldnāt do enough. Free lollipops at the end of the evening for the kids that eat all their dinnerā¦always a winner! As always, we will be back food was quick, hot and tasty.

Always fantastic service at Turtle Bay. The use of a free £20 birthday gift by having their app is great and can be used on absolutely anything! Food is always piping hot, fresh and flavoursome. If you don't quite know what to try, I recommend the Mixed Sharer (a few pounds more than a main meal) to taste a bit of what's on offer.

Had such a a great time at Turtle Bay for birthday drinks on Friday! The vibe was spot on, cocktails were banging, and the food was perfect for light bites, would definitely recommend the mac n cheese!! Big shoutout to Jamesāproper sound guy, super friendly, and made sure our drinks landed fast. Definitely coming back for more good vibes, great food, and top-tier cocktails.

Good menu and really good food. Tried this place on a Friday evening for some Caribbean cuisine and it was worth it. This place was packed and buzzing!!! Ensure you have a reservation, especially on weekends. Lovely Bar with all sorts of options. ps: they also have a game room. You might need to wait a bit longer than usual for your food.

Very cool experience, would definitely recommend trying at least once. We went for the Tokyo experience for my birthday, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The courses come in a timely fashion, so you're never waiting for too long. We were skeptical on if we would be full after seeing how small the dishes were, but we were definitely full afterwards! All the food was amazing, and nothing like we've had before. The kimchi pancake and dessert were my absolute favourite! Service and atmosphere are great, our waitress explained every dish before serving. Price isn't too bad considering the quality of food.

What great food! The taste was incredible, service was fantastic and the pairing wines were a really great addition. If you're after something a little different for a date night I'd thoroughly recommend. Only slight niggle with this is I'd say the portion sizes aren't huge, so you won't leave feeling absolutely full, but still overall a great experience!

Iāve been there a few times, the food are always amazing. But thatās the first time I had their Sunday Roast. We ordered, wagyu rump, lamb shoulder, pork belly set. All are amazing! The only downside might be we were sitting nearby the entrance and it was quite cold when the door opened and cold wind blew in.
Rating: 4 / 5
Overall a very good spot for a brunch. We choose the bottomless drinks and 3 dishes. Our favorite was the mushroom sandwich, amazing taste explosion. We also had the crispy pork belly that was good but lacked a bit of taste on the pork belly itself, dish as whole complemented that. We also had the lamb shoulder, not as good as I would hope it to be. The salad to the lamb shoulder was although really good. Personnel was very kind and had a high service mind. A bit to expensive for the quality

Came for a Sunday roast and was a 10/10 experience. The staff were so lovely and welcoming from the second we arrived, our waitress was so attentive. I had specific dietary requirements and they were taken so seriously by the staff, I felt so reassured. The food was so delicious as well. Loved it.

Best Sunday Roast weāve had in Manchester!! Came here for my partners birthday and the food did not disappoint! Lovely soup for starter, and a delicious roast dinner. The portion size was perfect! Amazing service, they gave my partner a complementary Prosecco for his birthday which was a lovely touch. Will definitely go again!

Found this place purely by accident walking the dog a week before. Really friendly staff, even better they are dog friendly. On going into restaurant, only thought that had one floor, we were taken downstairs, which was really nicely laid out. Great food will definitely return.

The staff went above and beyond to help me throw a surprise engagement meal for my friends. Was very grateful to them for all their help. Topped off with a celebratory congratulations in chocolate for dessert. And the food was gorgeous. Will definitely return!

OMG this place is unreal. Partner booked for my birthday and Iām dying to go back already. Service was great, sometimes restaurants rush us through courses and itās not nice but we could go at a leisurely pace. Raspberry mulled wine was delicious and the food was the star of the show. Not. One. Single. Complaint. Perfectly seasoned, meat was tender, so tasty. We had the olives and halloumi to start and I had the lamb supreme with Greek salad on the side, my partner had the sirloin and he said it isnāt often he gets a steak cooked to perfection AND seasoned well. Prices very reasonable as well Thank you to the staff at Pupa for making my birthday super special and we canāt wait to come back!

Honestly blew my expectations out of the water. Nice little setting with a good vibe (not many tables so make a reservation if a weekend). The food really was fantastic and the meat was grilled to perfection. The only question is what I will get next time I come. 6 stars.

Great little restaurant/bistro. We had the autumn bistro menu at lunchtime and it was excellent. Some really nice autumnal flavours and decent portions too. We were going for the three courses for £20 but didn't have room for pud. I'm blaming the truffle fries we had as an extra! We'll be back for pud next time.

We attended this restaurant for the lunch menu special which is a really good deal. Itās Ā£15 for two courses and Ā£20 for three courses. Would it be an early lunch time we arrived? The restaurant was not very busy. The lady who was serving us was absolutely lovely though very friendly and very attentive. Itās probably not the best place to go if you are vegetarian as there is only one option for the mains. There is the option of the more expensive menu which we were not inclined to pay for lunchtime treat. Quality of the food was incredible. It was all very fresh locally. I would happily recommend this restaurant to anybody else.

Visited this place cause it was the only restaurant in Curry Mile having 10k+ ratings. We had the mutton curry with naan which was good and worth the price. But the Malai Chicken Tikka was not at all worth the price. It was a scam. The number of pieces they gave for the price was too less. Nevertheless, the overall experience was nice and the waiters were helpful. Would recommend it.
