I’ve been working as a Secondary English Tutor at The Tutor Trust for nearly a year and it has been such a rewarding role. As a student, the excellent pay and flexible hours were perfect for my hectic schedule during the final year of my university studies. Helping underprivileged children build their confidence in English and Maths is just brilliant to see, and great to be a part of. My daughter has been attending Chorlton Tuition Centre for the past 18 months. She had a lot of gaps in her learning following the pandemic/ lockdown and had lost a lot of confidence. Weekly tuition has really helped my daughter to catch up, and her confidence has grown. Charlotte is so lovely and patient, and my daughter really enjoys the sessions (she previously would do anything to avoid school work). My daughter has been tutored by Good success since age 8 for 11plus , she passed with flying colours and got admission to Loreto Grammar school. And then continued her tutorials through high school until GCSE again passed with several A* and then for A levels and UCAT . I am very pleased to say this is the final journey and she has passed and got admission to study medicine at the university of Newcastle. The Support has been extremely great each step of the way . Choice Home Tutoring really made the difference as the tutors helped my son pass the 11+ exam and the entrance exam for Manchester Grammar School. My son was tutored by Christopher leading to him securing a place at his first choice of Grammar School. I saw a really significant improvement in my son's confidence and knowledge. His creative writing skills came on leaps and bounds after attending the creative writing workshop. We first approached Christopher in February/March this year. After an initial assessment, our daughter commenced weekly lessons with one of the tutors (Jeremy). Jeremy was very approachable, friendly and our daughter got on very well with him from the outset. Jeremy was very good at explaining things and when my daughter was uncertain, she never felt uncomfortable telling him that she did not understand. Jeremy provided lots of papers to assist my daughter in preparing for the 11 plus and even she has said that the mock test (arranged by them) was helpful as she definitely felt less nervous about the actual exam. We received our daughters results yesterday and we’re so pleased that she had passed and not only did she get the required score for the school we had hoped, she also gained a enough to be considered by Altrincham Grammar. Christopher has been tutoring our son for the last 18 months or so. He has such an amazing rapport with kids. He encouraged and supported our son, inspiring him and boosting his confidence. Our son successfully secured an out of catchment place at AGSB and was also awarded an academic scholarship at a fantastic independent school. There aren’t enough compliments for Rifat and her exceptional teaching skills. Her patience, perseverance and her obvious passion for teaching have transformed our son. One of the best experiences I have had in finding experience for getting in to medicine. Felt like every single doctor had a genuine desire to help and educate the students without making the process sound stressful and daunting. Dr Beth Clayton, Dr Cameron and Dr Dan were all very informative and answered every question thoroughly leaving me fully satisfied with the answers.

I found the session that I had to be really engaging and styled to replicate the format of interview for the medical school I was interviewing at. I had a session with Ishita from the Mastermedprep team and found that she provided comprehensive feedback about my performance, highlighting what I did well in each of my stations but also providing constructive criticism to develop my answer further which was helpful for my live interviews.
