Richard & Lewis built a large two story extension for me and undertook a full-house refurbishment including plumbing, re-wire, moving walls, plastering and external works. Richard is approachable, easy to deal with, speaks common sense and is able to manage all aspects of the project. He brings the best trades to support the job (the people you don't find easily as they are so good they are booked up - plasterers, electrician, plumbers, joiners, decorators, tilers and more!). Richard managed all these trades and the overall job to the highest standards. I had lots of specific requirements on layout, materials and electrical (including an advanced home automation system) that he not only understood but was enthusiastic about being involved in! I have no hesitation in recommending Richard, our work with him is now continuing into the garden for ground works and terrace building work / retaining walls. Quite simply I wouldn't use anyone else.

Richard and his son Lewis built a single storey extension to our kitchen, which we now use as an open plan kitchen/living room. He is very friendly and approachable. He keeps you up to date with everything, and talks you through different options to make sure you are happy with your choices. He uses a really good team of tradesmen, we were so impressed with the joiner who fitted our new kitchen, plasterers, electrician and plumber. Everything was co-ordinated to happen at the right time. He even found us a painter at the the last minute, who also did an excellent job. Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Richard and his team. He is dependable and trustworthy and is willing to go the extra mile in order to get the job completed to an excellent standard. We are more than happy with the extension and can’t thank him enough for the work he has done.

Richard and his team have just finished out extension and we are both extremely happy on the quality of the overall build project. Going into our first build project was always going to be a daunting experience, but by choosing Tonge Builders from day 1 we were made to feel at ease. Richard and his team (from plumbers, to electricians to joiners) every single one has been trustworthy, experienced and highly skilled in their profession and have done a sterling job. This is the second time Richard has done building work for me. The first time he built an extension onto the back of what was a new build house. The quality of the brick laying put the rest of the house to shame. This time Richard has done some structural work for me, taking out a load bearing wall and fitting the supporting steel. The quality and attention to detail Richard puts into his work is what stands out. That is the reason I would only use him for any work I need and highly recommend Tonge Builders.

Recently had some roof repairs completed by this company. I agree with the rest of the of these reviews. The jobs were carried out and completed sooner than expected, they were polite and respectful, answered any questions I had with regard to the work, paperwork was completed and sent promptly and professionally. Professional, Friendly and Fast. Had some damage in storm Eowyn that made my roof unsafe. BRR turned up within 15 minutes and made it safe. I had put some funds away for a needed new roof and after hearing a quote I signed up. The work was done quickly and to a fantastic standard. I would gladly recommend BRR to anyone.

Really good service from the moment I met James to get the initial quote to completion. (Roof ridge tile repointing work). Everything was explained clearly and relevant quotes / invoices sent over as promised and in a timely manner. James was happy to answer any questions and queries I had. Lads on site did a good job and were friendly and polite. They tidied up after themselves and just got on with the job. We are happy with the work and the service.

Carl and Max, team F, attended today (5.11.24) to carry out an upgrade to my garage. They replaced the asbestos roof, old up and over door and side access door along with the guttering. They arrived on time (despite the M25)! They were very clear in describing what they were going to do and kept me updated throughout the job. They were polite and friendly in their manner and worked diligently to a swift, tidy completion. I was very impressed with the whole experience which is not the usual case nowadays sadly. Firstly Danmarque sent out someone to survey our garage. He priced up everything and told us exactly what they would do. Plus we were told a date for the job. We'd asked for an asbestos roof to be removed. Carl & Max (Team F) came today at 8am. They stripped the roof off in no time. Put new joists across, galvanised steel roof, new fascia boards, guttering, sealed it, lined with condensation felt membrane. Took about 3 and half hrs. Cleaned up after themselves and took away the rubbish. Lovely job. Well pleased.

Today Team F, Carl&Dave arrived to complete the project of replacing my leaking garage roof. The lads explained what work would be carried out and completed all aspects in full to a really high standard. The rain was coming in but the lads cracked on and we're very respectful of our property which goes a long way. They cleaned up after themselves and the work was completed in a few hours. Carl and Max, completed a garage refurbishment 4.10.24 (Leeds). New roof, front facias, guttering and down pipe. They were both punctual and professional in their approach. Carl provided a comprehensive explanation of the job that was due to be undertaken. This was helpful as useful for all parties are clear and precise about the job in hand. All through the job, I was consulted and kept in the loop. It was nice as I felt part of the process from start to finish. They were very orderly and cleaned up after themselves ensuring their was no trace of the asbestos or old remnants of the garage was left. Our sun tunnel was expertly fitted by Shaun within about four hours. The weather was extremely cold and the attic space very restricted. The room went from darkness to light once the job was finished and everything was left neat and tidy .We are therefore delighted with the outcome. Many thanks Shaun and we will call on Lovatts again for any roofing jobs that need doing.

Trustworthy, honest and fast. 3 words to describe. Lucy quickly responded to a quote for some potential damage and arranged an appointment for a few days time. A day earlier, Shaun rang and came early (fantastic), he then listened, inspected thoroughly and while the resulting issue required not further remedy, he was extremely kind and supportive. If I ever need anymore work, I'd easily contact them again.

1st Class Company, I cannot recommend this roofing company enough. From start to finish Lucy put my mind at rest & made the whole job that I was very worried about having done stress free. We had a new slate roof with solar panels and a flat roof section, each part done by a separate teams and coordinated perfectly so the job flowed at all times. The main slate section was completed by Danny & Dale who are very professional and skilled at what they do & a pleasure to have around too. I genuinely cannot thank or recommend everyone who was part of our job from Lovatts enough. Absolutely perfect and our bungalow is shining with its new hat. Thanks

Recently bought a house and we’re ‘enjoying’ all the quirks of home owning. A few weeks ago, we had a leak on our flat roof. We messaged Frank early in the morning, he arrived quickly and diagnosed the problem. He acted promptly and the cause of the leak was fixed. Frank was informative and understanding. There has been no further issues so far. We will definitely be using Raven Roofing & Cladding again!

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Frank to anyone who needs work doing roofwise. He's just done a job on my roof putting ventilation into tiles that are no longer manufactured. He's gone over and above expectations by resolving the problem rather than saying it couldn't be done!!! He did the job from start to finish in less than a week, including the problem solving and making the roof watertight whilst the tiles were being adapted and refired. I'm delighted with the work he's done and will use him again for any future roofing work. In my opinion he doesn't overcharge and he does a proper job rather than a make-do one.

We have recently bought a house and noticed a leak coming through the extended roof. We sought roofers on check a trade and this company got back to us very quickly and assessed our roof within a couple of days. They provided honest feedback and two quotes, one for a repair and new extension considering financial aspects. The previous owners put down additional felt as a temporary measure but some water got into the wood and was springy. We decided to fix the problem with a new roof and waited a few weeks for the parts to arrive. On the day 26/10/24 they worked with precision and were very friendly and communicative, informing us of their progress regularly and fixed things that weren't included in the quote such as clearing our sewage pipe. They provided before and after pictures and we were over the moon. Yesterday on the 8/12/24 we discovered a small leak and contacted them again. They arrived and took pictures of the problem which was the cracked brick and nothing to do with the roof. They fixed this for us anyway. This company are fantastic and we highly recommend them. The prices are reasonable and they are fair. We will be using this company for any other building or roofing work in the future. Thank you.

In the past, we've had issues with finding good roofers in the Bolton area but that's no longer a problem. LBL were brilliant all round. We needed a roof repair and new guttering but the tiles we needed are no longer manufactured. They did everything they could to find the tiles for us but when that wasn't possible, they came back and installed the guttering. The lads did a great job and tidied up after themselves. Communications with the company was easy, efficient and would highly recommend.

Had issues with the roof leaking not long after moving in (sods law!). Luke came out in no time, shot up on the roof and took pictures of everything required. Recommended a dry ridge and verge to ensure things lasted. The lads that came turned up half an hour earlier than the time given and everything was done by 4.30pm with pictures to show the before, during and after. My path was probably cleaner than when they turned up! Felt reassured throughout and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Wouldn't use anybody else. I am not from this Area but am a tradesperson who needed some roofing services in this area and i tried to get in touch with multiple of the other high rated companies but had issue after issue. The other companies would either not turn up when they said they would and just no show or they turned up but didn't actually look at the problem. LBL Roofing actually got on the roof to check the issue and had a thorough look and sent a quote on time, turned up on time. The work was also high quality. Genuinely wouldn't use anybody else in this area now.

Contracted out the services of Phoenix Roofing to replace the lead valley which was leaking on the front side of the house. Very happy with the gentleman's workmanship, professionalism, punctuality and attitude. From getting the quote to actually starting and finishing the job, I am very impressed. Tonny is simply amazing. My roof is a mess but save my life from the mess he just did a trick and saved me atleast £30k. 😀 Not sure how long that fix will last, but when all refused he took that as a challenge, highly recommended for any roofing job.

Called James for a small repair to a gutter. Liam visited, quoted and completed the repair all within 24 hours. He was extremely friendly and professional, and put my mum at ease. We had our roof retiled by Garry and his team. The work was carried with good quality materials producing an excellent finish. The first day they removed the old tiles and felt and put in place new linings, making the roof water proof, then the second day the tiling was completed. Very efficient and competatively priced. It was also carried out safely with a good use of safety equipment. I would be happy to recommend Alco.

Had our roof completely redone by Garry and his team. Including Tiles, Facias, Soffits and underfelt. They did an absolutely fantastic job for a great price. What a competitor quoted as a 2 week job took Alco less than 4 days and for 4k cheaper. I would not go to anyone else as Garry and his team provide the best service around. Could not recommend more highly.

Garry and his team were absolutely fantastic! We had an aging roof (80 years old!) and we needed it replacing. Garry quoted up to replace the roof and porch and the cost came in about the same as a few other places i looked at. Garry was professional and even though we had a few scheduling conflicts at first we managed to get the date sorted and in the space of a couple of days we had a shiny new roof. Not only would i recommend Garry for his workmanship but he also passed the neighbour test as he was able to match the tiles and make the roof look seemless. Its a shame we wont be using Garry again but if any of you out there are reading this give Garry a call and tell him I sent you :)
