After ringing round a couple of roofing companies and getting either very high quotes or complicated solutions for my sun room roof replacement I found Safegaurd and I am so glad I did! I received a quote within 24 hours and was booked in ready for the work to commence within 6 weeks. Absolutely fantastic and competitive price. Dave and Paul turned up on time everyday and completed the job with zero mess. All waste was took to the tip and even floors were brushed. The work was done incredibly quickly and to a high standard. Attention to detail was excellent, for example we didn't want all new bricks so they took old bricks from the side of the house to use on the driveway then used new bricks round the side of the house. This kept the front looking better as it wasn't a mix of bright new and old duller bricks. They gave great advice on how to best achieve our vision (in terms of materials to use etc) and the work looks better for them being involved.

I highly recommend Michael. He explained professionally the issues of the roof and chimney. His quote is very clear, honest, and fair and there’s nothing hidden. He repaired the broken tiles and took all the broken bricks down from the roof and cemented it. He handled it carefully. He also repaired my leaking gutter. After replacing the parts of the gutter, he lifted up the hosepipe to the roof to test the leak of the gutter. I was amazed by his skills and care for people. He then cleaned the site to make sure it’s clean and tidy. I can’t praise him enough. You can truly trust him.

Michael McGowan did an amazing job on my Roof Repair. He was polite and friendly. Michael was also meticulous, patient with attention to detail and knowledgeable as he explained what he was going to do and what he had done. I already had before photos. Photos were then taken during the repairs and on completion. The house is a tall 3 storey Victorian Terrace and the party wall joining the neighbour’s roof front and back with mine, had a disintegrating silver foil held in place with bitumen and several broken tiles including a leaking Bay Window. He managed to remove it all, then replacing any broken slates on the neighbour’s side, placing a hidden bonding join underneath, finally placing my tiles in place and sealing both sides together. He left a very nice and well finished Roof and Bay Window. Any broken tiles were replaced on my side. We did have to wait for the dry weather. Once it came the big job was finished in 3 days. Fair priced. Would use again. Thank you Michael.

Great experience. Had leaks in the roof in 2 places, had a couple of companies round quoting expensive prices without even getting up to look. Lee turned up when he said he would, got up on the roof took video to show me the issues, quoted a fair price. He carried out the repair, and took video to show me what he had done and the finished result. Can't fault him, would definitely recommend.

Phoned Lee in the morning and he arrived half an hour later. Gave a very reasonable quote to repair leaking gutter and did the work there and then. Very efficient and professional. Highly recommend.

Lee came quickly to inspect the problem with my roof. He used a drone so I didn't need to be in for him to diagnose. Sorted scaffolders and did the work quickly with his two sons. Reasonably priced and clear photos/videos of the work he completed. Happy with his work :)

Absolutely fantastic. Lee was the only company that actually took the time to come out and inspect the issue. His colleague assessed the issue quickly, we agreed and price and date for the work to be completed. Reasonably priced, even ended up doing a bit more work than he originally quoted but he didn’t charge any more. Would highly recommend and would use again with issue!

Justin was fast to come out and give a price and work started quick when there was a break in the rain and got the job done all in one day, decent company get what you pay for which is his time served in trade and his knowledge.

Contacted Justin about a leak we were having through our ventilation fan in the bathroom. Stripped back the tiles and fixed the issue which was an unsupported vent. Excellent communication, including informing us when the scaffolding was coming and when he would be there. Offered very good advice, listened to what we had to say, explained everything well and replied promptly to emails.

We recently used Justin to do some remedial roof repairs for us, which he did to a very good standard. He communicated promptly, came round to review the issue within days of us telling him about it and completed the repairs very shortly after that. After many builders either overpricing or just not returning. I contacted Carl at Trafford Roofing regarding a problem with my chimney and flat roof. Carl came to look at the issues really fast, explained what the problem showing me pictures of the damage and how it needed fixing. Within two weeks he had arranged for my chimney and roof to be fixed. On the day, he and his team were excellent. I couldn’t have asked for better. They were timely polite and tidied up after themselves and even offered to get some of the rubbish that was in my garden along with theirs. The work looks great, and they even cleaned my gutters which was a separate ask from the work. Carl followed up with a phone call to ask if I was happy with the work. I couldn’t recommend them enough. He and his team were fantastic.

Carl sent one of his team out, a lad called Dave, to fix a few broken and split tiles from the recent storms. He did a great no nonsense job for me, spent as much time giving me advice as he did replacing the tiles, which was much appreciated. Very professional, clean and carefull. Darren and his team came out and helped us on an emergency call at the crack of dawn and were with us within the hour when we really needed the help. They got on to our roof despite the heavy rain and fixed the issue without any hesitation and at a very reasonable price.
