Young & Co completed a roof replacement for our block of flats. They completed an extensive survey for us and provided us with a specification to suit. Everything was very professional and we were provided with all the proper documentation and certificates during the works and following completion. Staff were friendly, easy to get hold of and were very responsive to emails. It's definitely a weight off my mind knowing the works have been done to a high quality and we have the documentation to support this. Thank you!

After several bad builders over the years it was refreshing to have a professional and quality service from start to finish during a recent roof replacement. Communication was excellent, with the team both on- and off-site keeping us up to date with all works. The schedule given was adhered to, despite difficult and challenging weather. In spite of the challenges, the on-site team headed by Sam always proved to be polite and cheerful, ensuring that quality was not compromised. Cannot praise Dan enough. Had water coming through my roof due to rotten batons and damaged felt. He was so quick to come and look and once the scaffolding had been put up he was super quick to come and repair everything. I’ve now got a watertight roof. Called Danny the day after really strong winds and suffering roof damage and he came out immediately to recover a ridge tile which could have slid off the roof and damaged a vehicle or causing injury to a person - his customer service was impeccable! He then attended at a later date to carry out the repair and inspect the rest of the roof. Faultless work, competitively priced, excellent service and generally Danny and his colleague really great guys - highly recommended for any roofing repairs.

Ashton roofing were professional, straight talking and very helpful, with great customer service. We were in the middle of trying to sell our house, and required a roof inspection to settle some doubt left by a survey. The work done was quick and thorough, with everything put back in its place, resulting in a useful report with much photo evidence to back it up. Later, when the sale fell through and I was in need of their services again and enquired, they made sure to reach out and offer me a work slot before giving it away to a customer who got in contact after me - a very fair minded and considerate business.

Ashton Roofing resurfaced two roofs for us. One a bay window roof might have been regarded as more conventional but they still did an excellent job with plenty of insulation and efficient drainage. The other roof was a perished leaking concrete roof with worn and leaking roofing felt. Dealing with this roof defeated other companies but Ashton Roofing came up with an innovative and elegant solution which has completely transformed the roof. It’s simply superb. It was also at a very competitive price. I cannot recommend enough.

Absolutely fantastic. Lee was the only company that actually took the time to come out and inspect the issue. His colleague assessed the issue quickly, we agreed and price and date for the work to be completed. Reasonably priced, even ended up doing a bit more work than he originally quoted but he didn’t charge any more. Would highly recommend and would use again with issue!

Great experience. Had leaks in the roof in 2 places, had a couple of companies round quoting expensive prices without even getting up to look. Lee turned up when he said he would, got up on the roof took video to show me the issues, quoted a fair price. He carried out the repair, and took video to show me what he had done and the finished result. Can't fault him, would definitely recommend.

Phoned Lee in the morning and he arrived half an hour later. Gave a very reasonable quote to repair leaking gutter and did the work there and then. Very efficient and professional. Highly recommend.

Lee came quickly to inspect the problem with my roof. He used a drone so I didn't need to be in for him to diagnose. Sorted scaffolders and did the work quickly with his two sons. Reasonably priced and clear photos/videos of the work he completed. Happy with his work :)

I cannot recommend Matt, Anthony and the team at AMT roofing highly enough. We've just had a full new main roof, porch and bay roof installed. From initial contact Matt immediately puts you at ease & makes you feel like you are in the right hands. I'm a fellow tradesman and it was refreshing to see such nice hardworking lads paying special attention to all the finer details of the job. True craftsmen. Before they started to strip my old roof they gave both my neighbours a visit to explain what was involved and even offered to pay to have their cars cleaned should any dust settle on them. Both neighbours have since commented on how nice and approachable they were. The level of cleanliness is really what makes this company stand out, they arrived early on the first day to put boards down to protect my driveway for the skip. Every day the site was left spotlessly clean and my driveway is actually cleaner now than before the work started. Contacted AMT Roofing & Maintenance regarding a job I needed doing, and doing at relatively short notice, and Matt was very understanding of the situation and accommodated my request and attended my house in only a few days. Quality of the work is excellent, professional and courteous workers, left the site very clean and tidy afterwards. Would highly recommend.

We reached out to James at Moston Roofing following some leaks on our valleys due to a poor quality new roof by the previous owners. From previous experience with roofing work, I wanted a proper job, so looked for companies registered with the confederation of roofing contractors, and came across Moston Roofing. James popped round and explained a few approaches, trying to minimise costs for us while doing a proper job in unpredictable autumn weather. We had a couple of other quotes and Moston came out competitively priced, and James clearly knew his stuff. I read the reviews on Which, Checkatrade etc and my only concern was that all the 5* ratings seemed too good to be true! However... Moston absolutely delivered on the job, managing to fit us in 2 weeks earlier due to a cancellation and our pressing needs to fix the leaks. They worked in a tidy manner and replaced the lead valleys promptly, and gave us a few options along the way. They also replaced our front guttering and downpipes, which was a bit complex due to the shape and roof height. James has popped back a couple of times to double check the mortar had set and gutters are draining, to ensure that they have done a job to last. He is a great communicator and very honest and easy to work with. I would use again without question... but would rather not have a 3rd roof to fix!

After contacting Manchester & Ashton Roofing to quote for a repair at the rear of my house they responded very quickly, also providing photos of the damage. As the quote was a reasonable one I gave them the go-ahead for the repair. This was done within a couple of working days, and the back garden/yard was left so clean and tidy I wasn't even aware that they had been. An invoice followed by email, again with photos so that I could see for myself that all work quoted for had been carried out to my satisfaction. Call this company first if roof work needs to be done, you won't be disappointed, they are quick and efficient, clean courteous and tidy, and charge a reasonable rate for a job well done. I am a very happy customer.
