Cannot praise Dan enough. Had water coming through my roof due to rotten batons and damaged felt. He was so quick to come and look and once the scaffolding had been put up he was super quick to come and repair everything. I’ve now got a watertight roof. His communication was excellent and a very reasonable price for what needed doing. Would highly recommend

Having contacted a number of local roofers Danny was the only company to respond. Never used before and was a little worried as usually go by word of mouth. Having read Google reviews took a chance and now have a good roofer to add to trusted professionals I'd have no hesitation in recommending. Danny called and assessed condition of roof. Explained work needed wasn't urgent and actually advised me to save my money. However accepted my wish to have work done and arranged to come back another day. Arrived on time and prepared, really genuine people and very trustworthy. Also looked at our flat roof and advised on products for us to maintain the life and save money by doing ourselves. Fixed parts of our flat roof (despite not planning to as agreed work was on the main slate roof) assessed chimney stack. Really impressed with work, approach and cost is both reasonable and affordable. I also checked to confirm that as advertised that SAFEWAY Building and Roofing is a trusted trader on TMBC approved list and found that it is. Thanks again guys will use again without hesitation.

Ashton roofing were professional, straight talking and very helpful, with great customer service. We were in the middle of trying to sell our house, and required a roof inspection to settle some doubt left by a survey. The work done was quick and thorough, with everything put back in its place, resulting in a useful report with much photo evidence to back it up. Later, when the sale fell through and I was in need of their services again and enquired, they made sure to reach out and offer me a work slot before giving it away to a customer who got in contact after me - a very fair minded and considerate business.

Very professional company. From quote to completion I was kept well informed and they understood my worries about a leak and came out promptly to do some initial work. The quote was comprehensive and the work was explained. The team who did the work were polite and explained what they were doing - would definitely recommend.

Ashton roofers are by far the most professional and competent roofing company i've ever used.Very polite nicely spoken man on the phone arranges all visits for quotes and for work shedule.Written estimates are sent first and work is charged the same on completion of work.They even came out of their local area to repair my roof.100% would definately recommend them.

Matt refaced our stone windowsills. He did a fantastic job. They look great, so much so we have had two people knock on the door asking who did them and for their number! Matt’s communication was good too, keeping us updated throughout the process. I will definitely be using him again.

I cannot recommend Matt, Anthony and the team at AMT roofing highly enough. We've just had a full new main roof, porch and bay roof installed. From initial contact Matt immediately puts you at ease & makes you feel like you are in the right hands. I'm a fellow tradesman and it was refreshing to see such nice hardworking lads paying special attention to all the finer details of the job. True craftsmen. Before they started to strip my old roof they gave both my neighbours a visit to explain what was involved and even offered to pay to have their cars cleaned should any dust settle on them. Both neighbours have since commented on how nice and approachable they were. The level of cleanliness is really what makes this company stand out, they arrived early on the first day to put boards down to protect my driveway for the skip. Every day the site was left spotlessly clean and my driveway is actually cleaner now than before the work started. From the start Matt was efficient and helpful. He attended when he said he would to assess my roofing problems. Within a few days he contacted me with a number of quotes for the various jobs I needed doing. He was more than happy to arrange the work around my shifts. He arrived to undertake the work on time and in horrible snowy freezing conditions. Matt and his team did an amazing job over two days, they completed the essential work I asked for plus a few extra jobs that I cheekily added on at the last minute. I will definitely be asking him to return to complete a number of other not so essential cosmetic roofing issues in the future. I highly recommend Matt and his team, friendly, professional and nothing was too much trouble, they definitely aim to please their customers. Young & Co completed a roof replacement for our block of flats. They completed an extensive survey for us and provided us with a specification to suit. Everything was very professional and we were provided with all the proper documentation and certificates during the works and following completion. After several bad builders over the years it was refreshing to have a professional and quality service from start to finish during a recent roof replacement. Communication was excellent, with the team both on- and off-site keeping us up to date with all works. The schedule given was adhered to, despite difficult and challenging weather. In spite of the challenges, the on-site team headed by Sam always proved to be polite and cheerful, ensuring that quality was not compromised. Lee was great. He had to come in and fix a bodge job after a cowboy builder did a bad job and created a mess which meant he broke more than he fixed. I would definitely recommend, professional and on point!

Great experience. Had leaks in the roof in 2 places, had a couple of companies round quoting expensive prices without even getting up to look. Lee turned up when he said he would, got up on the roof took video to show me the issues, quoted a fair price. He carried out the repair, and took video to show me what he had done and the finished result. Can't fault him, would definitely recommend.

Lee came quickly to inspect the problem with my roof. He used a drone so I didn't need to be in for him to diagnose. Sorted scaffolders and did the work quickly with his two sons. Reasonably priced and clear photos/videos of the work he completed. Happy with his work :)

Phoned Lee in the morning and he arrived half an hour later. Gave a very reasonable quote to repair leaking gutter and did the work there and then. Very efficient and professional. Highly recommend.

If only all tradespeople held themselves to James' does! He's been twice now and done good work at reasonable prices. He also didn't attempt to increase the size of the job by telling me I needed more done than I actually did.

We reached out to James at Moston Roofing following some leaks on our valleys due to a poor quality new roof by the previous owners. From previous experience with roofing work, I wanted a proper job, so looked for companies registered with the confederation of roofing contractors, and came across Moston Roofing. James popped round and explained a few approaches, trying to minimise costs for us while doing a proper job in unpredictable autumn weather. We had a couple of other quotes and Moston came out competitively priced, and James clearly knew his stuff. I read the reviews on Which, Checkatrade etc and my only concern was that all the 5* ratings seemed too good to be true! However... Moston absolutely delivered on the job, managing to fit us in 2 weeks earlier due to a cancellation and our pressing needs to fix the leaks. They worked in a tidy manner and replaced the lead valleys promptly, and gave us a few options along the way. They also replaced our front guttering and downpipes, which was a bit complex due to the shape and roof height. James has popped back a couple of times to double check the mortar had set and gutters are draining, to ensure that they have done a job to last. He is a great communicator and very honest and easy to work with. I would use again without question... but would rather not have a 3rd roof to fix!

Darren and his team came out and helped us on an emergency call at the crack of dawn and were with us within the hour when we really needed the help. They got on to our roof despite the heavy rain and fixed the issue without any hesitation and at a very reasonable price. First class job at a very competitive price. We'd had 2 previous roofers look at it and "fix" it but they didn't find the actual problem, so it continued to leak. After contacting Manchester & Ashton Roofing to quote for a repair at the rear of my house they responded very quickly, also providing photos of the damage. As the quote was a reasonable one I gave them the go-ahead for the repair. This was done within a couple of working days, and the back garden/yard was left so clean and tidy I wasn't even aware that they had been. An invoice followed by email, again with photos so that I could see for myself that all work quoted for had been carried out to my satisfaction. Call this company first if roof work needs to be done, you won't be disappointed, they are quick and efficient, clean courteous and tidy, and charge a reasonable rate for a job well done. I am a very happy customer.

I have used these guys before. I never bother getting quotes anymore as they take some beating. But most of all they are polite and thorough in there work, right from pricing the job to tidying up. Great team. Amazing customer service. Highly recommended
