Texted last night with details and pictures of a repair required on my daughter’s roof after the weekend’s storms. Within 10 minutes I had a very reasonable price and after a few more minutes had arranged for the job to be done today, got a text message at around 9am today to say he was on his way. The job was done without any fuss and although I wasn’t there my daughter tells me he was very professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend this company.

John has done a few jobs for me over the last 10 years or so and his work is always first class. True gent. He fitted a flat roof to my garage and now after 10 years an insurance inspection has found the roof is still in excellent condition. The work stands the test of time! Highly recommended.

I cannot thank John and his team enough. These lads had a mammoth task on their hands as this job required that John identified a number of problems caused by previous builders from out of town (cowboys in my opinion), strip the roof back to ensure that there were no fundamental issues or damage inflicted and then replace all existing work and current materials with the best new materials available. I discussed the situation with John before he began so he understood what was needed, and between us we decided on what work was to be completed. From the very first minute on the roof these boys went to town, getting the old mess completely removed and setting about laying top quality membrane, batons and tiles. To say they were well organised is a huge understatement. It was like having machines up there. By the end of day 1 I could already see the impact they'd had, with over 90% coverage already completed. Throughout the days they never faltered in their work commitment and John took me up several times to show me their progress as it happened. The end result is that my home now looks and feels like a new build, with absolutely all previous issues now a thing of the past. The pictures taken don't quite do his work justice, but all I can say is what a legend. I will recommend John and the lads to everyone I speak to, as I don't think his work can be beaten. Recently had a full re-roof done by John. Would highly recommend to anyone. From the initial messages regarding the work through to completion, John was straightforward and professional. John even sorted out the bay window roof and gutterings for an extra £200, a job which we knew needed doing but hadn’t actually asked John about (we should have done!), it would have cost £1000+ to have it done separately and so for John to see it and do it for £200 was really appreciated. Very happy with the new roof and again would highly recommend to anyone wanting any roofing work done.

Have called several roofer before for the leaking roof, but no one helped to spot the source of leak. John and his team came and inspected the roof very detailedly. And concluded that the leak caused since the roof is too flat instead of any tile broken. They helped to install new rubber roof and job done in two days. No problem now and hope it could last as long as possible👍

Recently had my very old and rotten gutters, soffits and fascias replaced by Patrick and his team. Can’t fault them at all, all 3 sides of the house and a small extension were completely renewed in 2 days to a brilliant standard for a very good price, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and will definitely be using them again in the future!

Can’t recommend this company enough! Patrick came round the day I contacted him and had a look at the work that need to be done on our gutter over bay window as it had not been correctly installed and water was just sitting in the gutter overflowing. He then came back the day after and quoted me a fair price to completely relay the gutter in the correct pitch and angle and now the water runs off freely with not pooling what so ever! If you need any work done to your gutters I would highly recommend Patrick and the team.

They recently completed a flat roof on an extension on our house, they were completely professional, answered all our questions and queries without hesitation and completed all works in a timely manner. Whilst Clark & Son was at my house completing original work. I asked the to price me up for new faciers soffit. The price they quoted included removal of all the rubbish . And scaffolding. Others said I would need to get rid of rubbish very polite respectful and quiet. Not noisy like some companies.

After getting 4 quotes for 2 full new roofs, I went with Gaskell Roofing as There price was much better than the others. Iv also seen there vans knocking about round Wigan years so I also knew they had experience.
