Danny and his team at Safeway roofing completed an urgent fascia and roof repair for me recenty and did a brilliant job. The damage caused serious damp in a bedroom so I needed the work doing as quickly as possible. Safeway were well priced, provided great customer service and completed the job quickly and on time. Having contacted a number of local roofers Danny was the only company to respond. Never used before and was a little worried as usually go by word of mouth. Having read Google reviews took a chance and now have a good roofer to add to trusted professionals I'd have no hesitation in recommending. Danny called and assessed condition of roof. Explained work needed wasn't urgent and actually advised me to save my money. However accepted my wish to have work done and arranged to come back another day. Arrived on time and prepared, really genuine people and very trustworthy. Also looked at our flat roof and advised on products for us to maintain the life and save money by doing ourselves. Fixed parts of our flat roof (despite not planning to as agreed work was on the main slate roof) assessed chimney stack. Really impressed with work, approach and cost is both reasonable and affordable. I also checked to confirm that as advertised that SAFEWAY Building and Roofing is a trusted trader on TMBC approved list and found that it is. Thanks again guys will use again without hesitation.

Called Danny the day after really strong winds and suffering roof damage and he came out immediately to recover a ridge tile which could have slid off the roof and damaged a vehicle or causing injury to a person - his customer service was impeccable! He then attended at a later date to carry out the repair and inspect the rest of the roof. Faultless work, competitively priced, excellent service and generally Danny and his colleague really great guys - highly recommended for any roofing repairs.

Ashton roofing were professional, straight talking and very helpful, with great customer service. We were in the middle of trying to sell our house, and required a roof inspection to settle some doubt left by a survey. The work done was quick and thorough, with everything put back in its place, resulting in a useful report with much photo evidence to back it up. Later, when the sale fell through and I was in need of their services again and enquired, they made sure to reach out and offer me a work slot before giving it away to a customer who got in contact after me - a very fair minded and considerate business.

Ashton Roofing resurfaced two roofs for us. One a bay window roof might have been regarded as more conventional but they still did an excellent job with plenty of insulation and efficient drainage. The other roof was a perished leaking concrete roof with worn and leaking roofing felt. Dealing with this roof defeated other companies but Ashton Roofing came up with an innovative and elegant solution which has completely transformed the roof. It’s simply superb. It was also at a very competitive price. I cannot recommend enough.

Ashton roofers are by far the most professional and competent roofing company i've ever used.Very polite nicely spoken man on the phone arranges all visits for quotes and for work shedule.Written estimates are sent first and work is charged the same on completion of work.They even came out of their local area to repair my roof.100% would definately recommend them.

Highly recommended ! The gutter quality is beyond expectations. Aluminum gutters are miles better than our old plastic ones. We replaced the gutters across whole house plus the extension. Jerry came out to give us a quote. He made a detailed assessment and had a good solution for an over spilling problem from the top gutter into the extension roof that was one of the reason for us going for replacement. Zoe who was handling the job was brilliant and very responsive to any questions that I had. And finally, two guys who did the actual job were simple great. They worked with almost no break and left everything nice and tidy. Thank you very very much.

After trying (and failing!) to have our cast iron guttering repaired 3 times we decided to have it all replaced with aluminium. I contacted 5 firms for quotes. From the start I was impressed with Inter County, the advice was excellent and they provided a full written quote (unlike most of the others). They weren't the cheapest but definitely a great choice. The work was carried out very efficiently with attention to detail.The end result was great guttering that was colour matched to original and the style was in keeping with the house. The installers were polite and very thorough, clearing up at the end of the day. Communication was always good and I was kept informed at every step I would definitely use them again.
