I highly recommend Michael. He explained professionally the issues of the roof and chimney. His quote is very clear, honest, and fair and there’s nothing hidden. He repaired the broken tiles and took all the broken bricks down from the roof and cemented it. He handled it carefully. He also repaired my leaking gutter. After replacing the parts of the gutter, he lifted up the hosepipe to the roof to test the leak of the gutter. I was amazed by his skills and care for people. He then cleaned the site to make sure it’s clean and tidy. I can’t praise him enough. You can truly trust him.

Michael McGowan did an amazing job on my Roof Repair. He was polite and friendly. Michael was also meticulous, patient with attention to detail and knowledgeable as he explained what he was going to do and what he had done. I already had before photos. Photos were then taken during the repairs and on completion. The house is a tall 3 storey Victorian Terrace and the party wall joining the neighbour’s roof front and back with mine, had a disintegrating silver foil held in place with bitumen and several broken tiles including a leaking Bay Window. He managed to remove it all, then replacing any broken slates on the neighbour’s side, placing a hidden bonding join underneath, finally placing my tiles in place and sealing both sides together. He left a very nice and well finished Roof and Bay Window. Any broken tiles were replaced on my side. We did have to wait for the dry weather. Once it came the big job was finished in 3 days. Fair priced. Would use again. Thank you Michael.

Really nice guy, took the time to explain through the work he was doing replacing the flashing/repairing my chimney and checked in on how the work was holding up after he had completed. Even gave me a free survey /quote which I found most other local roofers wouldn't do - I appreciated all his help and will definitely use him again in the future - thanks Michael!

Michael did a brilliant job on our roof repair. He came out to inspect our leaky chimney stack and identified the problems. He took plenty of photos and patiently talked us through what the problems were and how he’d fix them. He offered a very fair price for the work and managed to fit us in at a time that worked for us. He took more photos as he progressed through the work giving updates. Since the job he’s messaged multiple times after rainy weather to make sure everything is all ok. Without a doubt would recommend him.

Lee came quickly to inspect the problem with my roof. He used a drone so I didn't need to be in for him to diagnose. Sorted scaffolders and did the work quickly with his two sons. Reasonably priced and clear photos/videos of the work he completed. Happy with his work :)

Absolutely fantastic. Lee was the only company that actually took the time to come out and inspect the issue. His colleague assessed the issue quickly, we agreed and price and date for the work to be completed. Reasonably priced, even ended up doing a bit more work than he originally quoted but he didn’t charge any more. Would highly recommend and would use again with issue!

Great experience. Had leaks in the roof in 2 places, had a couple of companies round quoting expensive prices without even getting up to look. Lee turned up when he said he would, got up on the roof took video to show me the issues, quoted a fair price. He carried out the repair, and took video to show me what he had done and the finished result. Can't fault him, would definitely recommend.

Ashton roofing were professional, straight talking and very helpful, with great customer service. We were in the middle of trying to sell our house, and required a roof inspection to settle some doubt left by a survey. The work done was quick and thorough, with everything put back in its place, resulting in a useful report with much photo evidence to back it up. Later, when the sale fell through and I was in need of their services again and enquired, they made sure to reach out and offer me a work slot before giving it away to a customer who got in contact after me - a very fair minded and considerate business.

Ashton Roofing resurfaced two roofs for us. One a bay window roof might have been regarded as more conventional but they still did an excellent job with plenty of insulation and efficient drainage. The other roof was a perished leaking concrete roof with worn and leaking roofing felt. Dealing with this roof defeated other companies but Ashton Roofing came up with an innovative and elegant solution which has completely transformed the roof. It’s simply superb. It was also at a very competitive price. I cannot recommend enough.

Danny and his team at Safeway roofing completed an urgent fascia and roof repair for me recenty and did a brilliant job. The damage caused serious damp in a bedroom so I needed the work doing as quickly as possible. Safeway were well priced, provided great customer service and completed the job quickly and on time. Having contacted a number of local roofers Danny was the only company to respond. Never used before and was a little worried as usually go by word of mouth. Having read Google reviews took a chance and now have a good roofer to add to trusted professionals I'd have no hesitation in recommending. Danny called and assessed condition of roof. Explained work needed wasn't urgent and actually advised me to save my money. However accepted my wish to have work done and arranged to come back another day. Arrived on time and prepared, really genuine people and very trustworthy. Also looked at our flat roof and advised on products for us to maintain the life and save money by doing ourselves. Fixed parts of our flat roof (despite not planning to as agreed work was on the main slate roof) assessed chimney stack. Really impressed with work, approach and cost is both reasonable and affordable. I also checked to confirm that as advertised that SAFEWAY Building and Roofing is a trusted trader on TMBC approved list and found that it is. Thanks again guys will use again without hesitation.

Called Danny the day after really strong winds and suffering roof damage and he came out immediately to recover a ridge tile which could have slid off the roof and damaged a vehicle or causing injury to a person - his customer service was impeccable! He then attended at a later date to carry out the repair and inspect the rest of the roof. Faultless work, competitively priced, excellent service and generally Danny and his colleague really great guys - highly recommended for any roofing repairs.

I cannot recommend Matt, Anthony and the team at AMT roofing highly enough. We've just had a full new main roof, porch and bay roof installed. From initial contact Matt immediately puts you at ease & makes you feel like you are in the right hands. I'm a fellow tradesman and it was refreshing to see such nice hardworking lads paying special attention to all the finer details of the job. True craftsmen. Before they started to strip my old roof they gave both my neighbours a visit to explain what was involved and even offered to pay to have their cars cleaned should any dust settle on them. Both neighbours have since commented on how nice and approachable they were. The level of cleanliness is really what makes this company stand out, they arrived early on the first day to put boards down to protect my driveway for the skip. Every day the site was left spotlessly clean and my driveway is actually cleaner now than before the work started. From the start Matt was efficient and helpful. He attended when he said he would to assess my roofing problems. Within a few days he contacted me with a number of quotes for the various jobs I needed doing. He was more than happy to arrange the work around my shifts. He arrived to undertake the work on time and in horrible snowy freezing conditions. Matt and his team did an amazing job over two days, they completed the essential work I asked for plus a few extra jobs that I cheekily added on at the last minute. I will definitely be asking him to return to complete a number of other not so essential cosmetic roofing issues in the future. Contacted AMT Roofing & Maintenance regarding a job I needed doing, and doing at relatively short notice, and Matt was very understanding of the situation and accommodated my request and attended my house in only a few days. Quality of the work is excellent, professional and courteous workers, left the site very clean and tidy afterwards. Would highly recommend.
