I’m very nervous when it comes to the dentist, I decided to go private because I thought this to be the best option after reviewing their website. James, my dentist; Took the time to get to know me in my assessment, he learned all about my dental history and was patient with me when it came to the examination. It’s a very in depth and informative review into my teeth which is explained in full detail and a plan was devised within the hour on how we can move forward. It’s a very welcoming and relaxed environment. For anybody anxious about going to the dentist I strongly suggest Shelley & Pope

I can't thank Leanne and Greg enough for the treatment I received. Great teamwork put me at ease with a treatment plan, carried out in a true ly professional manner. The Attention to detail was impressive to say the least and I thank them so much. Fabulous practice from reception to chair. Shelly and Pope are my new dentist for sure.

Excellent Practice. The Practice itself is immaculate. Simon Pope is extremely professional and makes you feel at ease during surgery. I recently had a root canal procedure with Dr. Simon Pope, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From start to finish, his professionalism was evident, and it really put me at ease. This was a tooth with curvy roots that other dentists would not attempt, but Simon made the entire process as comfortable as possible. He took the time to explain each step, ensuring I was fully informed and at ease. The treatment itself was painless, and I could tell he was focused on providing the best care. The entire team at the practice were warm, welcoming, and highly efficient, which only added to the sense of professionalism and care. I was genuinely impressed with how well I was looked after, and I’m so grateful for Dr. Pope’s expertise. If you’re in need of dental work, especially something as daunting as a root canal, I can highly recommend him. You’ll be in very capable hands.

I felt at ease today when I had the first part of two parts of my treatment for a difficult root canal filling. The dentist explained the treatment to me. All the staff were very nice and friendly.

I saw Philip today for invisiline consultation and he was very thorough and explained everything clearly making me feel at easy and comfortable throughout! Wendy on reception was then very informative on finance options explaining all options available in a kind and patient manner! All staff at this practice are friendly and always have smiles on their faces. Thank you for making me feel so at ease at coming to the dentist!

As far as visits to the dentist go, this is a great practice. The staff are friendly and the dentist I see,Sharan, is absolutely fantastic. Really friendly and knowledgeable and gives great advice on looking after your teeth. The surgery is also spotless. Very highly recommend 👌

Having been a patient at this practice for many years all through my daughters growing up and having their first check ups there I have found them more than professional at all times. Always friendly and put you at ease as soon as you walk through the door. As quite a nervous patient my recent visit involved a difficult extraction as part of a cosmetic process. I had been very nervous over many months leading up to this. Tom was absolutley outstanding at explaining the process of the treatment step by step, reassuring and putting you at ease. His approach and professionalism is second to none and is a real assett to the team. I would most definitely recommend him and the practice highly to anyone. 😊👍🏻

So lucky to be their patient. Staffs really good and helpful, the clinic its really clean their doctors are amazing , they know what they doing and before they do something they tells you all the steps and if you are happy with it they go forward . Specially doctor Thomas , he gave me my smile back . Been going seeing him around 1 year , he tried his best to make me happy and make sure everything is well done , words not enough to thank him 🙏🏻☺️ love this clinic and their staffs and recommend them to everyone.

Like most, dentists have never been my preferred place to visit but coming to Thornley Park Dental isn’t like any other dentist. This is a place where every person that works here makes you feel comfortable, confident and reassured that you’re in good hands. From stepping into the practice and being greeted by a great reception team to having the work carried out, you’re guaranteed to feel at ease. I came to Thornley Park for the first time around 6 weeks ago for a consultation around some cosmetic work and met with the fantastic Dr Aquila and Anya. They ran me through options, explained the benefits and the risks and were completely open and honest without being pushy on an agreement. Aquila is a brilliant dentist and I can’t thank her enough for the last 6 weeks and the work she has completed! Thank you to all of team Thornley Park - it’s been a great experience and we’ll see each other every 6 months for a check up!

The front-of-house team at this dental practice are wonderfully welcoming. Like many, I have a mild dental phobia (or what’s commonly referred to as being a nervous patient), but the front-of-house team always put me at ease with their warmth and friendliness. They never seem to forget a name or a face, which adds a personal touch that makes each visit feel more comfortable. Dr. Neehal and Dr. Arfeen are exceptional. Their bedside manner is fantastic, and they show genuine care and interest—not just in your teeth, but in you as a person. They always provide top-notch advice and explain everything clearly, so you understand exactly what needs to be done and why. Even though I moved from Didsbury years ago, I still make the one-hour round trip for my hygiene appointments and check-ups. My teeth are in the best condition they’ve ever been, thanks to the excellent care and guidance of this team. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my dental needs. Huge thanks to everyone at the practice for all that you do!

I registered with this dental practice last year and the care I have had is amazing! I feel that I am getting the best possible treatment, the dentists are so thoughtful and planned my treatments in line with my financial ability. I had to have an emergency appointment and was treated immediately with the best care. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough.

I have been going to the practice for over 40 years and found them to be very good and understanding as I am a nervous patient. The dentist Mr Shah explains everything very clearly and is very thorough. Gill the hygienist is also excellent and I cannot fault the service she and advice she gives me. The receptionist is lovely and the dentist’s assistants Gabby and Jazz are lovely. Gill’s assistant is also very good and understands my needs. I would recommend this dental practice.

I got teeth whitening done by Dr Ben and it was a great experience. The reception staff are friendly and the waiting area was very comfortable. Dr Ben came and greeted me and led me to the treatment room which made me feel more relaxed than a regular visit to the dentist where you’re called in. From there I found the rest of the appointment relaxed and Ben thoroughly explained the process. Overall a much nicer visit to the dentist than usual. Thanks

I couldn’t recommend Smile Stylist more! It’s a fantastic, personable and welcoming practice. Tom looked after me and my teeth for 2 years and I’m over the moon with the results. He is extremely thorough, kind and listens to any questions. I was also able to get fillings, cleans and whitening done as well as Invisalign. All was completed to an extremely high standard. Thanks so much to Tom, his team and also all the staff on reception.

I've seen Nicole and Natalie over the last couple weeks and have been made to feel comfortable and at ease for both visits. Treatments thoroughly explained and very thorough. Saw Marcel yesterday to be fitted with a dental palette. What a great guy, extremely friendly with a good sense of humour. He fitted it and told me how to insert and remove the palette. As someone who was terrified of dentists, I cannot recommend this dentist enough. I had a tooth messed up really badly by a previous dentist so was scared to attend the dentist for 10 years. In the short time I've been at this dentist Miss Atcha has been kind, gentle and empathetic at every appointment. She's been patient with my anxiety and has built a relationship and trust with me. Best dentist I've been with. Reception staff and dental assistants are also lovely and take the time to remember your name etc. Just an all round generally great dentist and very happy they could take me on ❤️

This practice has been so helpful for my Mum. Hadn’t been to the dentist in years. Alison and the dentist were so kind and considerate and have really improved her quality of life.
