Spoke to Sean regarding my roof . Loads of tiles had moved after all the wind .sean was there next day told me exactly what the problem was , I asked Sean could I have it re slated he said yes used all the existing slates , work was done in 2 days . Looks absolutely tremendous well pleased with the work the lads were great worked really hard and cleared up after they finished. Definitely recommend to do a great job and the price was really good as well. One happy customer thanks Sean and your lads .

John has done a few jobs for me over the last 10 years or so and his work is always first class. True gent. He fitted a flat roof to my garage and now after 10 years an insurance inspection has found the roof is still in excellent condition. The work stands the test of time! Highly recommended.

I cannot thank John and his team enough. These lads had a mammoth task on their hands as this job required that John identified a number of problems caused by previous builders from out of town (cowboys in my opinion), strip the roof back to ensure that there were no fundamental issues or damage inflicted and then replace all existing work and current materials with the best new materials available. I discussed the situation with John before he began so he understood what was needed, and between us we decided on what work was to be completed. From the very first minute on the roof these boys went to town, getting the old mess completely removed and setting about laying top quality membrane, batons and tiles. To say they were well organised is a huge understatement. It was like having machines up there. By the end of day 1 I could already see the impact they'd had, with over 90% coverage already completed. Throughout the days they never faltered in their work commitment and John took me up several times to show me their progress as it happened. The end result is that my home now looks and feels like a new build, with absolutely all previous issues now a thing of the past. The pictures taken don't quite do his work justice, but all I can say is what a legend. I will recommend John and the lads to everyone I speak to, as I don't think his work can be beaten. I contacted John after the storm as my roof edges were hanging off. After sending him pictures he gave a price and said he would get to me ASAP. Within a few days he rang to say he was on his way and came within 20 minutes. He just did the job with no fuss. I feel I can sleep easy now knowing it's not going to fall off and damage my neighbours car. He is a really nice man and very genuine. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone. I have already asked him to do another job and he will let me know when he can do it. I have every confidence in him.

Whilst Clark & Son was at my house completing original work. I asked the to price me up for new faciers soffit. The price they quoted included removal of all the rubbish . And scaffolding. Others said I would need to get rid of rubbish very polite respectful and quiet. Not noisy like some companies.

Clark & Son Structural Waterproofing Ltd. re-built our chimney stack today. We can recommend their workmanship with confidence. They arrived on time, worked steadily throughout the day and completed the job on the same day. They removed all the debris leaving the site very tidy. Thank you Clark & Son.

After getting 4 quotes for 2 full new roofs, I went with Gaskell Roofing as There price was much better than the others. Iv also seen there vans knocking about round Wigan years so I also knew they had experience. We had our front elevation installed with a new roof by Gwinnett Roofing Services because it was damaged by the installers off our dormer. Kev then quoted us to do the rear elevation and dormer roof. He knew the installation system very well. He kept us informed of any delays caused by late deliveries etc. He always kept the work place tidy and made sure it was tidy before leaving. Kev spent 3 weeks away from home to do our roof and I’m glad we went with him. I can’t recommend him and his company enough. Thank you for all your hard work. The dormer looks amazing!! Kev came to the rescue of a leaky, dated roof and offered his experience and insight into the potential options available for a new roof. He proved to be a good listener and helped plan the project. Eventually we opted for new roof beams that allowed for Velux skylights to be installed as well, bringing in more light to the house and a more positive ambience to the interior. Kev sourced and fitted all of the materials, battling through some really hot conditions to provide a high quality aesthetic to the exterior that will now last for years to come. I would highly recommend his professional level of skill and knowledge for any future roofing project.

Can't fault the work that Kevin and Alan have done on our new loft extension. Went above-and-beyond what was expected, and came up with great solutions for any and all issues as they arose, though no fault of theirs. Am very happy with what they have done, and hopeful that they can come back and do bay window tiling, insulation and stairs as soon as we have the budget and agreed specification to work to. (Insulation requirements are remarkably hard to hit for current regs. on a 1930's property.) No hesitation at all in recommending them and their work.

Having seen the quality of work Kevin has done around the village we were very keen for him to do the improvements to the roof and fascias of our garage and porch. We couldn't have been more pleased because the work was top quality. Kevin was very professional and hard working, consulting us regularly as the work progressed, everything was organised and fulfilled to a high standard and we are extremely happy with the result. Have called several roofer before for the leaking roof, but no one helped to spot the source of leak. John and his team came and inspected the roof very detailedly. And concluded that the leak caused since the roof is too flat instead of any tile broken. They helped to install new rubber roof and job done in two days. No problem now and hope it could last as long as possible👍

Recently had a full re-roof done by John. Would highly recommend to anyone. From the initial messages regarding the work through to completion, John was straightforward and professional. John even sorted out the bay window roof and gutterings for an extra £200, a job which we knew needed doing but hadn’t actually asked John about (we should have done!), it would have cost £1000+ to have it done separately and so for John to see it and do it for £200 was really appreciated. Very happy with the new roof and again would highly recommend to anyone wanting any roofing work done.

Called TRS on Monday morning 27/01/25 about a downspout that had been damaged and was hanging from the gutter. They assessed pic I sent them and came round the same day to repair it. Excellent service and workmanship from them at a good price. Very pleasant guys wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Mike was brilliant from first point of contact to completing the job. Mike turned up when he said he was going to be there, even when the weather was bad. Ridge tiles needed repointing as water was getting in. Mike came out promptly, reviewed the job and gave me a quote same day. Very happy with the job. 2 ridges re-pointed, neat and tidy and no more water ingress. I would use R&R again.

Mike is so nice! I bought a house and was really worried about the roof Incase their was anything wrong with it and needed some plants removing from the chimney. Great professional company. The guys came out and ripped the old cladding off the front of my house and installed new cladding. Also pointed out issues on my roof that they spotted with their drone and fixed them for me. I was expecting a long and messy job but the guys work fast while not compromising their quality. They also cleaned all the mess. I’m made up with the finished results and have no problems recommending P&L to anyone and will be calling them back in the future. Also very reasonable prices you can’t argue with. Top blokes !!!!!

The guys were professional, polite and hardworking. They did everything that was asked and even did a few extra things that I didn’t ask at no extra cost. I am always a bit dubious when it comes to getting workmen in as they tend to overprice or more work needs doing than anticipated. These guys prices were spot on and less work was needed to be done than I originally thought. Can’t fault them. They cleaned up after themselves too.

I had an issue with my chimney. The cowl had come off during the adverse weather. I spoke to P&L on the Monday and they were here by the Wednesday at the agreed time. Both lads were very friendly and we got a super fast turn around on the repair. Can not fault the service, I highly recommend them!
