I was looking for to fit ev charger in my property and I come across Richard of South Lancs Electrical. I wasn't sure what I will need, because ev and ev charger something new to me. He reply quickly and gave me his recommendations but did not push me to buy only his products. I couldn't wait too long for installation, wanted to made it before car arrives. Before installation day visit me to check what needs to be done and gave some more advises. Very professional. On a day arrives on time and fit my new charger. I can not speak highly enough of Micky. We had lost lighting downstairs and the fuse box hadn't tripped. Micky came round within an hour on a Friday evening and spent over an hour investigating. Unable to find the issue, he came back the next morning and once again began to try and work out the problem. It goes without saying that he solved the conundrum and also rewired the fuse box to prempt a further issue. He even offered to hoover up after! All this for an exceptionally reasonable price. An absolute legend and a lovely fellow. If you are looking for a trusty and professional electrician, look no further.

What outstanding service from a wonderful man. Micky answered my calls within seconds, he arrived on site exactly when he said he would, he diagnosed the underfloor heating problem and replaced a faulty thermostat the following day. All for an extremely fair price. I can't praise his work ethic, his attitude and his pricing highly enough. What a joy people like Micky still exist in the trade.

We had just bought a house and Ollie came to do the electrical safety test. He was very professional. Communication before the appointment was excellent and he showed up on time. When he checked the fuse box, he explained us that because of the age of the wires a full rewire was required to comply with today's regulations and was not worth it doing the electrical check. In the end he did not charge us because he did not carry out the test and even helped us finding someone for the full rewire (a service he did not offer at the time). Next time we need an electrician, we would certainly contact him again.

On contacting Ollie he arranged an appointment with our estate agent to complete an EICR on the property we're buying quickly. Not only did we receive the EICR certificate the morning after the investigation took place, Ollie provided us with an explanation of the findings and a quote for remediation works - all for a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.

I put off replacing the terrible kitchen lights this house came with because I assumed it would be expensive. Late last night they went wrong and I messaged several local electricians here and on Yell, only two replied. The other one insisted he would only fit a light he supplied, which wasn't the sort I wanted, would only be able to do one of the two and didn't give a time. The total quoted cost would have been more than 6 times what Craig charged to replace both units with the ones I sent my partner to get, which was also less than the lights themselves cost, and they werent expensive lights. Everything was arranged easily via the chat on Maps which was super useful as I had to be in the office today and couldnt make calls. It was all done before I got home and for the first time I can see properly in my kitchen. Excellent service, will be calling Craig for anything electrical I need in future.

I reached out to Stuart at GHE Electrical for a quote on a new extractor fan hood for our cooker, and received a prompt response with the quote. They provided both the supply and installation, arranging a date and time that was convenient for us. Two days before the scheduled appointment, I requested to add an additional service: installation of a light fitting in our conservatory. I used Joule Electrical to fit a new outside light, additional garage lighting and replace some existing light fitting. Adrian is very meticulous to detail and made sure that I was happy with each part of the work before he completed. He never tried to rush any part of the job and made safe works that others had left, keeping me well informed each time he found an issue. After completing the works he made sure that I was completely happy with each part the installation, talked me through everything that he had done. After completing he made sure the house was left clean and tidy. The finished works were to the highest of quality and the cost more than reasonable for the amount of time spent. I cannot recommend highly enough and will definitely be using his services again.

Absolutely delighted with a recent rewire that Tom has just completed at my mother’s house. My mother is elderly and obviously having such a big job completed at the age of 81 is very difficult . From the start, we were given detailed estimates, clear breakdowns of costs and also verbally explained what needed doing . Tom is professional, extremely hard working and a true gentleman in the way he respected my mother and explained things. The wiring was over 70 years old, and throughout he showed us the work he was doing and also the old wires that he had replaced . We also decided to ask to have additional work completed as well in terms of fitting security lights attached outside as well. The floor boards all put back perfectly and tidied up as he went along . At the end we were given receipts, detailed paperwork to say exactly what work he had completed and all the appropriate electrical certificates, as well as written guarantees.
