From the initial contact this company were very professional from start to finish with pleasant courteous staff. Job was carried very satisfactorily and would not hesitate to highly recommend them. After repeated attempts at trying other companies who do not bother getting back to you, no such problem with this company, received an instant response each contact.

I'm so grateful to F.G Miller & Son for sending Rachael around to rewire our faulty cables! We've only recently bought our property and it was riddled with unsafe wiring. The issue we had was a rodent had bitten through a wire causing it to spark - a fire risk, but also it kept tripping the mains fuse so we were unable to use electricity in the kitchen. They managed to get Rachael the electrician around within 24 hours of my call, and she spent a few hours diligently rewiring and testing to make sure the readings were correct and everything was safe. So a big thank you to all of your team - we'll be back in touch for any more electrical work we require!

Great work, always on time and a really nice guy too - he will happily go the extra mile to get the job finished, even if it means him working until 8pm at night! Cannot recommend highly enough.

What outstanding service from a wonderful man. Micky answered my calls within seconds, he arrived on site exactly when he said he would, he diagnosed the underfloor heating problem and replaced a faulty thermostat the following day. All for an extremely fair price. I can't praise his work ethic, his attitude and his pricing highly enough. What a joy people like Micky still exist in the trade.

We contacted Micky for an urgent issue we had with our electric system that was effecting the lights and the boiler. He was friendly and had great communication throughout the job. I can not speak highly enough of Micky. We had lost lighting downstairs and the fuse box hadn't tripped. Micky came round within an hour on a Friday evening and spent over an hour investigating. Unable to find the issue, he came back the next morning and once again began to try and work out the problem. It goes without saying that he solved the conundrum and also rewired the fuse box to prempt a further issue. He even offered to hoover up after! All this for an exceptionally reasonable price. An absolute legend and a lovely fellow. If you are looking for a trusty and professional electrician, look no further.

Jim and his team installed a new extractor fan in our bathroom. It was a neat, clean and fuss-free process for a great price. They even worked around faulty hardware to give us a working solution, before returning to fit a replacement, with no extra charge. 100% reccomended.

The electrics kept tripping and I didn't know why. I called JD Electrics and spoke to Jim mid morning. By 4 o'clock the same day Jim had been, found the fault and got it sorted. Excellent service, fast, honest and knowlegable. He even rang me that night to check everything was OK (which it was). I would thoroughly recommend.

Needed an electrician after my fuse box tripped during a storm and couldn’t locate the fault. Paul came round and managed to find the issue and isolate it, allowing other outlets on the same circuit to work. He gave me multiple options on how to fix the issue and didn’t try to push me into making a decision. He explained everything to me and was a really friendly guy! I'm more than happy to recommend Mark from MD Electrics. He has recently fitted lights in my bathroom and at the same time corrected the poor wiring that was already there and was potentially dangerous. Which is why the lights kept blowing. Mark came and fixed an alarm that had already been installed but the original electrician was struggling to get to the bottom of a fault I was having with it. Mark has the patience of a saint, it took hours to rectify but he wasn’t going to leave until my alarm was fixed and working. He’s a really genuine guy, and clearly cares about what he does. Well I had a bathroom sleeping error. I basically flooded the house. The electric went out and I was half drunk scooby doobie.
