Adam and his apprentice Harvey did an excellent job of replacing the consumer unit in my house. Turned up on time and kept everything clean and tidy on leaving. Everything was meticulously tested. Would recommend if you need any electrical work in the Manchester area.

Jim and his team installed a new extractor fan in our bathroom. It was a neat, clean and fuss-free process for a great price. They even worked around faulty hardware to give us a working solution, before returning to fit a replacement, with no extra charge. 100% reccomended.

The electrics kept tripping and I didn't know why. I called JD Electrics and spoke to Jim mid morning. By 4 o'clock the same day Jim had been, found the fault and got it sorted. Excellent service, fast, honest and knowlegable. He even rang me that night to check everything was OK (which it was). I would thoroughly recommend.

We had heaters, an electric mirror cabinet and a new fuse box installed over three days. The jobs were all done to an exceptionally high standard, and everything was comprehensively explained throughout the entire process. We lost power to the kitchen sockets at around 09:30pm and needed a expert to find and rectify the fault, looking online we found AK Electrical Sercives and gave them a call, we were given advice as to what the problem likely was and offered to come out straight away however we were able to temporarily use a extension to keep the essentials on and booked in for the following day. On arrival the next day they got to work straight away being very thorough and professional with the fault finding and was able to locate and fix the issue in short time whilst giving great advice regarding our outdated wiring and fuse box. I'm so grateful to F.G Miller & Son for sending Rachael around to rewire our faulty cables! We've only recently bought our property and it was riddled with unsafe wiring. The issue we had was a rodent had bitten through a wire causing it to spark - a fire risk, but also it kept tripping the mains fuse so we were unable to use electricity in the kitchen. They managed to get Rachael the electrician around within 24 hours of my call, and she spent a few hours diligently rewiring and testing to make sure the readings were correct and everything was safe.
