Bilwire services gave us a quote for a house rewire. Bilal was easy to speak with and I found their quote to be good value for money compared to a few quotes I received. Our house was not easy, it is a period property filled with our belongings and not easy to navigate. We had just bought a house and Ollie came to do the electrical safety test. He was very professional. Communication before the appointment was excellent and he showed up on time. When he checked the fuse box, he explained us that because of the age of the wires a full rewire was required to comply with today's regulations and was not worth it doing the electrical check. In the end he did not charge us because he did not carry out the test and even helped us finding someone for the full rewire (a service he did not offer at the time). Next time we need an electrician, we would certainly contact him again.

On contacting Ollie he arranged an appointment with our estate agent to complete an EICR on the property we're buying quickly. Not only did we receive the EICR certificate the morning after the investigation took place, Ollie provided us with an explanation of the findings and a quote for remediation works - all for a very reasonable price. Simon fitted ambient strip lighting, extra sockets and a multi phase colour ceiling light with speaker in my therapy room.. Also for added security, Simon fitted a wi-fi alarm and external security box. Mark saved the day when the buyers of my house flagged an electrical issue 4 days ahead of the proposed completion/sale date. My husband contacted Mark on the Sunday, he reviewed and did a diagnostic/investigation on the Monday, and installed a new consumer unit on the Tuesday morning - arriving before 8am to start the work.
