Sat in to do some work. There's plenty of plugs, space for a laptop and good wifi. The atmosphere in here is great, it seems to be a popular local hangout and everyone's very friendly. It's dog friendly too. I had a decaff latte with a shot of honeycomb syrup and a lotus biscuit cookie. The coffee is great, the cookie was delicious!

Friendly, clean and welcoming. Feels so homy and smells of your mother kitchen! One of the most ethical and eco-friendly places i have seen. I like their filling stations of cereal, soap, pasta..etc Can't recommend enough

My family’s favourite spot on Monton Road. The owners are so friendly as well as the staff. Always good for a chat, always a warm and welcoming atmosphere for the whole family and they have plenty of events on throughout the year. Most importantly they do the best cappuccino/ flat white around. Absolute gem.

I had walked past a few times and always thought to go in, as it looked extremely cute and it didn’t disappoint. I visited for the first time today to get a coffee. The coffee was incredible and the woman who served me was lovely and friendly. The interior was very cute and I saw they have different events on which I will definitely give a go at some point! Lovely spot, will be back.

Working locally, needed some lunch. I've never noticed this hidden gem 💎. Went for the pie,mash,mushy peas and gravy and I'm full,warm and happy 😁. Definitely will be returning for a sit in meal. Chef was polite, helpful and ensured we had cutlery prior to leaving as it was a takeout on this occasion due to working.

This is a true gem of authentic British and international fillings in a marvellous Pie crust. Delicious and worth every penny. The menu is awesome and advance orders can be placed for the finer dining Specials Menu. The outside catering menu has some excellent choices and is broad and well priced. 100% we will be back again 🙏🏼

The owner David puts on various speciality nights , tonight was a Thai night and all the food was prepared and cooked by his partner Sai .. It was awesome, she is an amazing cook, the food was outstanding and made me feel like i was actually back in Thailand .. at £30 per head probably the best Thai meal i have ever had in the UK ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a wonderful experience we had doing the chocolate course here for Easter Monday. David is such a patient guy who really seems to enjoy his role of sharing his talents. We had so much fun and believe this course is great value for money. Whilst there we were also able to enjoy some home made pies which were lovely!! Such a little gem this place, if you’re nearby definitely pay a visit!

I’m very grateful for this lovely little place on my local walk. There is a lovely shaded area to sit and enjoy the wide range of drinks and snacks they have. There are toilets too. A great place to relax and read a book with a brew 😌

Came here based on recommendations and let me tell you, it didn't disappoint! Great coffee, awesome food - definitely try the sausage roll (it's to die for!) and great service with a smile! Super dog friendly too with a selection of natural dog treats for sale!

Fantastic end to a lovely riverside walk! We came just after the floods and everything was back to normal. Great to see it all back in action. Such a great spot serving excellent coffee and treats. They also serve food but we didn’t try it. Really popular spot and lots of locals taking advantage of an amazing rest spot.

I have a walk here at least once or twice a week. When the sun is out, it's a lovely 2.5mile walk for me each way. But also when the sun is out, it can be pretty busy. Especially at weekends when they do breakfast barms, although sometimes they do them during the week too, and during holidays. Always a nice atmosphere though. I'm actually sat there\here writing this review now, and it's busy with a full spectrum of visitors, and a few dogs. Be aware that if the weather isn't great, the walk can be pretty muddy though. Food is great as are the drinks, and although I've never tried them, apparently the sausage rolls are brilliant. Well worth the walk. Hidden next to the Mersey and only accessable by foot. Nice to look out at the various birds too around here. Occasionally u may even see the parakeets. Prices are very reasonable, and coffee is good too.

What a hidden gem this little cafe is . A warm welcome from the staff team and the most delicious food. I had the pork mince and potato pastie with peas,gravy and red cabbage. Excellent value for £4. Will definitely be visiting again .

The cafe is very inviting, with a relaxing atmosphere somewhere that is lovely to spend time with friends. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. The food is also great , I really love the home made potato cakes and they make some great homemade deserts.

Very relaxed atmosphere, reasonably priced food. Delicious food served by friendly staff. I had the Black Pudding served on a Potato cake with bacon which was a special. The flapjack was delicious, washed down with a good coffee.

What a fabulous place, so many pieces of railway memorabilia. The station cafe is lovely with a warm welcome and great atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

Had a lovely meal in here. I was very impressed with the whole restaurant. It has loads of history all around the place. You can sit at a table or in a carriage. We sat inside a carriage. All the staff were very helpful. The other customers were fun too. We had a cheese and bacon omelette for £8.95 and a tuna and mayo sandwich £5.85 also some drinks it came just under £20. We booked a table. I would recommend booking a table. This restaurant has everything, great food and great train history. A definite place to check out

The food is brilliant and the place is popular for good reason... But I feel the need to highlight that the Irish chap (possibly the manager?) creates an atmosphere of stress that rubs off on customers. It's marred quite a few of our experiences in Playfoots, unfortunately.

Lovely lovely place, delicious food and really good staff. Food was quick to come, huge portion sizes, and really attentive about allergies, triple checking for me when I had questions about the menu! :)

Came at 1pm on a Tuesday. We had the Jerk Mutton bagel and the KFC Bagel. Both were fresh, hot, juicy and incredibly tasty! 100% will be back

Absolutely amazing place! Managed to fit us in last minute for a party of 14 including 2 toddlers on a busy Sunday in the beautiful green room! Food was absolutely amazing and great portion sizes! And all of the drinks were very nice too! The staff were very lovely and couldn’t have done more for us! Such a lovely team! Overall great place will definitely be coming back here soon to try other bits off the menu!!!

I visited here with my daughter and her boyfriend last Sunday. I ordered a full English. My daughter had the avocado and egg bagel and her boyfriend ordered a Panini. All the food was really delicious although my toast was a little overdone for some peoples liking, but it wasn’t inedible. When we arrived, there was only one table available and it hadn’t been cleaned From the previous occupants so I had to ask them to clean it after we’d sat down which they did promptly. Overall, this was really good value for money and we all enjoyed our food and drinks and as it’s quite local to me I will definitely come again.

food is always good, nice for the price and the staff are polite. The atmosphere is good however dogs as they are can be quite loud. The cafe itself is good with multiple places to eat to be away from the noise if ud like and they offer an excellent range of food.

Had a wonderful affogato, which is one of my fave drinks, and my mother had a hot chocolate which she really enjoyed. Lovely coffee bar, great drinks, helpful staff and nice atmosphere. Will visit again!

Thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas breakfast at branch 14 this morning! The food, the atmosphere, the amount of effort put in by the amazing staff made the experience absolutely awesome for my 2 year-old granddaughter. Father Christmas went all out to make it a fabulous event for all the children who were there and it was a lovely touch when he came out to chat to each child individually especially for the little boy who was initially a little overawed by the meeting! Very special day, and the individual gift boxes are just the icing on the cake, to be honest I can't see how they can do all this for the price. Super good value!! I highly recommend this gorgeous little family run coffee shop!

Had a great time at the ‘after dark’ session - loved bringing our own bottle for drinks and made some very cool art with friends. Would make a lovely date night too.

We travelled from London to try this pottery painting cafe and it was AMAZING! The staff are so kind and lovely, and the overall atmosphere is very chill and cosy. It is well layed-out and everything is easy to find. They give you enough time to paint and have some food and drink if you’d like which is a plus. It was a very pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend. Will be revisiting next time I am in Manchester.

Loved it here! The food is lovely and the children's meal was a big hit with my little girl. We visited twice in the week do we managed to take a few photos. Pre book if you can because it does get very busy, especially in the school holidays and the weekends. We got to choose our little piece of pottery (prices are all on the bottom of the pots), different prices, all depending on size, etc. We then decided what paints we wanted, and then we had 2 hours for our booking to complete our little masterpiece! Once you have finished, you hand it over to the staff, and they give you a slip with an order number on, and then you collect it a week later once its been in the kiln. It is a lovely little treat, and it's not just for kids either. Many adults/couples were enjoying this too. I'd definitely go back. The staff were all lovely and very helpful too. 😀

Such a fab experience from the moment you walk in! The staff are all so lovely and attentive and it's such a cool environment for painting pottery and doing a clay imprint! Food is also delicious, definitely be going back!

Went for brunch today at Ezra & Gil (Helper and Happiness) Hilton Street Manchester. Our server was Kate, she was very helpful and let us change scrambled eggs for poached on 1 of the brunch orders. We asked for the drinks to come with the food so you don't get the drinks first, and then have to order more she was very concerned if we had any allergies, which was excellent. We ordered French toast which was amazing, and 2 breakfasts, the scrambled eggs were the best my wife has ever had and my poached eggs were nice and runny, the food came quickly and was very well cooked and hot Dog friendly always a bonus, lots of high chairs were also available for young families, great mix of customers, both old and young, you can also buy their products , coffee beans and bread, takeaway also available, recommend checking this establishment out, you can also get alcohol .

Came for brunch this morning and have to do a special shout out to Abbi, who was so accommodating and lovely! I'm 35 weeks pregnant and she went above and beyond and even though it was so busy, she found me somewhere to sit whilst waiting and even made sure I got a suitable table plus providing service with a smile! The food and coffee was fab too!

What a nice place to come, have breakfast and relax. This is my first time here and it was a nice ambiance. The food and coffee were amazing. We had the pleasure of having Kate and Laura assist us. They were very attentive. I definitely recommend this place if you’re ever in to Manchester.

The design is perfect, the concept is perfect the presentation is perfect. Despite the fact that they’re busy especially on a Sunday, the waiting time for your food is short. The coffee is good (most coffees in Manchester tastes stronger compared to London but this place was good!) I’d say this place is a must visit if in Manchester!

This place is a diamond in the rough. I ordered a burger. It was amazing. They have very pleasant staff serving great breakfasts and all-day food. If you fancy a beer, they have that too. The prices are so reasonable, bordering on comparatively cheap. For a lovely, peaceful experience, go upstairs. It's a big yes from me. Good food, good prices, great people.

Lovely little cafe. Great variety in the menu. Toasties were particularly good. And really superb value for money. To be honest, they could put 10-20% on top of current pricing and still be competitive - hopefully the new flats opposite should provide a valuable source of fresh clientele.

Seriously friendly staff and warm welcome environment even with my large dog Nero they couldnt be any kinder in this place, been to butterfly way too many times to count, and with each visit the quality and hospitality had never changed!!! They were a 10/10 on my first visit and have been 10/10 without fail ever since!!! Thank you so much from all of us 😁

A really lovely little place next to the station. Nice food, nice staff. Not expensive with an extensive menu. I'm surprised it was so quiet on a Friday evening. Would definitely come back.
