Wonderful cafe owned and run by John, who's more than happy taking care of you and sharing a story or two with you. Brilliant host with great character. Food portion size is very good. You'll get a stack of toast with your breakfast and you'll even get your beans in a teacup! Really quirky, and eccentric but an excellent gimic too. Shop is situated on the high street. Good amount of seating available where you can sit and watch the world go by whilst you listen to Gold on the radio. Value for money is excellent too. Thanks John, we'll be back again soon.

My partner and I are staying at the inn down the road. Couldn't get in for breakfast at the inn. We walked down to north's Cafe and had breakfast there. It was delicious. I would highly recommend north's.

If you're looking for a delightful little coffee shop with a fantastic atmosphere, great food, and a wonderful atmosphere, look no further, The North Coffee Shop is owned by John who has many years of experience and makes mouth watering food, he is incredibly friendly and has created a wonderful warm and inviting atmosphere, there is something for everyone and all made with love by John himself. He runs Greek nights also and the dishes are fantastic, with loads of variety. I would highly recommend anyone to drop in and sample some of John's tasty treats, you won't be disappointed xx

What an amazing little friendly cafe. Food was lovely, not at all expensive. Me and my wife will definitely be calling in again soon.

Fantastic place for great food at great prices just keep your eyes open for changes coming up to the area and I must also mention how great the staff are who tirelessly work their fingers to the bone ( I jest about their fingers) always with a smile on their faces I heartily recommend that you try this place at some point soon and you will see what I mean

Beautiful atmosphere. Amazing food. We had a Ceaser Salad and the Egg Benedict with Smoked Salmon on Sourdough. People are friendly. Highly recommend this place. Chicken is halal.

Busy Saturday morning but we was seated quickly. Juices were fresh and food was delicious. Only disappointed was the coffee it tasted like they was form vending machine which was quite surprising.

Superior experience. We came for a soft brunch around 11am since we had some small bagels earlier in the morning. First we were waiting around 10 mins while being seated. Order was instant. We followed advice from waitress and got pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Fantastic combination. Flat white and English breakfast tea is a must have option. Restaurant has temperament atmosphere; staff is friendly; served food looks excellent every way I was looking at; and important thing premises are clean. For me nice place for tasty morning breakfast or late morning brunch.

I have always had amazing experiences with Caffè Grande. Their hot chocolate is always perfect and im spoilt with cream!! 😍👌🏻

What a nice place to come, have breakfast and relax. This is my first time here and it was a nice ambiance. The food and coffee were amazing. We had the pleasure of having Kate and Laura assist us. They were very attentive. I definitely recommend this place if you’re ever in to Manchester.

Came for brunch this morning and have to do a special shout out to Abbi, who was so accommodating and lovely! I'm 35 weeks pregnant and she went above and beyond and even though it was so busy, she found me somewhere to sit whilst waiting and even made sure I got a suitable table plus providing service with a smile! The food and coffee was fab too!

Went for brunch today at Ezra & Gil (Helper and Happiness) Hilton Street Manchester. Our server was Kate, she was very helpful and let us change scrambled eggs for poached on 1 of the brunch orders. We asked for the drinks to come with the food so you don't get the drinks first, and then have to order more she was very concerned if we had any allergies, which was excellent. We ordered French toast which was amazing, and 2 breakfasts, the scrambled eggs were the best my wife has ever had and my poached eggs were nice and runny, the food came quickly and was very well cooked and hot Dog friendly always a bonus, lots of high chairs were also available for young families, great mix of customers, both old and young, you can also buy their products , coffee beans and bread, takeaway also available, recommend checking this establishment out, you can also get alcohol .

The design is perfect, the concept is perfect the presentation is perfect. Despite the fact that they’re busy especially on a Sunday, the waiting time for your food is short. The coffee is good (most coffees in Manchester tastes stronger compared to London but this place was good!) I’d say this place is a must visit if in Manchester!

Reserved a table as I know it can get busy. Great food, didn't have to wait too long and weren't rushed either!! Friendly service!! 🙂

Called in at midday today with my Brother for lunch. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Quick service, great value for money but most importantly the food was delicious, served nicely with generous portions. Couldn't find any faults, would recommend to anyone. Well done. 👍

Just had the best afternoon tea in the local area. Lovely hot and cold options on the menu, something for everybody.

Just had breakfast here and it was absolutely spot on! The food was fresh, tasty, and served piping hot. The coffee was perfect—rich and smooth, just how I like it. The staff were friendly and welcoming, creating a really relaxed atmosphere. Clean, cosy, and great value for money. Definitely my new go-to spot for breakfast. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed a fantastic brunch at Suburb. Outstanding food, friendly & polite staff and good value for money. It's definitely worth a visit and we hope to return soon.

A lovely place , a very clean and warm atmosphere, staff are very friendly and helpful . Food and drink choices are great we had a vegetarian breakfast today which tasted delicious and presented beautifully, fast service will definitely visit again 😀

I love Healey Dell Tea Rooms sooooo much. Been many times and staff are always so friendly, food is excellent and the venue beautifully unique (I love it so much that I actually had my afternoon hen do celebration here back in 2018 🥰) Today I had the amaretto coffee cake which was absolutely amaaaaazing 👌👌👌 Honestly one of the best cakes I’ve ever had. And I eat a decent amount of cakes… I also had a chrysanthemum flowering tea which was really delightful. Fragrant and delicious. Watching the flower unfurl in the clear tea pot was lovely too. 10 out of 10 every time. A must visit 🫶✨

Staff were absolutely great! Was a very cute and interesting place. My only criticism is that some of the cakes on the afternoon tea tasted a bit buttery , but other than that everything was perfect.

We were served by Estelle, she was very pleasant & attended to our every need. We had afternoon tea, which was delicious & plentiful. The cakes that we couldn't manage, were brought home in the box provided. Would definitely recommend & will be returning.

Great service, a really lovely team working hard in ever changing circumstances. The coffee here is second to none and they bake their own artisan bread, which was so delicious and really made the breakfast. I was pleased to see the egg yolk was a lovely orange colour, which says to me they use excellent quality ingredients. I've been to too many places and been served pale yellow eggs and it puts me off as you know they are just the cheapest bulk buy eggs and probably not ethical or sustainable. Will be coming back here a lot in the future, really glad my colleague recommended it.

Had lunch, visiting from Florida my friends took me here, very very nice place, food was excellent service was very good as well highly recommended would definitely come back.

13/03/24: had mocha with coconut milk and beef sausage & egg on a white bloomer. Sausage was a little bland, but the bread and coffee were very good. Service was friendly and quick. Also had the cheese & onion omelette on brown seeded toast. That was also very good! I would have liked to have seen a full English on the menu. Parking isn't great, made worse by inconsiderate parkers after we'd arrived! Dog friendly, promptly served with water in a Brewdog bowl! Very thoughtful!

Cosy little coffee shop, stopped by for a quick brunch. Had the salmon & egg on their artisanal bread which was great and a lovely cappuccino. Staff were delightful and attentive, I can see myself coming back in the future.

What a lovely place to eat the main reason being the staff that were very welcoming. I was with a party of 16 we hadn't reserved any tables but it was no problem for the staff to fit us all in. They allowed us to bring a cake to celebrate a birthday & presented it on a stand. Everyone was more than satisfied with the food which was delicious. I'm sure everyone in the walking group will agree that all staff were lovely nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to all staff.

Just had the breakfast wrap and all I can say is wow! Arrived supper hot and packed with the most beautiful and best quality ingredients. The bacon was so thick with no fat on and the sausage was one of the best, if not best I’ve ever had. Mushrooms were tasty and the wrap was very well presented. Excellent value for money for the quality of food you get. Didn’t have to wait long for delivery either. Will definitely be ordering one again, soon. Thank you guys. Hats off to the Chef x
