Popped in here this morning with my friend so glad we did what a friendly atmosphere from Chris the owner i think .the breakfast was fantastic nice hot and fresh i had vegetarian option and friend had the full breakfast cup tea coffee 2 toast each £14.50 amazing. Seats approximately 10 inside and there's tables outside. It's busy with take away as well .we will be back thank you and hello to rob we had a chat with

I understand that breakfast ends at 12pm, but think they'd benefit from having an all day breakfast on the brunch menu, as it's otherwise quite limited. I ordered sausage on an English muffin (forgetting that it was a little breakfast muffin), so it was quite small. In hindsight, I should have ordered it on bread or toast to get better value for money. It was very tasty though and the staff were pleasant. My Americano coffee was lovely too.

Such a hidden gem in Ashton. When I come home from Uni, it’s highlight for me and my mum to visit. It’s incredibly reasonably priced, and such a lovely, warm atmosphere. The food and sweet treats and simply delightful and it is a very fond visit for me and my mum. The staff are always lovely and wonderfully accommodating, we just love this place and it is such a fantastic addition to the town 💓

Went in for dinner with my mum a couple of times now, the staff are welcoming and we were presented with menus on entering. The menu itself has plenty of choice and is reasonably priced. Even though the times we were in was very busy, we received our food in good time. All in all a nice place to visit and grab some food and support the local small businesses, they also apparently do afternoon tea but I cant comment on that as not booked or used it

A slice of Italy in Stalybridge! The food was delicious, drinks were incredible especially the aperol spritz. Would highly recommend, such a great vibe of local spirit. Will definitely return.

Absolutely loved this place. By far the best coffee we’ve had in the UK since we left Australia for holidays. We had a malteser chocolate cake which was delicious. The staff were warm, welcoming and down for a friendly chat. The interior was modern and inviting with such comfy couches. Will definitely be coming back to this place before we leave Stalybridge

Always a warm welcome and even the customers are friendly. The coffee is the best in Manchester. The homemade cakes are delicious but get there early as they can sell out especially if I’ve been in. Ashtons best kept secret.

I visited this coffee shop recently, and I was blown away by the extensive selection of beans available—over 30 types to choose from! Not only that, but they also had a delightful assortment of over 20 fresh loose teas. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making my experience even better. Without a doubt, this coffee shop is the best in the area. Highly recommended!

Small hidden gem, cosy atmosphere. Staff attentive and quick service. We both had burgers, The Smoker & The Texan Show Stopper.....wow. The flavours of both were great, the portion sizes were spot on. Will be back, would reccomend to others.

What a gem of a place! The food is excellent. Really good quality, cooked to perfection and served piping hot. The home made baked beans alone are worth a visit. Plus, the decor and Frank Sinatra soundtrack in the background give this place a great vibe. Definitely worth a visit.

We have just been and had a breakfast also aloud us to bring our dog in. The breakfast was lovely sausages are next level and he even goes to the effort of making home made baked beans and they are yummy. Definitely be back, it's a little gem hidden away.

Visited this place today. Google maps took us to the other side if the river so had to detour, was a bit tricky to find but when at the mill it is signposted. The owner was lovely, friendly and chatty. Cafe itself is a little hidden gem! Lovely decor and a great feel to it. Our food was cooked fresh and the flavours were bang on. Wil definitely return and off course recommend to all reading this! You wont be disappointed. Upon hearing about the homemade pies and sausage rolls he makes we was gutted he had none available. That just goes to show how popular they are!!

Was nice, but took 45 minutes for 3 meals. The Mediterranean eggs were bland, not much flavour, did taste nice though and the eggs were over cooked and not poached, the omelette was tasty but over done, ordered a sausage butty with no butter and was given one with butter so after 45 minutes of waiting had to wait longer. Teas and coffees were lovely, nice enough staff, will go again as the menu has some lovely sounding dishes. One more shot!!

Googled dog friendly places near me as I was meeting a friend who had small dog with her The place was lovely and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Great menu, big selection of very lovely looking cakes but I managed to resist those. Food was lovely, well presented, delicious and served surprisingly quickly. Raised our spirits on a very soggy Tuesday morning.

Love this wonderful bistro. There is a warm, friendly, welcoming ambience, as there is inside the Seraphina to which it is attached. The menu is varied and the food is always excellent as Nikki and Dave use only quality ingredients. Would thoroughly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

What A Beautiful place to be🫶🏼 First impressions on arrival was WOW! So clean , well decorated and beautiful feel to the place ! Was served by the manager Nicky and young Dave who was so friendly and kind ! They both took a real interest into mine and my boyfriend’s day ! Now to the food ! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Cooked by a young woman called Beth she was so lovely and kind honestly couldn’t do enough for us ! Always had a smile on her face and could see she hacked the pressure of the bistro getting quite busy . Me and my boyfriend both had the full English and you could tell it was well cooked with good quality food ! Will definitely be returning !

Great visit! We were given a warm welcome on arrival. Seated quickly. All staff were friendly, efficient, hard working and super helpful. Our meal was gorgeous and served fresh, well presented and very tasty! Out waitress Estela is wonderful. She has waited on me several times. Every visit, her customer service, work ethic and friendliness is consistently of a very high standard. She works so hard to create a wonderful guest experience.

We came for a much-needed Date Night and had a spectacularly good meal. Jasmine was attentive and looked after my wife's capsaicin allergy with care and consideration. The food was faultless, everything from start to finish was incredible, even the basic elements had little flourishes that elevated them. Special mention to the red cabbage side, the festive bone marrow, and the Pannetone dessert We will be back soon!

3rd time coming to Miller and Carter in Ashton and never had a bad experience here! Thank you Jasmine for your service, you’ve been our server on 2 of our visits and both times very good! And thank you for picking my surprise desert! Absolutely delicious every time! Tried the Sunday dinner sharing plate this time and it was definitely on the list of top meals I’ve had.

Lovely little tea shop in the middle of Mossley. All the staff we encountered were super friendly and could not have been more helpful. The food was excellent, very fresh and nicely presented. The scones in particular were delicious and the coffee really good too. Returned today to celebrate our sons intimate marriage with an afternoon tea. Bride and groom were made to feel very special. The table had been laid out lovely with pretty tablecloth and vintage tea service. We were rather early but it wasn't a problem and the staff made us feel very welcome. The afternoon tea was delicious and very plentiful with a great range of sandwiches and cakes. They had even got a wedding card for the happy couple. We will definitely be making another visit when in the area.

From the second we entered Louise made us feel so welcomed by her warm character. She was so positive, friendly and overall happy. She really helped us settle in with our massive double pram and baby. No problem was too much for Louise and she really made us feel at home! The food was also really tasty, hot and you could tell the produce was locally sourced.

Went in today and had our regular breakfast but also got the chance to sample the new pizza!!! They were absolutely amazing and compared to some of the best ones I’ve had in Manchester! Staff are all really friendly and helpful and remember you from previous visits! Can’t wait to go in again soon for pizza!

Lovely little place! The lady with the blonde hair couldn’t have been better! She got us soup within minutes as we were in a rush. She also had to deal with a difficult customer on another table and did so politely.

I have a small breakfast and it is always hot and very very tasty the girls are brilliant price great jack

I come here every week and nothing is too much trouble. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is tasty and good value for money. The cafe is always clean.

We hired the space for my wife's 40th and had the best time. It's a lovely cozy space and Nicola and her staff were on point. Thank you so much for making it such a memorable evening ❤️🙂

Just got back from hosting my friend’s baby shower here. Just want to say a massive thankyou to Nicola and the staff. From organising weeks ago, nothing was too much of an ask. We had a space to ourselves for 25 people and everything was very organised. The room was decorated so nice ready for us and I was able to arrive 15 minutes earlier to add my own touches. The food was lovely and everyone had a great time. We also added their amazing cake stand, and there was plenty of room for us to play some baby shower games. Thankyou I would definitely recommend and be returning. Xx Hannah

Held my daughter’s 21st birthday party here. Nothing was too much for Nicola and the other staff from start to finish. Venue looked gorgeous and food was lovely. Would definitely consider for future events and can highly recommend.
