Been going here for quite a while now. The food is always fresh and the food second to non. Always a good variety to choose from. And friendly atmosphere. Sets me up for the day. Great location easy to park.

Incredibly lovely and welcoming staff! We loved coming here on our break at work- all the food was sensational couldn’t recommend this place enough.

I came across Simply Delicious by chance while out cycling. Really friendly service. I don't normally eat hotdogs. However, I am so glad I tried one, here as it was delicious. They also do a nice cup of coffee. There are a few bench type tables outside. No cover, though. Without a doubt, I will definitely visit again if I am out cycling that way. By the way, great prices.

Simply awesome! Everything about Hive just works perfectly. The produce is amazing, from the delicate croissant to the substantial seeded sourdough (and everything in between) and Sam and Emily are the loveliest people you could wish to meet. The pastries here are unreal! So buttery and flavourful! I absolutely love their foccaccia and wholesome sandwiches that you can't put down. The pastries run out quick so best to grab some in the morning. Highly recommend their Cardamom Buns and filled Cruffins 😍

I called and bought seeded sourdough based on a couple of recommendations from friends. The flavour profile is quite exceptional, whether toasted or simply buttered, wow what a joy to eat. I will be calling regularly and also buying for a couple of friends who appreciate great quality.

Fresh from a micro bakery based in Westhoughton - a white sourdough loaf. Sam, the owner of hive, has been running this micro bakery for around a year and a half. He bakes many goodies , from tantalising toffee puddings to scrumptious seed loaves, all fresh and handmade , directly from his home kitchen. This sourdough loaf is superb. Everything is fresh, even down to the aged homegrown starter. It has a tangy flavour , a crisp , crackly crust and is extremely healthy. You will never settle for store bought loaves again! I paired my sourdough with smashed avocado , spring onion and chilli flakes - but if you prefer something else - you will be happy to know this bread goes with almost everything! Because of its tangy flavour it pairs well with both sweet and savoury toppings. It’s also delicious with hot soup- a perfect hearty and healthy meal for these cold days! Sourdough bread has more vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants than other breads. Nutrients can also be easily absorbed. It also contains less gluten than regular bread. Sourdough bread is also an excellent source of antioxidants. Studies have shown that antioxidants like the peptides found in sourdough can lower the risk for certain types of cancer, signs of aging, or chronic diseases like rheumatoid arthritis. A treasure of a find ✨️ 💖. 1st time visit to La Vita, certainly won't be the last. Beautifully clean, warm and inviting. Lovely staff serving a rich Italian coffee. A good menu too to choose from for our next visit...breakfast 😋 Highly recommended Latest update, we returned for breakfast and it was awesome 👌 We opted for the "Maxi Breakfast" minus the mushrooms and we weren't disappointed, very delicious and expertly cooked items 😋 And the latest review, returned with our grandchildren to sample the waffles...wow!! They speak for themselves, tasty and made with Kinder Bueno and love. The staff in La Vita are amazing, nothing is too much trouble ❤️

A really busy little place with a warm atmosphere. Cheery, bright yellow chairs. Does not smell of fried food. Gorgeous cakes in the cabinet. Actually got what I ordered. Smily staff. Fantastic little cafe,menu good variety and reasonably priced,very organised and friendly staff, nothing to much trouble,quality of food excellent,good chef,we took cakes home with us and they were home made and a different level,cafe nice decor and clean,we will return.

I visit Luciano's regularly to meet up with friends. I have enjoyed coffee only, breakfast and lunches. The staff are really friendly and attentive. Food and coffee always delicious. Good price range. Must try an evening meal here soon!

Visited here on the 22nd October 2024. It opened at 9am and there was a small queue waiting at 8:45am when we arrived. Upon opening, we were warmly welcomed and the place gradually started to fill up with a nice vibe. Both myself and my work colleague had breakfast and coffees. Food and drink was excellent, well presented and good quality. Staff were friendly and attentive, but not over bearing. It will definitely be my go to place on further visits to Bolton.

We dined here last week, a small group of 4. Food and service was excellent. Maurizio was very attentive, toping up wine glasses and checking in. We shared the Platter, a delicious mix of starters. I had the gnocchi with lamb which tasted amazing. We all felt very looked after and you can tell the staff really care about their job and making customers happy. Would definitely return and recommend.

You've got to love the Snug. Whether it's for some lovely grub and a coffee fix (Flat White is amazing) or beer and a gig. Great atmosphere.

This is a lovely place, The staff are all friendly and will go out of their way to do anything for you. Food here is amazing, from the breakfasts to the home made cakes. It can sometimes be hard to find a place to sit but that just goes to show how good they are. Foods cooked to perfection and are vegan and vegetarian friendly. We call in after a walk and get a cold drink and a slice of cake. They have several different options like Carrot cake, lemon drizzle, victoria sponge and chocolate cake. They have other options every now and then but all are very good.

Great very small independent gig venue. Interesting music/film/TV memorabilia stuff on the walls. Reasonably priced beer . Lots of outdoor seating which is handy as it can get quite hot inside.

My first time in French Press. We called in because of the remembrance service. It was extremely busy but the lady at the till although looking a little stressed was extremely helpful and very welcoming. Her boss I'm assuming was working behind her doing the coffees and again made us feel very welcome. It was a lovely atmosphere. We had toasties which were nice and then finished off with cake which there was a huge selection of. The lady at the till was apologetic to everyone as she served the drinks in between serving at the till and warming through toasties, which I thought was very good customer service but the wait was understood in my eyes considering how busy it was. I will definitely be calling in again. Cracking little coffee shop, lovely staff, great food, amazing cakes and great atmosphere.

Lovely coffee shop in the village run by lovely people. We go here several times a week and the coffee is great. Well worth a visit if your in the village.

The best coffee on the high street, the mocha is perfect. The breakfast is super with fresh ingredients. All the staff are warm and friendly. Definitely our go to coffee shop.

First time here. Quite a lot of seats. I asked and they allowed me to work with my laptop, generous. I stay for roughly 2 hours. Vibe was great, loud music and ppl were freely chatting around. Enough to cover my mouse clicking sound, perfect. Food was decent (considered the prices is a little higher then expected) and staffs are friendly. Definitely recommend if you want food & coffee & talking.

I was out and about today and nipped into @selfwesthoughton who have moved to just across the street, now they are just across the road from Westhoughton Market. It looks amazing and the welcoming atmosphere is still fantastic as ever!

The food was delicious, I ordered sourdough with avo and feta cheese. The presentation, flavour and accompanying salad was remarkable. Service was fast and with a smile. Can’t fault anything. Will definitely be coming again.

As a Caucasian traveller who’s been to South Asian countries many times, this hit perfectly on the spot. Authentic just like Pakistan.
