Ann unexpected gem in an unforgiving urban landscape. Lovely staff, and great coffee too. Get back to nature in a Manchester suburb. A great find.

I love this place, very peaceful and chill. Staff are very friendly & they let you look around for as long as you need to, without interrupting. They are helpful, just ask. There is a little cafe too ( I'm yet to visit it). The shop is spacious & has lots of interesting stuff. They also have a 'pot rescue' where you can take old/ used pots home for free!! different sizes & all in good condition. Sending lots of love to the people who work here :) *You will also find 2 little cute cats hanging around, so adorable!

An oasis of nature in the middle of the city. Lovely place for having a break and a cup of a tea. Friendly staff. The garden features different spaces available for activities, classes and for hire. There is a refill station for detergents/cleaning products and the shop sells a good variety of eco friendly products. Kids and family will love visiting the garden, as there are lots of fun and interesting events happening throughout the year. And 2 lovely resident cats help making the visitors feel welcome. What's not to love?

Cute little garden centre providing a lovely escape back to nature in Manchester city centre. The staff seem to know their stuff and answered our questions with a knowledgeable but approachable air. Always good to support small businesses too. Nice range of plants available at decent prices, and the plants themselves seem well looked after so can feel confident that you're buying quality products.

Very nice cafe. You can either sit inside or outside. The food and hot drinks are great. Good service as well. Offered to heat up my food for me and the outdoor seating was decorated very nice

Great independent cafe inside Hulme Garden Centre, with a calm and green setting, service delicious pastries and light meals as well as lots of teas and types of coffee. A regular hangout with our friends.

So delicious and such good value for money, we split between 3 and still had plenty leftover! The lobster tail is delicious and there is so much sauce. Can’t wait to order again and try more!

Wow wow wow!! What an absolute pleasure to eat. I've watched seafood boil mukbangs for years so this had a lot to live up to - everything i imagined and hoped for and then some 🥰 we got two "seafood boil no mussels 2019 "for two people and it was a generous amount of food - tried cajun and garlic butter and you get such a good amount of sauce at the bottom!! both sauces are incredible Lovely service and well wrapped, we biked back into town with our food and it survived ! please eat here it is so worth it!

We stopped here today on our drive home and it has to be one of the best experiences we've had all tour. The staff were really friendly and welcoming going out of their way to make us feel comfortable! The food was amazing, Alison's cooking was on point with the eggs being perfect and needs to get more praise!! A lovely little local business which we would rather support! 100% recommend 👌 Well done Alison, you're a star!❤️

A great little cafe open all week and now re-open on Sundays until 1pm, much too our delight Great Tasty food & atmosphere, could make your own sitcom with staff and customers antics. I had a breakfast wrap with hash browns and the other half at a full English. Forgot to take a piccie as was too busy eating it 🥓🍳. Noticed pancakes were on the menu as well, maybe next time 🤫

Found this cafe on TripAdvisor as we were on the way to Manchester. The good reviews on there met my expectations. The service was extremely friendly and quick. I went for the full breakfast and I wasn't disappointed. Definately worth a visit.

First time visiting, very friendly staff, bit of a wait on the food but it's obviously fresh and high quality. Very nutritious meal which is the USP here. Didn't find much flavour but I chose quite a plain dish salmon/rice/salad box. Will go again and perhaps try a burrito, the steak sandwich sounded nice!

Such a lovely hidden gem in Hulme. I come frequently for a quick lunch. Service is always lovely, the staff are friendly and even know what I want before I tell them! A great variety on the menu, all meat is halal and the vegan and veggie options are perfect. I recommend the vegan bowls with chickpea and sweet potato curry. Spicy rice has a nice kick to it! It’s a far better option for a quick lunch than the places close by selling processed junk! Thank you boxco ✨

Amazing! I love this place! The food is incredible! Healthy, fresh, handmade and delicious. The team are so lovely, they gave me recommendations, helped me decide, and they were on top of the cleaning - the minute someone left, they were there straight away to clean the table. I loved the beef taco bowl with brown rice, beans, salad and fresh lemon. And matcha latte. It was hard to decide because they had such a great range of drinks (turmeric latte, fresh fruit smoothies, teas and coffees). Amazing decor and fab music (I spent much of my time finding the tracks so I could listen to them later). Definitely coming back with the family!

What can I say? This place was absolutely an unequivocally. The best place I’ve ever seen in Manchester. I was really happy with the people there. They were really welcoming, really really energetic loving their job and loving making food. I love the food and it was really healthy, Which in some cases is not for people desire, but I’m telling you with the flavours I have tasted today I think I’m gonna learn healthy for the rest of the year. I want to thank them so much because they’ve paid my day and I can’t wait to see him again and hopefully be good friends with them.

The Damson Tree is the best, I think it has become my new favourite cafe to go. Be worth the extra drive that’s for sure, first time I tried a Butty was today with a BLT baguette it was that nice I went back for a Mango chicken and Asian coleslaw both delicious. I recommend this place to anyone and the lovely ladies always have the welcoming smiles 10/10

Ordered afternoon tea for delivery for three people - we couldn't finish all of it! It was so filling and absolutely delicious. It was beautifully presented, and the service and communication was excellent. Having it delivered was also such a help. Would highly recommend.

Jo’s outside catering is brilliant. Great quality, convenience and value. It was perfect for our family get together and we had so many great comments, as everything was so tasty. Jo was able to accommodate a few menu tweaks too. Would recommend again!

The bagels are hands down the freshest and most delicious I’ve ever had—crispy on the outside, perfectly chewy on the inside. But what really made my visit special was the outstanding customer service. Shamama, the customer assistant, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain the different bagel options and helped me choose the perfect toppings for my sandwich. Her positive energy made the entire experience delightful, and she made sure I was completely satisfied with my order. Food was 10/10, not even a bagel guy but this was something else. I tried the BBQ beef brisket… didn’t know what to expect… but I was blown away. I seen this gem on tik tok and so glad I tried it. I am an active gym goer so this is perfect for me. Staff are very helpful full and care for the customers. Really happy with the food and service. I will be ordering for lunch tomorrow. My go to from now. Don’t miss out.

Superior experience. We came for a soft brunch around 11am since we had some small bagels earlier in the morning. First we were waiting around 10 mins while being seated. Order was instant. We followed advice from waitress and got pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Fantastic combination. Flat white and English breakfast tea is a must have option. Restaurant has temperament atmosphere; staff is friendly; served food looks excellent every way I was looking at; and important thing premises are clean. For me nice place for tasty morning breakfast or late morning brunch.

Busy Saturday morning but we was seated quickly. Juices were fresh and food was delicious. Only disappointed was the coffee it tasted like they was form vending machine which was quite surprising.

Food and drinks are spot on! Salmon comes in generous portions as well as the soup. They’re both flavourful Also they make the best smoothie and milkshakes! Will definitely go back for different menu Service is okay but atmosphere can be loud during peak times

Love this cafe used to go to their cafe in Stockport and now drive 5 miles every Saturday food is great and the most reasonably priced around and we love the coffee. Staff are great

I popped into Lou's Brews for a G.F. Breakfast unfortunately no G.F. sausages, but I was compensated with extra Bacon. As any Coeliac will know G.F. bread is Tiny so I will opt for the "Big Breakfast" next Time. The Cafe was very Clean and very Pleasant. The Staff were both Friendly and attentive. The Lovely young lady who served me also worked out my Bill so it was Cheaper because I didn't have Sausage or Hash Brown's. I had Bacon, Egg, Beans, Mushrooms n Toast and TWO Coffees all for under £8. A Very Pleasant experience. ☺

Had the Big Yin because I was craving some haggis and needed to fuel up for a big day. Every meat was savory and cooked to perfection. If you're looking for a more well-rounded meal, you may want to get something else as it did end up being quite a bit of meat. The portion sizes are deceptively big for the price, I wasn't even close to getting through it all! The staff was really attentive despite how busy the place was. Would definitely come back to try that Manc Breakfast next time I'm in town.

Really nice place for breakfast if visiting Manchester. Food was delish we had Turkish eggs and American pancakes. Reasonable prices and the staff were really friendly.
