It was my first time visiting and it definitely will not be my last! Me & my partner were seated quickly with a warm welcome and explained the menu and how to order. The bloody Mary’s were to die for, possibly the best I’ve ever had! The food was fresh and delicious and always served with a smile, worth every penny!

Great tasting breakfast. The butter on the toast was amazing and left an pasting aftertaste. Eggs were cooked perfectly too Service was fast and prices are reasonable. Expect to spend between £8-13 for a meal here

Came for brunch this morning and have to do a special shout out to Abbi, who was so accommodating and lovely! I'm 35 weeks pregnant and she went above and beyond and even though it was so busy, she found me somewhere to sit whilst waiting and even made sure I got a suitable table plus providing service with a smile! The food and coffee was fab too!

What a nice place to come, have breakfast and relax. This is my first time here and it was a nice ambiance. The food and coffee were amazing. We had the pleasure of having Kate and Laura assist us. They were very attentive. I definitely recommend this place if you’re ever in to Manchester.

Had the Big Yin because I was craving some haggis and needed to fuel up for a big day. Every meat was savory and cooked to perfection. If you're looking for a more well-rounded meal, you may want to get something else as it did end up being quite a bit of meat. The portion sizes are deceptively big for the price, I wasn't even close to getting through it all! The staff was really attentive despite how busy the place was. Would definitely come back to try that Manc Breakfast next time I'm in town.

Really nice place for breakfast if visiting Manchester. Food was delish we had Turkish eggs and American pancakes. Reasonable prices and the staff were really friendly.

This place under promises on the outside and over delivers on the inside. It looks like your average high street cafe, then you step in to a quirky cool place to eat. Service was perfect & food was 5 star, definitely worth the money. I would recommend this place for breakfast we had the Manc Muffins and they are better than a McDonalds one.

Excellent afternoon tea today. Only downside too many crusts on sandwiches although fillings excellent could improve on the quality of the ham. Only one tub of clotted cream, don't know if this an error or usual. When I arrived to collect the platter was out on a table and a very hot day. Definately recommend and will buy again. Thank you

Went in for breakfast on Sat morning. Decent, honest food. £8 for the big breakfast (two of almost everything) & £6.50 for the standard breakfast, both inclusive of a brew. Fast & friendly service. Will be visiting again when the need arises..

On 28th February myself friend & 2 daughters had afternoon tea delivered plus a bottle of prosecco to celebrate what would have been my Mum's 94th birthday! I also like to do something nice as I know she wouldn't want me to be sad! The quality of the food was outstanding as was the presentation! I'm looking forward to lockdown being over so I can go for lunch! Service from Debbie was so nice very kind!

Called in at Kim's Kitchen before going to a gig at the Academy, there were DJs playing cool records and the decor was very welcoming and pleasing. There's an excellent choice on the menu and the food was superb, and came in very substantial portions. Reasonably priced for food and drinks, give it a go if you're in Manchester 👌

It's excellent, good varied menu, great atmosphere, top music, and pretty speedy service. A young member of our party reckoned it was the best meal out she'd had in a few years. Portions are good and the prices very good value. Had a couple of curry goat, Mediterranean Mezze and Salt and Pepper chips with prawns. It was the Salt and pepper chips that got the acclaim. Though everything else was good++.

Great place with nice outdoor seat. I had fish curry, and my partner had mashed potato with sausage and peas. Fish curry came with rice, pita, and mint yogurt in the side (I added prawn, prawn wasn't originally in the fish curry). Fish was boneless, and the whole dish was pretty flavorful, the portion was decent. I got really fed up after this! Loved the outdoor seat, suitable for sunny day if you just wanna grab a quick bite or grab a drink and chill there. Staff were very friendly and nice. Will definitely visit again some other time!

Very lively atmosphere albeit very loud- if you enjoy live music and a well decorated interior, this is the place for you. The staff are generally interesting people who are great with customer service, not to mention the great quality for food and not-too-long wait times. The only downside I can name is prices- the food is a tad on the pricey side, but then again, the quality certainly does make up for this. Greatly recommended.

Very nice eat out. I recommend for anyone who loves good food!. The meals are so nice delicious and at the same time very affordable. I’m even surprised they offer delivery. You guys are just perfect.

Food is super good, had a chicken wrap a couple times and jollof also, jerk and fried chicken is amazing and drink selection has a great variety. Very cheap too but quality is still superb. Overall 10/10. Owners are very nice too 👍👍

Top artisan coffee. Top customer service. Top quality food. If there was a cafe tree, Fig + Sparrow would be sat perched on a branch at the very top.

I visited Fig + Sparrow based on the numerous 5* reviews on Google. I came on a Friday at 1pm, and it wasn’t too busy. Perhaps 50% of the place was full. There is a good amount of seating available, and when I arrived, there was a small but delicious-looking selection of pastries and bakes on the counter. There is always a wide variety of drinks available on the menu, and a bar at the back which serves savoury food. I asked the lady if the counter items were baked fresh and if they were vegetarian (halal in my case), and she said they were baked fresh, and suitable for vegetarians and halal foodies! The staff were very inviting. The lady explained what each item was, and she even gave me her personal recommendation. 10/10 for such caring staff :) I ordered a Cinnamon Bun and Latte to eat in. Those buns looked too good to overlook. Also, exceptional presentation of all the bakery items. The Cinnamon Bun was delicious! It was sticky, not too sweet, and full of cinnamon and brown sugar flavour. The Latte was also yummy, and had a lovely pattern on top. Overall, I am very happy I visited Fig + Sparrow, and I will definitely bring my friends next time. This place is too good not to share with others! I would highly recommended this place to those who like coffee shops, and just want to sit and chill :D

Had lovely afternoon tea, maybe should have ordered one to share!! The cafe is quirky but worth a visit. Our only small negative is we wished we had been asked which cake we would like, pistachio is not my thing.

Such a lovely atmosphere and cute vibe. I bring my mom to enjoy the afternoon tea and it was perfect. I loved the scone so much. It was fluffy and perfectly match with cream and jam. I also loved the brunch and rest of the cake and tea as well. Definitely recommend🥰

I recently visited Sugar Junction with a friend, and we had an absolutely delightful experience! 🥰 Lavender Latte ☕️ This was a highlight of my order. The latte had a beautifully subtle floral aroma without being overpowering. The balance of sweetness and lavender notes was spot on, and the creaminess of the milk made it incredibly comforting. It’s definitely a must-try for anyone looking for something unique yet satisfying. Scone with Cream and Jam 🥯 The scone was fresh and had a perfectly crumbly texture that paired excellently with the thick, rich clotted cream and fruity jam. Each bite felt like a little bit of heaven. Ambiance & Service ✨ The cafe itself has such a welcoming and warm atmosphere. The staff was friendly, and attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, Sugar Junction delivered delicious drinks, heavenly scones, and a relaxing ambience on every front. I can’t wait to go back and try more from their menu! Highly recommended. 🌟

Probably one of the best cafes within NQ! I’ve been a regular for almost a year and the service never fails to disappoint! The staff are very friendly and attentive. They serve the best hot chocolates and probably one of the best brownies within Manchester! Would definitely recommend this cafe to anyone.

We enjoyed an excellent breakfast here. I am a vegetarian, and the lady who served us cleaned the whole food preparation area and cooking station before starting my breakfast (as a vegetarian herself). Outstanding and conscientious service, and delicious food!

Great value. I was surprised to see such a good cooked breakfast offer. I had thought this was a competitor to Costa, but it's more of a pared-back caff with a nice finish on the decor. I'm definitely here for it.

Great place to meet in the morning. Affordable, loads of space, chill atmosphere, not usually packed, very surprising for Manchester City centre. The staff are lovely.
