Michael came to fit a new tap and toilet cistern, this was the 3rd job he has done for me, he is punctual, tidy and professional. His work is finished to a very high spec, I'll definitely have him work for me again and I recommend him to anyone.

After finding an overnight leak from our hot water tank we did need help pretty quickly I rang M&R Plumbing & Heating Ltd and they said they had someone in the area and would get him to call. Michael duly arrived, he managed to drain the system for us and was able to leave with our water supply and central heating working while a new tank was ordered. This was fitted by Jake and his assistant who did a really professional and thorough job leaving everything neat and tidy. We also found the office staff were very friendly and helpful. We can't recommend this company enough and would certainly use them for any other jobs.

I have been consistently very happy working with this excellent firm over many years but particularly pleased with Jack Fox today. He had never installed an Inspire Automation Landlord Wireless App Thermostat before and clearly used his expertise with similar systems, many more complicated than Inspire, to efficiently install and commission the product with just one hours Labour time. I can now control my heating and hot water usage from anywhere in the world for my short term guest bookings with a simple boost button for them to use for comfort if still in the property during working hours / weekends!

We choose M&R Plumbing and Heating to fit our new boiler because we wanted a local company that we could deal with face to face and have confidence that the advice prior to fitting and the finished job would suit what we required. Also that the installation would be completed on time and to an excellent standard and post fitting any questions or concerns we had would be dealt with effectively, all within a competitive price. That is exactly what we received. All the way through the home visit to advise on what system we needed through to the completed installation it could not have gone smoother. M&R kept us updated at every stage of the boiler fitting and system reinstatement, effectively managed a few questions and post fitting queries we had and were very professional at all times. I contacted Steve and he managed to create an appointment for me even though he was really busy, to check my mums boiler which was leaking. The boiler was 20 years old so had definitely seen better days. Steve quoted me a great price & my mum had a new boiler fitted within a week by Steve & Josh. What I liked was Steve quoted me for the boiler based on my mums house size not something ridiculous. I didn’t personally meet them but spoke to Steve on the phone a few times and he was great. My mum said they were both lovely & helpful & cleaned up after themselves too. My mum is so happy with the new boiler she now wants them back to install a new radiator in the kitchen. From initial contact, I found Steve to be extremely professional and knowledgeable. He carried out a full survey of my boiler including the external pipework, controller and the water pressure in my property. He spent time fully explaining my options and I felt he was being honest rather than trying to sell me the most expensive product. Steve quoted me for three different boilers and allowed me to make the decision without trying to push me into buying a boiler at additional cost, that I did not need. He understood that I wanted the boiler fitted ASAP and changed his appointments to fit me in at the earliest date. There was something about his manner that convinced me that he would do a great job. Within 48 hours of first meeting Steve, I had a new boiler fitted. On the day of installation, both Steve and Josh turned up on time and set to work. Throughout their time on my property, they acted professionally and worked hard to complete the installation. Both were really friendly and respectful of my house. They fully explained what they were doing, and any issues they had to overcome. They tidied up after themselves and left my property clean. The price quoted was the price I paid. There were no hidden or extra charges. I would not hesitate to use this company again. They are two of the best tradesmen I have used and I can't recommend them highly enough. Joe came same day (within a few hours) to fix a leak to my toilets waste pipe. He got straight to work and replaced an aspect to my waste pipe. He was super professional and didn’t mind a chat whilst doing it. Very down to earth and honest person. The price was very reasonable and my issue was fixed quickly. He tided up everything at the end you would never tell there ever was a leak! I’ve already recommended him to family because it’s so hard to find a decent plumber who won’t charge you the earth and has a quick response time. Absolutely amazing gentleman. Mum called Joe early evening and he came out the following morning. Was supposed to be just a quick leak under the sink, and it turned out to be a couple of hours work. I rang at around 5pm on Monday evening and the person who answered the phone was very helpful and polite. I explained my current situation of the stop tap in my garden being blocked up. This meant I was unable to turn my water off for a plumber coming the next day. Because of my situation, they said they would come to me that night to clean out my stop tap chamber. They came to fix it shortly after our phone call and even stayed after the closing time of the business to ensure the job was done properly. They were polite and made sure I understood what they was doing before starting the job.The price was extremely reasonable and I will certainly be recommending them to any friends and family!

The two people who showed up to fix my leak in my garden couldn’t have been more professional and polite. They turned up on time and were very polite upon arrival. They talked me through everything they were going to be doing, ensured that there was going to be no mess and that the leak would be fixed. They fixed the leak in a timely manner and charged a very reasonable price. I will certainly be recommending them to friends and family and will be using again if anything goes wrong. However it shouldn’t as they seemed to do such a great job!

Dean was brilliant, I contacted him in the morning when he had a busy day and he managed to fit me in that evening. I had tried to do some diy myself and removes some radiators resulting in crimping a copper pipe and putting a hairline fracture in an L bend pipe. Dean was professional in his approach and knew how to fix both problems swiftly. I personally couldn’t recommend him enough. I now know who to contact if I have plumbing issues.

Was having an issue with my washing machine drainage, the plumber came out and checked it and was friendly, had a look at the pipes at the back and discovered technically there wasn't an issue with the washing machine, or only issue could be the pump if connected right and so didn't charge for service but gave me some advice regarding fixing a separate issue. Would happily recommend them, knowledgeable and completely reasonable, if I have any issues I'll absolutely be calling here first

Had an issue on Christmas morning with water coming through the ceiling from the water tank. Dean picked up the message and rang at 9am- guided us on how to isolate the problem while ensuring we still had use of the central heating and mains water until the work was done. Robert is an outstanding plumber. He's always so pleasant to have in the house, does a great job, and goes the extra mile to ensure you’re happy and the place is immaculate afterwards.
