Our boiler broke down over a weekend. An engineer came to look at it and estimated that it was uneconomical to repair and recommended that we consider a replacement. I filled out an online form on the Worcester website and was contacted within 30mins by Lacey Plumbing & Heating. A survey was conducted the following morning to ascertain what was required and a quote for an equivalent modern replacement was sent over a couple of hours later. We were happy with the quote but obviously needed the work to be done ASAP as we had no heating or hot water in DECEMBER! I relayed this to their office and they managed to get the whole job completed within 24hrs. The engineer was extremely good. Not only was the job completed impeccably but the whole area was left spotless, our online controls were reinstated and a full handover and explanations of instructions was carried out before he left. Highly recommended!!

Had a leak under the bath, the office team at Lacey's were very helpful, they had no one available in the morning but called me back the same day when an engineer was available. The engineer was friendly and helpful, investigated the leak thoroughly and gave me some options for a fix, got a new part and fitted it quickly. Problem solved. It can be so hard to find reliable, quality people to work on your home. I'd definitely use Lacey's again.

These guys were recommended to me and I can see why. They helped me through the whole process and helped me choose the right package for me and my home.I had a few quotes for boilers and Laceys were the cheapest by a few hundred and the customer service just made it clear that they had to fit my boiler. Rick was helpful right from the start when my old boiler broke.. He was very prompt in getting back to me and in calling round to assess the situation. He gave me honest and informed advice and put me at ease. I needed a replacement boiler and Rick quoted me a really good price and also arranged his schedule to fit it ASAP as I had no hot water etc. Rick and Lewis did an excellent job and had me back up and running in a couple of days. They were friendly and professional while they carried out the work, which I am very happy with. I would not hesitate to hire them again or to recommend them to friends and family. 👍

Used for 2 jobs now, once for toilet repair and once for installation of a new radiator. Professional job done both times at a very reasonable rate. Extremely happy with the quality of work done and would recommend without hesitation.

I contacted Rick about replacing a shower cubicle for a bath. He called out priced up and fitted the bath within a week. Very happy with the work that was carried out excellent service and would highly recommend.

LW Plumbing quoted for and undertook a complete renewal of our central heating and hot water system. It was a much larger job than had been indicated by other suppliers we contacted but, as they only quoted after a phone conversation we decided to proceed with a local company. The work was started promptly, every member of the large team was knowledgable, professional and friendly and worked hard. In the interests of a balanced review I would I highlight three issues: (i) Lee failed to note that one of our showers had to be replaced in order to work with the new system. The cost of the replacement was however discounted. (ii) Holes made in the plaster ceiling of a cupboard through which pipework was routed were not made good and the plaster not tidied up from the cupboard. (iii) Air continues to collect in the 'sealed' system and the pressure needs to be topped up. A follow up visit to look at this failed to resolve the issue. Hopefully it will be reviewed again and resolved during the annual maintenance visit. With the exception of the above we were generally very happy with the work and the new system is a marked improvement on what we had. It's nice to be able to use a local company and we would certainly recommend them.

I use this company every time I have a plumbing issue and not only do I get a quick response but all the engineers are polite and efficient. Came home to a broken boiler and minus temperatures. Messaged Lee at 9pm on a Friday night and everything was fixed by 9am the next day. 100% recommend. 👍🏻

I needed a gas pipe to be capped and a couple of radiators installed and coupled to the boiler. Mark came in no time and sorted them out without any problem at a fair cost! He's a really great guy and no job is too small for him! Would really use him again and recommend him to others!

This guy is a legend! Just had a new Baxi combi boiler fitted by Mark & to say I’m happy is an understatement ! Took a chance going off google reviews . At every stage I have been impressed …. Initial contact , arrived promptly ( early ) to quote , fantastic communication , flexible on finding a fitting date & arrived on that date ..work carried out clean & neat , covering my stair carpet with no prompting & protecting my bathroom sink . The boiler space is quite a challenge in a tight fitting cupboard but Mark managed this and cleanly did the outside brick work too . All was cleaned up well . He explained the working of the boiler & warranty etc . A very competing price & I would not hesitate to use Mark’s reliable service again . Beyond the call of duty , he also picked up my second hand purchase of a patio table which I couldn’t fit in my car , and placed it in my garden for me . A thoroughly lovely human being .

John installed my new bathroom, he completed the job to a high standard. John was a clean and tidy workman who was helpful and professional. I am really pleased with the quality of work.

I called John to help with a leaking toilet. He called to let me know when he was on his way. The job was done quickly and John clearly explained what the problem was. I asked his advice about another non urgent job and he took a look at it and told me what to do before getting the issue fixed. I will definitely get John back to fix this problem and any others that may arise. He is helpful and polite.

John turned up on time & did a quick repair of the leaking old ball cock on a water header tank in our loft. He was professional & gave us useful advice to avoid similar issues during future freezing temperatures.

I had an issue with my boiler not igniting. I phoned this company. He talked me through the fault and he established the problem. All sorted within a few minutes. He could have come out and charged me for his time but he didn't. Very professional and very honest. I would have no hesitation on using their services again.

Communication throughout the whole process is always clear and consice; from providing an accurate arrival time, to answering questions whilst on site, and clearly detailing what work is being carried out. Workspace is always left clean and tidy and a post work summary provided. It's really refreshing to deal with genuinely good trade people like Mike and his team!

First class job from Mike and his team, I would not hesitate to recommend them. We were looking to change a 25 year old boiler to a more efficient model. I had quotes from a few companies and whilst Mike's was competitive, price alone was not the reason for choosing him to complete the work. Mike initially came out and talked me through the various options in detail, his knowledge of the latest models on the market was obvious, as was the professional way he came across - unlike one of the other companies I got to quote. Mike is involved in the installation personally, his hands on approach gives you confidence in the answers to any questions you raise - rather than sending a 'salesman' who are unable to answer all your queries truthfully. On installation day, Mike and his team of 3 others arrived nice and early. There was a fair amount of work involved, altering pipework, removing hot water cylinder, loft tanks etc. The 4 of them worked tirelessly all day (fuelled by many cups of tea / coffee!). One thing that stood out for me during the installation was the time he took to make sure the younger members of his team fully understood, asking their opinions, all part of an experienced guy wanting to pass that knowledge on.

Excellent service from Mike and his team. Quality work easily arranged from having a new boiler fitted to getting an annual service arranged and completed. Mike will always tell you how it is and run through all the options, not just try and flog you the work that costs the most. A highly reputable company who you can trust to look out for the customers interests. Annual reminders for boiler service as well which are very useful so it’s one less thing to keep track of!!!
