Excellent job of repairing our gas leak. The moment he knew my elderly mother had no heating he rapidly scheduled a visit and came the morning after. Huge recommendation.

First class job from Mike and his team, I would not hesitate to recommend them. We were looking to change a 25 year old boiler to a more efficient model. I had quotes from a few companies and whilst Mike's was competitive, price alone was not the reason for choosing him to complete the work. Mike initially came out and talked me through the various options in detail, his knowledge of the latest models on the market was obvious, as was the professional way he came across - unlike one of the other companies I got to quote. Mike is involved in the installation personally, his hands on approach gives you confidence in the answers to any questions you raise - rather than sending a 'salesman' who are unable to answer all your queries truthfully. On installation day, Mike and his team of 3 others arrived nice and early. There was a fair amount of work involved, altering pipework, removing hot water cylinder, loft tanks etc. The 4 of them worked tirelessly all day (fuelled by many cups of tea / coffee!). One thing that stood out for me during the installation was the time he took to make sure the younger members of his team fully understood, asking their opinions, all part of an experienced guy wanting to pass that knowledge on.

Communication throughout the whole process is always clear and consice; from providing an accurate arrival time, to answering questions whilst on site, and clearly detailing what work is being carried out. Workspace is always left clean and tidy and a post work summary provided. It's really refreshing to deal with genuinely good trade people like Mike and his team!

I had an issue with my boiler not igniting. I phoned this company. He talked me through the fault and he established the problem. All sorted within a few minutes. He could have come out and charged me for his time but he didn't. Very professional and very honest. I would have no hesitation on using their services again.

Mike and his team did a great job fitting a brand new boiler in our house. Communication was great and the team were all super professional. I could tell he was very experienced by the direction and information he was giving to his team. Mike made sure all the TRVs were in the best location, the wooden box panels surrounding the boiler were cut in the most aesthetic way, and ensured that I had full understanding of the controls and boiler app before they left. Very efficient, quality workmanship and £700 cheaper than those clowns at British Gas. I would definitely recommend, and shall certainly be contacting them for any future plumbing issues.

Mark came and sorted our plumbing issue out within a couple of days, he arrived on time and when he said he would, I would definitely use Mark again.

This guy is a legend! Just had a new Baxi combi boiler fitted by Mark & to say I’m happy is an understatement ! Took a chance going off google reviews . At every stage I have been impressed …. Initial contact , arrived promptly ( early ) to quote , fantastic communication , flexible on finding a fitting date & arrived on that date ..work carried out clean & neat , covering my stair carpet with no prompting & protecting my bathroom sink . The boiler space is quite a challenge in a tight fitting cupboard but Mark managed this and cleanly did the outside brick work too . All was cleaned up well . He explained the working of the boiler & warranty etc . A very competing price & I would not hesitate to use Mark’s reliable service again . Beyond the call of duty , he also picked up my second hand purchase of a patio table which I couldn’t fit in my car , and placed it in my garden for me . A thoroughly lovely human being .

I can highly recommend Mark, his work and effort are excellent. He is very experienced and knowledgeable. Mark has done many jobs for me, as I install kitchens. He will go the more difficult route for him to get the best result for the customer. He is very approachable and friendly. Due to these attributes I have used Marks services for 3 years since we met and I continue , knowing the job will be right .

I have been using James for nearly 4 to 5 years to repair a leaking toilet cistern and another time in 2023 to replace a dripping kitchen tap. Once I asked him if he could dispose my dishwasher and moved the tumble dryer to that vacant space. He didn't mind doing that small jobs and was very helpful. Today he came to replace a dripping kitchen tap of my other property. I have recommended him to my neighbour and family member. The price he charged was very good and affordable. Had a leak under the bath, the office team at Lacey's were very helpful, they had no one available in the morning but called me back the same day when an engineer was available. The engineer was friendly and helpful, investigated the leak thoroughly and gave me some options for a fix, got a new part and fitted it quickly. Problem solved. It can be so hard to find reliable, quality people to work on your home. I'd definitely use Lacey's again.

I called John to help with a leaking toilet. He called to let me know when he was on his way. The job was done quickly and John clearly explained what the problem was. I asked his advice about another non urgent job and he took a look at it and told me what to do before getting the issue fixed. I will definitely get John back to fix this problem and any others that may arise. He is helpful and polite.

We called John as an emergency and he said he’d phone 10 minutes before he could arrive and he did. It’s the small things that make all the difference. The boiler was intermittent but didn’t know exactly what was wrong, John solved the issue and persevered on a Friday afternoon and early evening, to ensure we weren’t without heating. I took a risk because I'd never used this service before but was desperately in need of a plumber. The engineer was efficient and honest, provided good workmanship and was a gentleman, too. Highly recommended.

Rick was helpful right from the start when my old boiler broke.. He was very prompt in getting back to me and in calling round to assess the situation. He gave me honest and informed advice and put me at ease. I needed a replacement boiler and Rick quoted me a really good price and also arranged his schedule to fit it ASAP as I had no hot water etc. Rick and Lewis did an excellent job and had me back up and running in a couple of days.
