Matthew is highly skilled, professional, and goes out of his way to help. Matthew replaced our boiler in November, after it completely broke down on us! He worked quickly, efficiently and tidily, which is really important as we work from home. An excellent job. He also popped back to replace the kitchen tap at short notice, just before Christmas. Matthew responded promptly when I requested a quotation to replace an old combi boiler and replace some inadequate pipework. He visited the property soon afterwards and spent more than an hour surveying the situation, listening to my concerns about the existing heating and plumbing and advising regards my requirements. There was no rush, no hard sell, just clear information, professional advice and choices to consider. He gave a clear indication of the lead-in time and the expected timespan for the work. When asked he had no hesitation in telling me his current charge for annual boiler service. Prior to his visit I had surveys and quotations from other installers. In fact some of them never even quoted, presumably because of the complexity of the work. I had no doubt after his visit that Matthew was my preferred installer even before his quotation arrived. I was pleased when his quotation was the most competitive. Follow-on communications by phone, text and emails were timely and reassuring. The new boiler is the Ideal Vogue Max 26kW with the added option of an integrated Ideal Halo interface with a Smart room Thermostat giving Wi-Fi and remote control as well as manual control. The boiler has a 12 year warranty. It is very quiet and efficient for central heating and hot water. The work was carried out in a professional and courteous manner. Thorough testing revealed a leaking isolating gas valve for the hob. Matthew replaced this immediately with a new valve from the van and he also replaced a seal on a radiator. Matthew is not rushed and takes pride in his workmanship. I am very pleased with his work and happy to recommend him.

We've just had a new Ideal Max Vogue fitted by Matt and improved pipe work from the meter. As others have said Matt visited promptly when we inquired about probably needing a new boiler and took his time to assess properly if a new boiler was needed, no hard sell at all. Quote very competitive. Matt clearly takes careful pride in his work - pipe work soo much better than what was done previously. Would recommend.

Had a leak under the bath, the office team at Lacey's were very helpful, they had no one available in the morning but called me back the same day when an engineer was available. The engineer was friendly and helpful, investigated the leak thoroughly and gave me some options for a fix, got a new part and fitted it quickly. Problem solved. It can be so hard to find reliable, quality people to work on your home. I'd definitely use Lacey's again.

Our boiler broke down over a weekend. An engineer came to look at it and estimated that it was uneconomical to repair and recommended that we consider a replacement. I filled out an online form on the Worcester website and was contacted within 30mins by Lacey Plumbing & Heating. A survey was conducted the following morning to ascertain what was required and a quote for an equivalent modern replacement was sent over a couple of hours later. We were happy with the quote but obviously needed the work to be done ASAP as we had no heating or hot water in DECEMBER! I relayed this to their office and they managed to get the whole job completed within 24hrs. The engineer was extremely good. Not only was the job completed impeccably but the whole area was left spotless, our online controls were reinstated and a full handover and explanations of instructions was carried out before he left. Highly recommended!!

I have been consistently very happy working with this excellent firm over many years but particularly pleased with Jack Fox today. He had never installed an Inspire Automation Landlord Wireless App Thermostat before and clearly used his expertise with similar systems, many more complicated than Inspire, to efficiently install and commission the product with just one hours Labour time. I can now control my heating and hot water usage from anywhere in the world for my short term guest bookings with a simple boost button for them to use for comfort if still in the property during working hours / weekends!

After finding an overnight leak from our hot water tank we did need help pretty quickly I rang M&R Plumbing & Heating Ltd and they said they had someone in the area and would get him to call. Michael duly arrived, he managed to drain the system for us and was able to leave with our water supply and central heating working while a new tank was ordered. This was fitted by Jake and his assistant who did a really professional and thorough job leaving everything neat and tidy. We also found the office staff were very friendly and helpful. We can't recommend this company enough and would certainly use them for any other jobs.

A very professional and reliable company. Ryan, Scott and Theo have just replaced my 87 year old Mum's boiler. They were so kind and considerate to my Mum as not easy coping with such upheaval at that age. Such clean workers, wearing overshoes when inside and covering carpets and hard flooring. Ryan spent time explaining to my Mum how the new boiler and control pad worked and told us to phone him if she needed him to explain further. The ladies in the office are always very helpful and keep us informed of timescales. My family would not use any other plumbers other than Martindales. Brilliant service from a wonderful team of people. Can't thank and praise them enough.

Superb job. Marley did a great job and was patient with my questions etc. Had issue with boiler, MCR Gas came out, said it was unsafe and returned the following week to fit new boiler. Full day job from Marley who was superb all day. Great lad, pleasant and hard working. Was back by 9am the morning after to finish off some pipe work and help with a thermostat issue. I was previously with a different boiler company and had nothing but problems, I messaged Chris 9am and by 7pm he was at mine checking the issues I had, explained to me what was wrong and sent us an estimate to get it all fixed, we booked him the following day and he arrived back a matter of days later where he sorted out our issue and completed our service that needed doing! We can't thank him enough, after a long 4 years with our previous company we are so glad to have moved and found Chris and this company, we most certainly will be recommending others to us MCR Gas!

New boiler looks great and we have decent heating and water pressure for the first time since we moved in 4 years ago. Outstanding Gas Boiler Installation Service I recently had a new gas boiler installed, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. From start to finish, the process was smooth and stress-free. I echo the positive words of the previous review by Mr Gwilliam. Tony took us through all the options from replacing our old boiler to buying a new one. Absolutely no pressure but just great advice. We decided to buy a new boiler. Tony kept us up to date all the way through the purchase and installation, and gave us great post installation service as well. He fitted us in to his diary at our most convenient time. He also came to see us late in the evening, understanding I generally don’t get home from work until late and so not around during the day to chat. We were blown away by how neat all the work was, and the clean up after installation was immaculate. We will use him again without a second thought, and would recommend him to you too. Thanks Tony.

Following a recommendation from another heating engineer I had a new Baxi Combi Boiler fitted by Tony in February 2017. The whole process from quote to fitting was accompanied by some of the best customer communication I have received from any company. Tony called or texted me at each point in the process and I felt fully informed and in control at all times. If you have experience of dealing with plumbers you will know that they can be unreliable and uncommunicative Tony was the opposite, he arrived as promised, calling me the day before the fitting to confirm & then on the day to give me an ETA. Subsequent to the fitting of the boiler & a replacement thermostatic radiator valve a small leak appeared on the valve connection, Tony arranged to return & corrected the problem again phoning me at each point in the process to keep me up to date. The result was a stress free process and I would like to thank Tony & AB plumbing for the professionalism of the service. I would recommend Tony Mr R Gwilliam
