If you're looking for an excellent plumber who's reliable, thorough, punctual and knowledgeable, then Neil's your man. Neil came to fit a new boiler in our house and he changed all the radiators. He went 'over and above' to ensure that our piping was up to date and fit for a new heating system. Our house had water tanks in the loft and an immersion heater in the bathroom and Neil removed these just in time to prevent considerable water damage. He also removed all the old, unnecessary piping and other bits that I knew nothing about! He was a gift to us as a family and we can't thank him enough for all his work. He is a very friendly, kind and approachable person and I would recommend him to anyone needing plumbing work done to their property. Our house is now much warmer, looks nicer and his work has given us peace of mind that we now have an efficient heating system. Thank you Neil.

We needed a new boiler and some work done to the existing radiators - he came and spent time with us discussing what options would work best for us - no pressure, and in fact he suggested more economical ways of doing things. The quote was very fair, he came when he said he would, left our flat immaculate (you really wouldn't have known they'd been) and made sure we knew how to work everything. First had Johnny last year to service my boiler, he also serviced my gas fire, he is very good, he told me about my roof when he checked my chimney and he was right, he has also fixed my toilet, and my shower, and then I had a fault with my boiler and he fixed that to. He is polite and friendly and doesn't leave a mess, and his costs are reasonable, so if you need a plumber who knows what he's doing give him a call.

I was in a sticky situation having come home from hospital with a newborn baby and only one radiator working. British Gas came out under our homecare cover and diagnosed that it was the pipes that were blocked somewhere and they would all need replacing at a cost of £1700. I called a few local numbers who said they would get back to me before not bothering. I then called Ryan who said that he would come round tomorrow at 12 to have a look. True to his word Ryan arrived, had a look at what was wrong, managed to find the problem pipe and fit me in around other work the next day to sort it, charging less than a fifth of what British Gas wanted. Ryan will be the first person I call should I have heating problems the next time and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to my friends and family.

We are a community sports club in Cheadle Hulme, with Rugby, Cricket and Squash. For the last 10 years we have been trying to find a company to de-commission our 60 year old oil boilers and update our heating and shower system, with controllable zones etc. in October 22 we lost one of the oil burners, so were down too one burner to run the whole club with very few remaining spare parts etc. After talking to many companies nobody would touch it, until we were recommended Eric Entwistle's by a member. John wasn't phased by the challenge, he put together a design, installation plan, timeline (as we needed to be operational very quickly) and budget. The job was very complex and they came across many unknown issues throughout the installation. We had two large LPG condensing boilers installed, new piping and zone controls on the heating. The job was completed in July 23 and came in on time, (we were only without hot water for 3 weeks), on budget and now we have gone from having the worst showers in the League with a maximum of 20mins water to having hot powerful showers with water on demand. Our heating is saving the club a large amount of money as it is now zoned and temperature controlled. John and his team were very very creative in solving the numerous problems we had and unearthed, and were quick to come back and solve any snags. They have also been back to install new showers and heating for a recent extension to the property and that also works very well from the same system. We couldn't recommend them more.

We built our house from scratch in 2018 and Entwistle Plumbing & Heating did a full installation from start to finish. I can not recommend them highly enough and to this day anytime I have any issue at all they come out to resolve immediately.

Entwistle's completely re-installed our central heating system nearly ten years ago (new oil fired boiler, pipework, separate thermostats on two floors, solar thermal system) and for every year since, they have returned to perform annual maintenance and service on the boiler. We cannot speak high enough of the responsiveness and professionalism when it comes to working with Entwistle's, and we would not hesitate to use them again in the future.
