I've known Shakila for over a year and am a loyal customer. She is absolutely amazing at what she does (gel nails and lash lift and tint today) but it's also generally an amazing person. She goes above and beyond and looked after me during a really difficult time. I'm now planning on working through her list of treatments and would recommend her to anyone who asks.

Shakila has been helping me with the regrowth of my nails. I have been a nail biter for over 40 years and she has helped me grow my nails, promoting strength in them. Also has been really flexible, knowing that the temptation to bite them is there. (Lol 😂 )She will find the time for me x thanks Shakila

Cannot recommend highly enough! Always made to feel special, Always time for a natter, even brought my favourite tea bags for me . Does a great job of my nails and eyebrows. Wouldn't even think of going else . Highly recommended!! Xx I consider Shakila a friend.

Lucas is super friendly and hilarious. I was a little wary of trying a new nail tech after I moved into the area but Lucus does a fab job and I wouldn't go anywhere else now. I've also had my brows laminated and i LOVE them 😍💕

Lucas is top notch. I've been for sports massages a few times now with different issues and he's done an exceptional job. I went with a pulled back that he sorted in one sitting. He talked me through everything and explained the recovery times and what was going to happen and he was spot on. My favourite thing has to be how genuine he is. I've been for a lot of sports massages and even chiropractors in the passed and I've always felt like they try to help without fully fixing the problem so you have to go back. This is not the case here though, Lucas doesn't mess about and does his best to fix the problem and explains the steps I should take if it doesn't work. He genuinely cares and wants you to get better, rather than just trying to rinse you for money. Very professional and friendly and very knowledgeable about his work. Would highly recommend Body Fixers!

This salon is situated just at the bottom of market st, inside is well kept and modern. This has been in the same hands for many many years, I had my prom hair done here 11 years ago! My son had his first hair cut here and it went really well as the staff are always friendly and patient and the prices are good. There are carparks at the back or you can park at b and m and take a walk over its very close

This was my first time at Melissa Timperly, and my stylist Megan was brilliant. She was so lovely to chat with and did an outstanding job with my hair. I hadn’t had my hair coloured in years, and I wanted something that would be easy to maintain and blend naturally with my own colour, and she was spot on. I also went for a big change with a much shorter cut. I’m always a bit nervous about finding the right hairdresser because my hair has a mix of curl textures, but Megan handled them beautifully. I’m thrilled with my new cut and colour—absolutely loving it! I’ll definitely be coming back here for my next haircut. Thanks Megan!

I'm just back from Melissa Timperley. Read my review here. My visit to the salon is always such a lovely experience. The staff are all lovely and the atmosphere is so relaxing. My last two visits I had my hair cut and coloured by Hamish… an absolute genius with the scissors! I have never seen anyone cut a fringe like he does. I always leave the salon loving my cut and colour when Hamish has done it. He fully takes the time to listen to exactly what i want and takes it step by step to keep checking that im happy with the progress. I really appreciate that he spends time with my fringe to get it just right as not many people have done it exactly how i want it…. extremely talented Stylist! Julee

It was my first time at the Salon Harvey Taylor and they made me feel so welcome , i felt at home let Paula work her magic she was very professional and knew how to get the cut i needed because my hair is half grey and half blonde so we decided to cut as much of the blonde off , it feels healthier than ever and thicker I came out feeling a million dollars , will be going back in the new year ladies

I've been going here for years, everyone is so welcoming. My stylist, Emma has absolutely transformed my hair. She is very knowledgeable and is a master at her craft. She gave me good honest advice when I wanted to change my hair colour. She has an amazing way of balancing your desired look with keeping the health of your hair in focus. A great salon, all stylists are friendly and professional, it’s like having a brew with friends whilst getting your hair done. Abbey is an amazing stylist! I went in for a complete change and a pamper after not long having my daughter and she did exactly what I wanted, made me feel myself again with amazing hair. I went to Abbey for the first time after relocating to Hyde from Bury recently. She was so lovely and welcoming, felt like I’d known her years which was lovely. I had biab nails, they look amazing. Abbey recreated the design I wanted and gave me colour options etc. Couldn't be happier that not only did I find a nail tech closer to my new home, I actually preferred my experience with Abbey than my previous nail tech back in Bury. Can’t wait for our next appointment 🤩

I have been using Abbey for almost 5years! I have my nails and toes done once a month and my eyelashes done every two weeks and my makeup done for every occasion!
