I have used 1st construction a number of times, the job is always carried out to the highest standard and they always leave everthing very clean and tidy when they have both finished the job in full or just for the day

We had a great experience using 1st Construction. They took on our partly completed project and completed it with no fuss. Craig and Thomas were great, and accommodated the things we wanted. We are really grateful for all their hard work, which they completed when they said they would. We are happy with our completed single storey extension.

Lukasz was fantastic from start to finish, he has done an amazing job, even with us adding extra tasks on. The bathroom looks gorgeous and all work is to a high standard. The house was kept clean and tidy throughout the job and his prices are very reasonable. Would recommend and would use again. Will add a photo when we have painted.

I needed help to get a range of joinery, painting and decorating work done as I only had one day off. The home handyman happily worked alongside me for one day, and was punctual, pleasant and trustworthy. He happily took on the jobs I found most difficult which involved ladders, a steady hand and or powertools. A variety of jobs all done efficiently and to a really high standard. Very experienced and a pragmatic problem solver. Very highly recommended !

David is an excellent handyman and a consummate professional. He cleaned the flaking paint off my decking, re-painted and re-stained it quickly and with no fuss. He did a great job but rain came shortly afterwards - when I asked him back to apply another coat, he did so promptly and willingly. Extremely polite, courteous and communicates well. Johan was very prompt in responding to my request and skilled in many areas. I requested him to decorate my downstairs loo. He made me a bespoke boxing in of pipework which was removable incase of any future plumbing problems, with tiling and decor. I was pleased with all his work and although I thought his day rate was high once I considered the skill and time involved I realised this was a fair price for the work undertaken. He did also give me a time frame in which it would be completed minimum to maximum which is unusual for workmen. This took him 2 days and am pleased with the result.

I chose Johan because of his great reviews - and they are all well deserved. I needed a new front door fitting into the existing frame with new fixtures and fittings. Fitted a medium sized Wardrobe in the boys' room. Done a fantastic job, and I would say he was very reasonably priced. Well organised and cleaned up after the build. He even popped down at no extra charge when one of the latches needed a slight adjustment. Overall, a good job well done.
