I recently got a balayage done by Lilly, and she was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the whole process. Initially, the color wasn't exactly what I had envisioned, but the owner Aggela was very understanding and offered to have it retouched. Lilly took great care of me once again and this time I’m really happy with how my hair turned out and I’ll definitely be coming :))

I am a demanding old Karen and know a good haircut when I see it having been to some of London's top salons. Moving to Manchester, I did find one excellent hairdresser who promptly hightailed it to Dubai. In the interim, my hair grew to almost waist length as I searched through reviews, reading through the lines, and found Melissa Timperley and, by accident Joe. I can honestly say this is joint first in the chart of the best haircuts I've ever had (and I was modelling in the 1970's). Joe listened to me and what I wanted and gave me the perfect cut. Importantly, a good five months after the cut and style, I can do what I want with my naturally curly hair and it looks good. Utterly delighted!

I had a great experience recently with Megan during my first visit to Melissa Timperley - she took the time to listen and understood exactly what I wanted to achieve while 'growing out' a shorter cut. She clearly explained the various options and regularly discussed things with me as she progressed with cutting and styling. I felt confident enough to book my next appointment with her before leaving the salon, which is something I never normally do. Thank you Megan!

I visited McCrory Hair for the first time in January and it was brilliant! Seamus was so knowledgable and really took the time to listen to me and teach me how to look after my curly hair and gave me advice on improving its condition. He did a fab cut and I was really pleased with it! I’ll definitely be back!

Short version, met and exceeded all my expectations. Long version, my experience up till now in regards to hair salons has been somewhat mixed. In general, the feeling I normally get is a high level of confidence, which tends to result in the final result being good, just not what I desired/expected. At McCrory, I believe I saw Kalaya for a restyle. In reference to my earlier point, it's not that Kalaya lacked confidence, far from it. But what I felt I got was a much higher level of care than what I'm used to receiving elsewhere. She was so meticulous and precise and took her time checking in with me, whether I was happy with the progress and result, and it made a world of difference. Beyond that, the salon was clean and aesthetic, everyone was lovely and welcoming, and as requested I was advised a day/time where the salon is less busy, so I felt accommodated and not overwhelmed by crowds of people, something I often struggle with. I'm very grateful, and look forward to booking again to refresh my beautiful cut

The whole team is incredibly welcoming and friendly, making every visit a great experience. I can’t recommend McCrory Hair enough!

I can't believe what magic Seamus worked on my curls today. Best cut I've ever had, and he talked me through various techniques to tame my hair and get the most out of my curls so I can't wait to try these at home. Already looking forward to going back!

I’ve just done my haircut with Crystal and she was lovely, friendly and professional. She put so much effort into my hair and took the time to explain all the things I can do at home to help maintain it. Couldn’t recommend her enough!

Came in today and had my hair done by Lucy, she was so sweet and did such an amazing job! The whole process took about 6 hours (I have a lot of hair) and she took so much care and attention to detail throughout, consistently made sure I was happy with it. I had a full head balayage, toner, cut and finish (you can book this all as one service, price varies slightly depending on whether you get a Stylist/ Senior Stylist) and added on an olaplex treatment on top of that. The total came to £165 - no hidden add on charges (cough cough Rush) and I had the option to pay before or after. I’ve never paid less than £200 for a balayage, never mind having a cut thrown in as well. It looks and feels absolutely gorgeous (see pic) I definitely won’t be going elsewhere when I need my hair done! Thank you Lucy and New Church House 🫶🏻

Razia is so caring, i missed my way and was late for appointment. She sent me one of her team to pick me up. She welcomed me and directly started my straightening treatment. She is an expert, she knows what she is doing. She told me i can see that you had keratin about 4 months back which is so true. . She gave me all instructions needed and the results were even more than i have expected. I had the treatment before in different country and i can assure she is a professional in her job.This lady should be celebrated. I will definitely go back there. I had an excellent experience at Bonton hair salon by Razia and her team with the japanese permanent hair straightening I had. My hair has always been curly and very thick and this treatment has made my hair straight and smooth, excellent results were achieved which I was amazed of how straight it is now. Went in for the first time and was met with Dominik and Jacob, both absolute sweethearts. Dominik was phenomenal, he was kind and patient when explaining what hairstyle would suit me best - exactly what you want from your hairdresser. I have short hair and usually it's hard to get right, but he made it look fantastic!! Couldn't be happier, I'm happy to see a hairdresser who cuts your hair with so much detail, like they're cutting their own. Jacob was a sweetheart as well, he washed my hair delicately and we had a great chat. Looking forward to coming back and seeing these two!

Had my hair cut by Sou and I’m so happy with how it looks! Very reasonable prices, she gives honest advice and talks you through everything she’s doing which is really helpful. I have thick and curly hair (not easy to cut!) so if you do too, go to Sou !

I had a haircut and eyebrows done today. I must say Sue is fantastic hairdresser. I showed her pictures of what I wanted and she did exactly same. Very happy with my haircut and eyebrows. As a student, I found it quite affordable. So glad to have found this place.

Had a wonderful experience in my colouring session. I went there for my appointment with my baby, they gave me a private quite room so that me and my baby had privacy during the whole session. The lady dasty who did my hair colour was a very wonderful lady, did exactly the same colour which I showed her in the picture. All the staffs including the honour were very nice and warm. They all made sure that I dont face any problem with my baby. I highly recommend the salon because of their good work and behaviour. Cant be happy enough!! Keep up the good work team!

Ian, Kenny and Daniel are all very professional hair stylists. I satisfied with my hair cut a lot with the help of Ian. I believe next time I can give her a try on a more difficult one even my hair is a bit thin. Kenny was so considerate to ask me ahead for the opinions to confirm my boys’ hairstyle. Daniel did a great job on my partner’s hairstyle as well which my partner was very satisfied. They are very nice and make you feel comfortable with to have your haircut there. Fast and perfect time control for us all to have haircut at the same time.
