Had a haircut with Lauren (Laurenslocks_manchester on instagram) and had the best experience! I have just moved to manc and wasn't sure where to go for a haircut and I am glad I booked Lauren. She could fit me in quickly for the next weekend (lifesaver for a 9-5 work pattern) and also kept to the time duration she said the haircut would be- which was helpful in keeping to plans after the haircut. Lauren is lovely and makes you feel at ease; asking you if she can touch your hair, asking for inspiration photos for how you want your hair to look, and offering advice for which styles would suit you! I am feeling funky and fresh- 10/10 recommend! :)

I had my hair cut & styled by Oliver yesterday and it was such a great experience!! He gave me exactly what I asked for and I love my new hair !! 10/10 service throughout :)

Came in today and had my hair done by Lucy, she was so sweet and did such an amazing job! The whole process took about 6 hours (I have a lot of hair) and she took so much care and attention to detail throughout, consistently made sure I was happy with it. I had a full head balayage, toner, cut and finish (you can book this all as one service, price varies slightly depending on whether you get a Stylist/ Senior Stylist) and added on an olaplex treatment on top of that. The total came to £165 - no hidden add on charges (cough cough Rush) and I had the option to pay before or after. I’ve never paid less than £200 for a balayage, never mind having a cut thrown in as well. It looks and feels absolutely gorgeous (see pic) I definitely won’t be going elsewhere when I need my hair done! Thank you Lucy and New Church House 🫶🏻

Amazing place!! I can’t fault this salon, they went above and beyond, I am post partum and came in with my baby (I rang in advance and he’s super quiet and well-behaved). They confirmed it was ok and I had such a wonderful time and absolutely loved my hair. Really outstanding service. Thank you!

I recently got a balayage done by Lilly, and she was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the whole process. Initially, the color wasn't exactly what I had envisioned, but the owner Aggela was very understanding and offered to have it retouched. Lilly took great care of me once again and this time I’m really happy with how my hair turned out and I’ll definitely be coming :))

Had my hair cut by Sou and I’m so happy with how it looks! Very reasonable prices, she gives honest advice and talks you through everything she’s doing which is really helpful. I have thick and curly hair (not easy to cut!) so if you do too, go to Sou !

I had a haircut and eyebrows done today. I must say Sue is fantastic hairdresser. I showed her pictures of what I wanted and she did exactly same. Very happy with my haircut and eyebrows. As a student, I found it quite affordable. So glad to have found this place.

Walked in to see if I could get a quick haircut. Really accommodating and slotted me in between other bookings. My hair was in terrible condition after years of dying it and daily swimming. Had it chopped into a short bob. Really great cut, great advice, professional, great price. 5* highly recommended. Went in feeling embarrassed and came out feeling a million dollars. Will definitely take the advice given and return.

Carole provided an excellent consultation, carefully explaining the best length for my hair based on its texture and offering great styling and maintenance tips. Her expertise and skill truly stand out, and I highly recommend her! Had a wonderful experience in my colouring session. I went there for my appointment with my baby, they gave me a private quite room so that me and my baby had privacy during the whole session. The lady dasty who did my hair colour was a very wonderful lady, did exactly the same colour which I showed her in the picture. All the staffs including the honour were very nice and warm. They all made sure that I dont face any problem with my baby. I highly recommend the salon because of their good work and behaviour. Cant be happy enough!! Keep up the good work team!

I had a great experience recently with Megan during my first visit to Melissa Timperley - she took the time to listen and understood exactly what I wanted to achieve while 'growing out' a shorter cut. She clearly explained the various options and regularly discussed things with me as she progressed with cutting and styling. I am a demanding old Karen and know a good haircut when I see it having been to some of London's top salons. Moving to Manchester, I did find one excellent hairdresser who promptly hightailed it to Dubai. In the interim, my hair grew to almost waist length as I searched through reviews, reading through the lines, and found Melissa Timperley and, by accident Joe. I can honestly say this is joint first in the chart of the best haircuts I've ever had (and I was modelling in the 1970's). Joe listened to me and what I wanted and gave me the perfect cut. Importantly, a good five months after the cut and style, I can do what I want with my naturally curly hair and it looks good. Utterly delighted!

I got the Japanese Hair Straightening treatment and the results were insane! I have naturally curly afro hair and the picture taken was 72 hours after the treatment having not touched it at all, I couldn't be happier! All the ladies were really nice and made you feel welcome would definitely recommend this salon🤩 thank you I will be back again for my retouch!

I had an excellent experience at Bonton hair salon by Razia and her team with the japanese permanent hair straightening I had. My hair has always been curly and very thick and this treatment has made my hair straight and smooth, excellent results were achieved which I was amazed of how straight it is now. Speechless really. 5 star is not a enough to rate this place. I rarely do a review but since i phoned to take an appointment i felt i should go directly to review this place as endless stars. Razia is so caring, i missed my way and was late for appointment. She sent me one of her team to pick me up. She welcomed me and directly started my straightening treatment. She is an expert, she knows what she is doing. She told me i can see that you had keratin about 4 months back which is so true. . She gave me all instructions needed and the results were even more than i have expected. I had the treatment before in different country and i can assure she is a professional in her job.This lady should be celebrated. I will definitely go back there. Went in for the first time and was met with Dominik and Jacob, both absolute sweethearts. Dominik was phenomenal, he was kind and patient when explaining what hairstyle would suit me best - exactly what you want from your hairdresser. I have short hair and usually it's hard to get right, but he made it look fantastic!! Couldn't be happier, I'm happy to see a hairdresser who cuts your hair with so much detail, like they're cutting their own. Jacob was a sweetheart as well, he washed my hair delicately and we had a great chat. Looking forward to coming back and seeing these two!

Short version, met and exceeded all my expectations. Long version, my experience up till now in regards to hair salons has been somewhat mixed. In general, the feeling I normally get is a high level of confidence, which tends to result in the final result being good, just not what I desired/expected. At McCrory, I believe I saw Kalaya for a restyle. In reference to my earlier point, it's not that Kalaya lacked confidence, far from it. But what I felt I got was a much higher level of care than what I'm used to receiving elsewhere. She was so meticulous and precise and took her time checking in with me, whether I was happy with the progress and result, and it made a world of difference. Beyond that, the salon was clean and aesthetic, everyone was lovely and welcoming, and as requested I was advised a day/time where the salon is less busy, so I felt accommodated and not overwhelmed by crowds of people, something I often struggle with. I'm very grateful, and look forward to booking again to refresh my beautiful cut

I visited McCrory Hair for the first time in January and it was brilliant! I was at Zara today for colouring my hair and the service was excellent. From the moment I called them for appointment till I step out from the salon everyone was simply great. Especially Bahar, the hairdresser done a good job. She even explained how to look after my frizzy hair in a professional way.
