I had the pleasure of meeting Natasha today!First time walking into a hair salon in a while ! I’m usually super anxious and find the experience can be overwhelming sometimes. However going in with no expectations and walking out feeling like I’ve got my spark back has change my whole outlook. All thanks to a beautiful team at James Roberts. It was lovely to have Natasha be excited for your hair journey, make your hair look like a dream and also have a laugh with! It was a gorgeous experience inside and out! Couldn’t recommend enough ! I’ve been going to McCrory Hair for years, and Seamus consistently does an amazing job. He takes his time to ensure everything is perfect and is such a pleasure to chat with. I had made a group booking for myself, bridesmaids, mum and grandma to have a wash & blowdry before my wedding. Seamus and his team took such wonderful care of us, teas, coffees and glasses of fizz. Each stylist did a brilliant job at giving everyone what they wanted. It was such an enjoyable experience and I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks so much to you all.

I visited McCrory Hair for the first time in January and it was brilliant! Seamus was so knowledgable and really took the time to listen to me and teach me how to look after my curly hair and gave me advice on improving its condition. He did a fab cut and I was really pleased with it! I’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful salon. Helpful friendly staff will cater to all your needs. Very talented and knowledgeable in all areas. Very welcoming, lovely cakes and drinks, presented lovely. Aj is amazing at makeup. All the hair staff are very well qualified and can do anything you ask of them.

I booked in for a last minute appointment with Cheri and went for a cat eye BIAB. Cheri was lovely and attentive, and did an amazing job! She checked in with me throughout the appointment to make sure I was happy with everything including shape, length and colour. I’ll definitely be back.

From the minute you walk in until the end the service you get is amazing! Lovey staff and amazing work. And the salon is so beautiful as well! You also have a cute cafe in there for any coffee lovers! ❤️

Had a wonderful experience in my colouring session. I went there for my appointment with my baby, they gave me a private quite room so that me and my baby had privacy during the whole session. The lady dasty who did my hair colour was a very wonderful lady, did exactly the same colour which I showed her in the picture. All the staffs including the honour were very nice and warm. They all made sure that I dont face any problem with my baby. I highly recommend the salon because of their good work and behaviour. Cant be happy enough!! Keep up the good work team!

Very good experience here, arrived a little early and was seen straight away. They took great care of asking me exactly what I wanted. Enjoyable service and time, got served tea and Brazilian snacks. Will return again!

I wanted a hair transformation and opted for a long bob haircut. Carole provided an excellent consultation, carefully explaining the best length for my hair based on its texture and offering great styling and maintenance tips. Her expertise and skill truly stand out, and I highly recommend her! She also did an incredible hair treatment that made an immediate difference—my hair looked noticeably healthier, shinier, and more vibrant. What I appreciated most was her attention to detail and commitment to ensuring I was completely happy and satisfied before I left the salon. An amazing experience overall Thank you for the entire team who works there.

Had a haircut with Lauren (Laurenslocks_manchester on instagram) and had the best experience! I have just moved to manc and wasn't sure where to go for a haircut and I am glad I booked Lauren. She could fit me in quickly for the next weekend (lifesaver for a 9-5 work pattern) and also kept to the time duration she said the haircut would be- which was helpful in keeping to plans after the haircut. Lauren is lovely and makes you feel at ease; asking you if she can touch your hair, asking for inspiration photos for how you want your hair to look, and offering advice for which styles would suit you! I am feeling funky and fresh- 10/10 recommend! :)

Came in today and had my hair done by Lucy, she was so sweet and did such an amazing job! The whole process took about 6 hours (I have a lot of hair) and she took so much care and attention to detail throughout, consistently made sure I was happy with it. I had a full head balayage, toner, cut and finish (you can book this all as one service, price varies slightly depending on whether you get a Stylist/ Senior Stylist) and added on an olaplex treatment on top of that. The total came to £165 - no hidden add on charges (cough cough Rush) and I had the option to pay before or after. I’ve never paid less than £200 for a balayage, never mind having a cut thrown in as well. It looks and feels absolutely gorgeous (see pic) I definitely won’t be going elsewhere when I need my hair done! Thank you Lucy and New Church House 🫶🏻

This was my first time at Melissa Timperly, and my stylist Megan was brilliant. She was so lovely to chat with and did an outstanding job with my hair. I hadn’t had my hair coloured in years, and I wanted something that would be easy to maintain and blend naturally with my own colour, and she was spot on. I also went for a big change with a much shorter cut. I’m always a bit nervous about finding the right hairdresser because my hair has a mix of curl textures, but Megan handled them beautifully. I’m thrilled with my new cut and colour—absolutely loving it! I’ll definitely be coming back here for my next haircut. Thanks Megan!

I'm just back from Melissa Timperley. Read my review here. My visit to the salon is always such a lovely experience. The staff are all lovely and the atmosphere is so relaxing. My last two visits I had my hair cut and coloured by Hamish… an absolute genius with the scissors! I have never seen anyone cut a fringe like he does. I always leave the salon loving my cut and colour when Hamish has done it. He fully takes the time to listen to exactly what i want and takes it step by step to keep checking that im happy with the progress. I really appreciate that he spends time with my fringe to get it just right as not many people have done it exactly how i want it…. extremely talented Stylist! Julee

First time going here and I was absolutely blown away by the surroundings and the staff. Very professional and such a lovely lady who waxed me, she made me feel so comfortable the whole time I was there. I will definitely be going here again as my new waxing place. Highly recommend!

I met the beautiful Sadé on Valentine's day! She was perfect from the start of the treatment to the end. I had to schedule the session close to my period so my skin was mega sensitive but her attention to detail and gentle pulling skills made it so much bearable. I went to Mary, she did my hair amazing. First hairdresser I’ve found that can cut curly hair and was really easy to talk to. Gave me tips on how to style it for my hair type. Definitely recommend

So glad I did a Botox hair treatment at this salon but especially having it done by Mary!!! She was so attentive and made sure to get great final result! I am so happy with the hair and can’t wait to go back. If you feel you have trust issues with hairdressers, then you should try this place out! You won’t get disappointed.

Fantastic experience every time I’m there! I visit Ewa for all my nails appointments, she’s so professional, attentive and talented ❤️ I always get a cup of tea, I relax and rest there. My nails are always perfect, Ewa listens to any of my requests and suggestions. I always get plenty of compliments on my nails 💅🏻 the salon is very modern and comfortable, and all the staff are lovely. Couldn’t recommend more!

I have been going to Avesta for the last year and been getting my hair done by Andrew!! Everyone at the salon is lovely but Andrew has been great with my hair and keeping it healthy - couldn’t highly recommend him enough!! Recently I’ve also decided to go on the hair extension journey and he was so helpful throughout and helping me book last min, order + honest opinions with colours and types on my own hair. I have since had them done and I’m in loveee with them, he has also given me tips and product recommendations to help maintain them. Big thanks again to Andrew and the lovely salon 🤍

Colour knowledge going through all the stages with me making sure I was happy with each stage of the colour and cut. Professional and friendly.
