This was my first time at Melissa Timperly, and my stylist Megan was brilliant. She was so lovely to chat with and did an outstanding job with my hair. I hadn’t had my hair coloured in years, and I wanted something that would be easy to maintain and blend naturally with my own colour, and she was spot on. I also went for a big change with a much shorter cut. I’m always a bit nervous about finding the right hairdresser because my hair has a mix of curl textures, but Megan handled them beautifully. I’m thrilled with my new cut and colour—absolutely loving it! I’ll definitely be coming back here for my next haircut. Thanks Megan!

I'm just back from Melissa Timperley. Read my review here. My visit to the salon is always such a lovely experience. The staff are all lovely and the atmosphere is so relaxing. My last two visits I had my hair cut and coloured by Hamish… an absolute genius with the scissors! I have never seen anyone cut a fringe like he does. I always leave the salon loving my cut and colour when Hamish has done it. He fully takes the time to listen to exactly what i want and takes it step by step to keep checking that im happy with the progress. I really appreciate that he spends time with my fringe to get it just right as not many people have done it exactly how i want it…. extremely talented Stylist! Julee

Lovely salon. I'd been looking for a salon specialising in short, curly hair post chemotherapy. Victoria always asks how I am managing my hairstyle and explains how she is going to cut it before proceeding with the haircut. She then shows how to style it at the end. The stylists here wash your hair, colour it and cut it so you have 1 person looking after you from start to finish. The mints with the coffee are also lovely! This place has been a great find! 08/09 Another precision cut again today. Such beautiful shaping - I particularly love the back. Thank you Victoria! 15/02 I am still thrilled with my hair. I decided to go curly just before Christmas and Victoria listened to my requirements and did a fabulous job yet again. I am really looking forward to my next visit to the salon. Jo is really personable and easy to chat to. He always checks that I'm happy with the cut and whether there is anything I'd like him to tweak. I met the beautiful Sadé on Valentine's day! She was perfect from the start of the treatment to the end. I had to schedule the session close to my period so my skin was mega sensitive but her attention to detail and gentle pulling skills made it so much bearable. I came here for my first ever wax after being recommended by a friend & I will definitely be back! It was such an easy, comfortable experience - much less painful than I expected. There was no nerves at all and the woman (I didn’t catch her name, young with brown hair) who did my wax, was so so so lovely & chatty!

Ndeye accepted my appointment on short notice. She washed, blow dried, and twisted my hair neatly and efficiently in less than two hours. She has a very pleasant demeanor. I’m from out of town but would return if I’m ever in Manchester.

Ndeye is wonderful at what she does! I have been coming to her salon for over 4 years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Her attention to detail is superb. She has also always been excellent and extremely patient with my daughter - who can be fussy and wriggle a lot! She can perfectly replicate styles I show her, and also come up with her own when I'm lacking inspiration. I can't recommend Dixa enough!

My first time visiting Beauty and Bubbles today and wow, from the moment I walked in to when I left it was fabulous. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. I had booked an Indian head massage with Molly, she really does care about her clients and is passionate about her job. The massage was perfect, started with very warm hands too (which seems to be a rarity in other beauty places) it was so relaxing. Molly gave me some tips on oils to use in the bath to help with relaxation too. Thank you to Molly and all the staff at Beauty and Bubbles, I will definitely be back 🙂

Was in Manchester for weekend as my son & husband were going to Football, so decided to get pampered! Very welcoming salon, Amy-Lois was really friendly & made me feel at home. The facial was amazing. It was so relaxing, especially as I had a shoulder, head & arm massage as part of the facial too. I highly recommend it. I will definitely book in again when I am back in Manchester.

I had a gift from my daughter to have a pedicure here. I had never been before and was really looking forward to it🫶The girls from the calls on the phone( I had issues with my computer booking in🤪) to arriving were 5🌟they were so very nice! I had arrived late so had to change my manicure to a different date-there was no problem🫶I had a coffee and Tia was just a dream, very likeable and knowledgable! Really looking forward to my manicure, wont be driving so I can have my complimentary glass of bubbles🥂🩷🫶

I had an amazing experience with Sebastian! I walked in with no idea what I wanted and just let him do his thing—and I’m so glad I did. He gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had! We had a really nice conversation throughout, and he always made sure everything was perfect without taking a second longer. I booked this salon whilst I was abroad, as it continuously came up as one of the top salons in Manchester. I also could see they catered to all hair types, which was a big deal for me. I was extremely pleased with how my hair turned out and how friendly the people were. Highly recommended.

i've been going to selina's for threading purposes but this is the first time i've been here for HAIR! as someone whose been blonde for the longest time, going dark was quite scary for me but Christina saw the vision, reassured me, talked me through the whole process and really did an AMAZING job at bringing my confidence back and my hair is looking healthier than EVER. super speedy one-on-one process. I attended Nadia's today for the Hammam service. It is a reasonable price and very good service. I will definitely be coming again for the hammam. I have had other services from Nadia aswell. She does everything really well and takes good care of her customers.

I went to get a full leg wax, I see the recent menu reviews about waxing here but it was very very good. The person who works me was called Farah or Farha, I'm not really sure but she was really good and really friendly the entire atmosphere was really nice and sweet and made me feel so comfortable and at home. My skin is very sensitive so she went slower and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole thing. She was very detailed oriented and made sure nothing was left. For someone like me who hasn't been able to find a good place to go for a wax in a long time this place was perfect I will go again and I recommend to anyone who's looking

I’ve always gone to Afshan for every kind of beauty/hair related treatment IPL,hair cuts, hair die and make up and every time I’ve been I have been treated very nicely. Afshan is amazing, she takes care of every client I trust her and her work no problems. I highly recommend her service it’s the best and she’s the best in the game. Thumbs up for work.
