A good friend of mine recommended Steve Duckworth after he installed solar battery air source heat pump at his house. I contacted Steve and from then on the service from him and his team was outstanding. Once the design and quote was agreed installation went very well with Steve’s team working closely with the roofing contractor to install the in roof solar panels. The system was operational in a matter of days. It’s just over a year ago since the installation and any minor teething issues I have had have been dealt with quickly and efficiently. Would highly recommend Steve Duckworth Electrical Ltd.

Steve and the team are brilliant to work with. Going above and beyond at their financial risk was a clear sign they aren't your typical hands off company. They want to do a great job and they want to make sure it is exactly what you need. Expertly fitted a full Vaillant system (2x ASHP, Unvented Cylinder, SensorNet etc) and removed the old boiler system. We are now scoping a full solar installation with the team. Highly recommend.

Every Builder needs a good butty shop local to his job, and this one is really spot on!!. 👷👌 ... I've been to this butty shop several times over the last 10 years as local to summerseat. In the past, it was an okay place if you were stuck, very average, no frills!! After recently hearing that this place had been taken over, I thought i would give the place a go!!! Well, what a transformation and couldn't phrase the new owners & staff enough!!. The place has had a massive transformation with a new ejection life deffenlty brought to the place, can feel the new energy as ya enter.!! Staff are bubbly an full banter 🤩🧑‍🍳👩‍🍳.. They have still kept some of the traditional pies & cakes that this place was known for, but also have brought a new lease life to the menu!! 🥧🥪🍟🌮🥓🥗🍰🎂🥯🍇... Offering a wide selection of hot & cold sandwiches 🥪 and dishes!!. You will spend more time struggling to work out what to have!! Make sure ya check out their daily specials!! deffo not to be missed - tried the pulled pork butty the other day, and it was spot on 🤤🤤🍔🍟.... I would Deffnlty go back and certainly be recommending to fellow tradies 10 /10 from use!!

We had Ryan over for a wide range of jobs across several days - installation of new lights and electrical devices externally and internally, fault-finding, remediation and rewiring. He was professional, friendly, bang-on-time every time, left everything tidy, fitted quality parts, and took great pride in his work - explaining everything he was doing clearly and giving options and taking on board our requests. When there was a pre-existing fault that came up towards the end of a day of repairs, he stayed-on to make sure he left us with fully-working electrics before finishing the repairs another day. Knowing a good electrician is a pleasure and I'm glad he's in business in our area; I've recommended to friends and family and would hire again myself.

Lovely place, decor is really nice and the food was delicious. The hot chocolate was one of the best I’ve ever had. My friend and I ordered the ham and cheese croissant and waffles with berries to share, both were delicious. They sell fresh cakes and chocolate so I will be back to buy some! It’s also dog friendly.

Me, my sister and my nephew thoroughly enjoyed our visit on Thursday afternoon. The cafe is decorated beautifully and the food was delicious. The staff were so good with Harry and even showed him how their homemade chocolate is made - he was absolutely made up! We definitely recommend this fabulous family business. The hot chocolate was ‘10/10’ as my nephew said. Special shout-out to Nic and Ella for their amazing customer service and making us feel so welcome. Will definitely be returning x Harry’s Aunties x

What a lovely gem of a place to find on a rainy day! The assortment of chocolate goodness was amazing! I opted for a hot chocolate with all the trimmings and was absolutely delighted to find a gorgeous marshmallow and a pot of cream to dollop on at my leisure. All hot drinks were accompanied with a small chocolate which was another unexpected treat! The staff were really helpful and it was great to know that they had Gluten Free options for the sandwiches! Highly recommend if you are in the area!

Called in for a coffee mid week. It was quiet, but given the weather, it was an understandable.lovely clean shop, seating over two floors.Staff were frendly and the range of chocolate available was awesome.Coffee was really nice and the place had a really good vibe.

Great communication pre & post completion of the installation of new kitchen appliances, sockets & earth bonding. Great job completed at a fair price in a fair time. Used EIC a couple of weeks ago for two spotlights in my pourch and two spotlights outside my front door, I was very impressed with the advice and service I received. Ryan recommended my outside lights to be operated by a switch that connects to my WiFi and now I have them set on a timer and don't have to even worry about turning them on an off. Top job 100% Happy and would recommend to anyone wanting a good job

We were in the process of refurbishing our business. We used EIC for all our electrical work. Ryan gave us ideas and suggestions we didn't even think about. Our new reception area is transformed with new spot lights and LED lights built into the reception desk. We also called Ryan back to have line extensions, additional sockets and a high quality CCTV system. The prices are very reasonable and the quality of work is very professional. Fusion Electrical recently completed a full electrical survey and upgraded the consumer unit in our home. From start to finish, their professionalism was impressive. Both the on-site electricians and the office team were highly efficient and well organised. The quotes, scheduling, reminders, and follow-ups were all handled seamlessly. I was kept informed at every stage, from the initial enquiry to receiving the final, thorough documentation. Friday 22nd November. We went for a dinner on the train. The service was absolutely fantastic. The staff were so polite and well mannered. The food was beautiful and very tasty. Large portions. The drinks were reasonably priced. We would definitely recommend this.

What an authentic experience! We booked the Lancastrian Lunch for our family of 4 for my Dad’s 80th birthday. The 3 hour trip just flew by in the most memorable way! From arriving and being shown to our First class seats (they are all 1st class by the way) , a glass of fizz already on the table, a substantial 3 course meal with friendly and attentive staff, to the gentle ride through the lovely Bury/Ramsbottom countryside, it was all perfect! My Dad was allowed up into the engine to see the stoking and have a chat with the driver. This was actually the highlight for him, so a huge thanks for that!

I want to highly recommend the 'dining with Distinction' company, had a lovely meal on the East Lancashire railway steam trip from bury. I am a coeliac and need gluten free food I really worry about events like this but I had to risk it as it was special birthday treat for my dad. They gave me a sticker on my seat and each meal brought to me separately, nothing served from the shared trays! Really good quality food too. I got a Yorkshire pudding! Nicest one I've had out. Bread roll was delicious soft and didn't collapse when I buttered it. Food excellent quality fresh, hot and tasty. Brownie as usual but extremely tasty. Again nicest one I've had out. I'd taken back up sandwich and snacks and didn't need anything! Staff were very clued up and carefull. They do loads of dining events on this line and I'd definitely recommend going if you're a steam fan, or just after something different, beautiful views lovely people.
