Have today visited this garage for the first time for attention to my car, which I expected to be a large and costly repair but was in reality a two minute remedial job. The young gentleman, whose name I didn't catch, was most helpful, efficient, professional and genuinely kind - he clipped and resecured a pipe to the car engine in a few moments, explained the issue and would accept no payment. I am extremely grateful and will certainly be taking my car to this garage for servicing in future. Many thanks to this gentleman.

Cannot fault this garage. They will always test and try the least costly option first. I needed a new alternator in the end and despite a few supplier issues and having already closed for Christmas the mechanic made sure I wasn't without a car for Christmas. They went over and above and I wouldn't hesitate recommending this garage. The car charger voltage meter was also a great recommendation. I now know the battery is fully charged at all times! We initially took our C Class 350 Cdi to SPR to get a diagnosis on a fault, that none of our local mechanics could seem to pin point, after close and detailed inspection on the ramp, Sam identified the issue as engine and gearbox mounts. We arranged an appointment for a later date as we needed the vehicle due to our personal commitments. We requested that the A1 service was carried out at the same time, we travelled to SPR from Stoke, we were greeted on the day by Paula and Sam at reception, the whole place and the people are very presentable, polite, humorous and professional. We were given an amazing little courtesy car for the day (Pictured), later on in the day, we received a telephone call to say that our car was ready for collection. On entering the reception, we were greeted with the faulty parts that had been replaced, to prove what was wrong initially, 100% transparency is what we like, we paid our bill, which was very competitively priced, despite the works carried out. On starting up the car, it was almost silent once more, just like when we bought it 7 years ago, handling also greatly improved too, confidence restored. I follow and enjoy the YT channel, and was super impressed with Sam & the team’s knowledge, professionalism and lack of BS. I’m lucky enough now to have my SL500 on the books, and on the first visit they’ve already solved an issue my local MB specialist couldn’t figure out. Also - saved me a small fortune with the ABC ball joint replacement. I get the impression that they are honest, trustworthy and enthusiastic, with a deep well of knowledge and experience in modern and modern classic MBs. My car is in the best hands now to ensure it lasts as long as it can - I’ll be happily bringing it in for regular servicing, preventative maintenance and “whilst you’re in there” jobs, despite the distance from me - thanks Sam!

A great service is given by Sam and his team at SPR autos. My classic Mercedes was evaluated for work, a detailed estimate quoted and when the repairs took place Sam was fair and honest with some extra bits that were needed. Nigel’s worth his weight in gold! Been trying to get my Alfa fixed and been passed round from one mechanic to the next. Rang Nigel yesterday told him my issue, in spite of being incredibly busy and saying he’s booked up until October. Said if I brought it first think he’d plug it in and see if he can at least give me a diagnosis. As the diagnosis I’d previously been given from another mechanic, of an engine air leak didn’t sound right to him. Anyway long story short 20mins later car fixed. Great guy, can’t recommend him enough!

Excellent work on my wife's Fiat 500 which had a fault our local garage couldn't resolve. Nigel not only knows his stuff he is thorough in his work. He is also a really nice bloke and we have no hesitation in recommending him.

Had an issue with my electronic handbrake on my Giulia. Nigel was great in finding the issue straight away, and resolved the matter within 24 hours. Very efficient, fair price, and overall couldn’t have asked for better. Would highly recommend!

One of the best BMW Specialist I dealt with Did a gearbox service front and rear diff and suspension arm. Very well priced and kept me informed all day and even had the car washed when I picked up which is the cherry on the top.

Once again, I can say that there's only 1 BMW specialst place you need to go to for all your repairs and service, if your looking for honest advise and excellent quality service at premium level but not at stupid priced like the main dealer, make sure you call the men at Daren Wood.

Very highly recommended. Mikes knowledge on complex turbo issues for my G57 840d were second to none. His diagnostic and repair methodology was clear and transparent and the pricing is spot on if not a little too cheap! They also fixed a few other niggles with minimum fuss. I probably wouldn’t visit a main dealer again.

Called them and got booked in for the next day, had to replace all brake discs and pads, dropped the car at 11am and it was ready by 1pm, very fast and reliable service. They’re BMW specialist (the real ones certified from BMW Manchester) so there is no doubt they did a great job with my 520d brakes, driving comfort was like a brand new car. Prices are really reasonable and accessible to almost anyone for the high quality job they do. They became my one and only choice as mechanics, won’t go anywhere else from now on!!

I went to Hills for my MOT a couple of months ago, the guys there are so lovely and it was such a great price too. I’ve recently gone back to get my brake pads changed and Paul was so helpful and kept me up to date every step of the way, even letting me know the price before he did the work. Honestly, I wouldn’t trust anyone else to sort my car out. Like I said, the guys there are brilliant and I can’t recommend them enough!

Really wanted to leave a review for Paul & the lovely guys at Hills Auto Centre to say thank you for their help & honesty in diagnosing the faults with my car last week. Unfortunately my car was not worth repairing & Paul actually recommended to scrap the car instead even though this meant him losing the work. Not many garages would be so honest, especially to a woman. Although not the scenario I was hoping for I’m really grateful for such transparent advice & will certainly be using Hills going forward when I have a new vehicle, a brilliant garage & team!

I turned up at Hills with a dodgy exhaust without prior arrangement. They put it straight on the lift, diagnosed the problem and gave me a price within 20 minutes. Fantastic service. My partner was replacing a car part, but the tool he ordered to complete the job was faulty. I suggested he ask our local garage to press the part out. Wasn't sure they would agree to what was probably an unusual request, but they were so helpful and friendly. They quoted £10 and wouldn't take any more when my partner also asked them to press the new part in. Thank you so much Mersey Street Garage.

Unlike most garages they take the time to explain things, keep costs down on parts and do what they promise. Becky, Nathan and Carl are brilliant always have a bit of banter and they will have done most things i’ve thrown at them. We run campervan hire so we’ve had work done on VW transporters and crafters. Absolute gem of a garage.

What can I say....my daughter bought a car from the garage and right from the get go I got the impression Phil was an absolute gent. After a slight administration faux pas Phil did exactly what he said he'd do and helped us out of a tricky situation. The car is a fantastic purchase and hopefully will last my daughter through the next few years of happy driving. My car is booked in for a little bit of air-con work and I hope my faith in the garage carries on. Can't praise Phil high enough and recommend the garage highly enough.

Brilliant place, been going for several years for my MOT and Service and they're always well priced and super flexible at getting me booked in. Recently had a bigger problem with my car, called them up and they booked me in and fixed the issue in the same day, price was much better than expected and they explained clearly what the issues were.
