I have always taken my mini to the dealership for servicing but found the cost and lack of personal contact intolerable. Word of mouth brought me to Harrison’s and I’m so glad. Lee and his son, Shaun fixed a problem with my window and replaced a battery. I felt I could trust them and to top it off a lovely lad picked the car up and dropped it off once the work was done. The labour charges were a fraction of what I had paid before so I will be going back again. Thankyou.

So nice to take your car to someone you can trust to know what they're talking about and won't overcharge etc. After getting the initial recommendation I now travel quite far to use these guys, and every time I drop my car of I feel completely confident that it's in the best possible hands. This latest time my dashboard was lit up like a Christmas tree and I was prepared for a serious bill. It was quickly diagnosed to one relatively cheap faulty sensor and didn't cost the earth. Can't recommend them enough, if there were 6 stars I'd give them another one.

Once again, I can say that there's only 1 BMW specialst place you need to go to for all your repairs and service, if your looking for honest advise and excellent quality service at premium level but not at stupid priced like the main dealer, make sure you call the men at Daren Wood.

One of the best BMW Specialist I dealt with Did a gearbox service front and rear diff and suspension arm. Very well priced and kept me informed all day and even had the car washed when I picked up which is the cherry on the top.

Very highly recommended. Mikes knowledge on complex turbo issues for my G57 840d were second to none. His diagnostic and repair methodology was clear and transparent and the pricing is spot on if not a little too cheap! They also fixed a few other niggles with minimum fuss. I probably wouldn’t visit a main dealer again.

Contacted Mersey Street Garage having been recommended to use them. My car was collected and delivered back to me. Everything was itemised and was much better value than I've been used to paying. They even told me about a slight fault I had no idea about, and had sorted it for me at no extra cost. Will definitely be using them from now on. Brilliant service.

Unlike most garages they take the time to explain things, keep costs down on parts and do what they promise. Becky, Nathan and Carl are brilliant always have a bit of banter and they will have done most things i’ve thrown at them. We run campervan hire so we’ve had work done on VW transporters and crafters. Absolute gem of a garage.

I always use this garage for service & MOT. On the odd occasion I have had car issues they always got me booked in on short notice and fixed it at a good price. What can I say....my daughter bought a car from the garage and right from the get go I got the impression Phil was an absolute gent. After a slight administration faux pas Phil did exactly what he said he'd do and helped us out of a tricky situation. The car is a fantastic purchase and hopefully will last my daughter through the next few years of happy driving. My car is booked in for a little bit of air-con work and I hope my faith in the garage carries on. Can't praise Phil high enough and recommend the garage highly enough.

I had instant air con failure and took it to one of the tyre / exhaust companies that offer air con regas , they checked it and told me there was plenty of gas in ths system and suggested I took it to a air con specialist which bought me to completeauto the problem was diagnosed as compressor failure and a quote given for a new one , the repair was carried out with fast efficiency, and ice cold air con restored. Very pleased with the fast friendly service carried out by this company and will be going back for any service or repairs.

I went to Hills for my MOT a couple of months ago, the guys there are so lovely and it was such a great price too. I’ve recently gone back to get my brake pads changed and Paul was so helpful and kept me up to date every step of the way, even letting me know the price before he did the work. Honestly, I wouldn’t trust anyone else to sort my car out. Like I said, the guys there are brilliant and I can’t recommend them enough!

Really wanted to leave a review for Paul & the lovely guys at Hills Auto Centre to say thank you for their help & honesty in diagnosing the faults with my car last week. Unfortunately my car was not worth repairing & Paul actually recommended to scrap the car instead even though this meant him losing the work. Not many garages would be so honest, especially to a woman. Although not the scenario I was hoping for I’m really grateful for such transparent advice & will certainly be using Hills going forward when I have a new vehicle, a brilliant garage & team!

I turned up at Hills with a dodgy exhaust without prior arrangement. They put it straight on the lift, diagnosed the problem and gave me a price within 20 minutes. Ready for collection the next working day and cheaper than quoted. It doesn't get much better than that. Great people and professional job. My new go to garage. Cheers.

We initially took our C Class 350 Cdi to SPR to get a diagnosis on a fault, that none of our local mechanics could seem to pin point, after close and detailed inspection on the ramp, Sam identified the issue as engine and gearbox mounts. We arranged an appointment for a later date as we needed the vehicle due to our personal commitments. We requested that the A1 service was carried out at the same time, we travelled to SPR from Stoke, we were greeted on the day by Paula and Sam at reception, the whole place and the people are very presentable, polite, humorous and professional. We were given an amazing little courtesy car for the day (Pictured), later on in the day, we received a telephone call to say that our car was ready for collection. On entering the reception, we were greeted with the faulty parts that had been replaced, to prove what was wrong initially, 100% transparency is what we like, we paid our bill, which was very competitively priced, despite the works carried out. On starting up the car, it was almost silent once more, just like when we bought it 7 years ago, handling also greatly improved too, confidence restored. Mercedes are complex luxury cars, and as such they need a high level of knowledge and understanding to truly maintain them and repair them properly. Which is why you need Sam and the team at SPR - they are truly wizards at Mercedes maintenance. You can 100% trust they'll never suggest something that doesn't need doing. The attention to detail is high and they'll often complete little 'while you're in there' jobs that will ensure you're not back again a few weeks later with something else that could have easily been avoided (but of course they will ask you first if you want it to be done). The parts they use are of the highest quality (either Mercedes OEM or as-good-as). And given all this, the prices are reasonable.

A great service is given by Sam and his team at SPR autos. My classic Mercedes was evaluated for work, a detailed estimate quoted and when the repairs took place Sam was fair and honest with some extra bits that were needed. Would recommend SPR for their great service, knowledge and trusted judgement. Will be using them to maintain my car going forward. Thanks to Paula, Sam and his team.

Was booked in for a diagnostic check yesterday.They found the fault, said if I left van,they could replace glow plugs,and have van back same day. Fabulous, am a courier, and van was sorted in half a day, and I was back working. Many thanks guys, much appreciated!
