This garage was recommended to me by a friend as my car was due it's MOT and service and I wasn't happy with my previous garage for lots of reasons. Unfortunately as a female I have felt that previous garages have overcharged me or made me pay for unnecessary work because I didn't have a clue what they were talking about and believed the advice I was given. Paul and his team were extremely friendly and professional, and I am beyond happy with the service I received from them. Paul explained everything clearly and was more than happy to answer all my questions. For the first time ever I haven't been ripped off and really feel like I've finally found a reliable and trustworthy garage that I will continue to use. Their prices are very reasonable and I would definitely recommend this garage to everyone.

Really happy with Paul and team. Excellent customer service, friendly and very knowledgeable. He explains things well and gives advice based on what needs doing and what doesn't. Called them because my car was having issues and they fitted me right in the next morning, the car was then fixed by the afternoon that same day! Amazing place. I got my car for a check for leakage and they did not charge anything to identify the issue. Recharged my air con gas and was charged the said amount and my AC is working wonderful now. Great place owned by a family business and are reliable.

Rick from Braketech was brilliant. Had an issue with my brakes, booked online for the following morning. Arrived bang on time, had a look and identified the issue. New discs and pads fitted in under an hour and at a fantastic price. Will be using Rick for ALL my future servicing requirements. 5 star service and best of all, he comes to you!

HEADLINE: Thank you Megan and the Team for going out of your way to help me at a very stressful time. (This review is long overdue!) Weds morning 16 Aug 23 my car began "screaming" on the M61. I stayed in the slow lane and came off at the next junction and rang Parkills straight away. "Could I bring my car in?" Lovely Megan initially said at least a week. When I explained I am self-employed working across the NW and need my car, (don't work: don't earn) compounded by currently driving back and forth to a specialist vets 30+ miles away (my dog had cancer and days earlier had had a huge operation). Megan said she'd speak to the manager at 9. She called me back at 9 and said "bring the car in, though they may not get to it that day". A slow drive to Parkhills and I left it with them. Megan rang me that afternoon, they did in fact find out what was wrong with the car same day, then it was a case of waiting for parts, I added a full service to the work, and had a niggly tiny issue (I couldn't remove a plastic cap on one tyre valve to inflate it). Megan kept me informed throughout those 3 days (4 calls in 3 days) and I had my car back by Friday! So what could have been 2 weeks no income AND worry how I'd get my dog back to the vets in an emergency. I was only off the road for 2.5 days. This is the 2nd time Parkhills have provided excellent service and resolved an issue for me. I really appreciate Parkhills excellent customer service, going out of their way to look after me as a customer and the transparency of great videos illustrating what works needs to be done gives that added peace of mind. For me choosing a garage boils down to trust and good service, who will keep you safe on the roads. I'm confident when I take my car to Parkhills they'll do a good job and are always friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Thanks again Megan, and sorry this review wasn't posted sooner!

Booked in to have my heat shield properly fitted and checked and when they found out it was partially fitted they didn't charge me for the labour or adding an extra bolt to ensure it was intact. Megan was extremely personable and generous in not charging me I have previously had my car MOT'd here at very late notice and they fitted me in no problem. Brilliant service throughout. I would definitely recommend this garage.

My SEAT failed on emissions on an MOT at a different garage, I was recommended this place as the other was fully booked. My dad has always used this garage for a number of years now, so decided to give them a go recently for a couple of MOT's. The owner is extremely helpful and accommodating. And very friendly. To get honest, he did get me out of a pickle as I had no MOT and hadn't realised and needed to tax my car. He fitted me in super quick and had it sorted for me in no time at all. We couldn't fault the service we were given and cost wise also great. All in all a very positive visit and I would return without hesitation

MOT customer. First time. We had purchased a 12 plate Fiat 500 which we were pleased with. It had 6 months MOT on it so we took the chance. When the car was due for the first MOT with us we took it to our local garage, Westbury. From the initial walking into the garage I was put at ease by their attitude and knowledge and this feeling lasted until I paid. These guys are excellent at what they do and most importantly they are HONEST. I advised that I could hear knocking from the NSF of the car and that it could possibly fail. Well, the car passed and the price was reasonable even with a Bosch windscreen wiper needing to be bought. They kept me up to date and even said just turn up with the car for retest if needed and we'll fit you in. I will certainly be using Westbury from now on as I feel they are very customer oriented and represent good value for your money. I have nothing negative to report at all. Edit: Used again for the second time and Westbury remain excellent in what they do. The MOT was the maximum permitted charge (£54) but it is definitely worth it for the customer service experience. Car dropped off at 9am and done and collected by midday. Excellent!

Must be one of the last family business. So helpful and your old fashioned garages proper mechanic you tell them what you think is wrong with your car and they no exactly what it is. And they don't charge a fortune.

I have just had a new clutch fitted on my hyundia i10 at finneys and I was very happy with the service and work that was done. The staff are very friendly and professional. I would definitely use them again.

Bought a new battery for my Jaguar thinking it was an easy job for me to do myself but soon realised that there were a few resets that needed to be done for it to work.
