Ben fitted some in built alcove cupboards in our clinic, his work is exceptional, he's efficient, a perfectionist and everything was spot on even down to cleaning up afterwards. I would highly recommend Ben for all your joinery needs!!

I had none of these issues with Rowland. The project manager, Aaron was incredibly responsive and kept us informed throughout the entire process. They were patient with our design choices, offering expert advice when needed. The tradesmen were punctual, courteous, and cleaned up after themselves daily, minimising disruption to our home life. The end result is a stunning open plan kitchen that exceeds our expectations. The attention to detail is remarkable, and the quality of cratftmanship is evident in every aspect. We are thrilled with the transformation and can't wait to enjoy our new space for years to come. Rowland Construction carried out a ground floor extension and remodelling for us. The job started and finished early. There were many people working on the build every day, and all of them were friendly, hardworking and considerate. Our home was always kept as clean and tidy as possible (we lived in it throughout), and we were kept well informed about progress of the build. Scott's site manager, Aaron, is a perfectionist, and a really superb communicator. It was a huge weight off my mind to feel complete trust in everyone who was working in my home, for the duration of the build. The job was on budget (except for extras which we requested as the job progressed - these were priced in advance, and stuck to). I would use Rowland again without question and have recommended them to everyone I know who is having building work done.

Rowland Construction completed a 2 storey extension for us, with a large amount of internal reconfiguration and reconstruction. From the initial meeting with Scott to talk about our project, through to completion, they guided us through the whole process with professionalism, enthusiasm and efficiency. The project ran smoothly and was well organised, with a large team on site every day. We found every member of the team to be courteous and respectful, hardworking and happy to answer any questions or talk to us about the work they were doing. The project was completed to a high standard, according to the schedule set out at the beginning, on budget, with extras negotiated as the project progressed. We appreciated the payment schedule set out in advance so we knew what to expect. Aaron was contactable throughout the project to keep us updated, and really helped to guide us through the decision making. He was great at offering design suggestions and had lots of ideas which we wouldn’t otherwise have considered ourselves. Scott and Aaron are both helpful in recommending other reliable tradespeople / suppliers and we felt our satisfaction was their priority. We are delighted with the end result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a brilliant team to complete their building work. Thanks to all involved for our amazing new home!

The best builder experience I have had! I was having a knock through done which required steel, and both rooms re plastered, electrics, plumbing, new joinery and steps creating. From the start a clear quote and breakdown of work provided. During the work communication was very good. Aaron visited site everyday and updated me on what was happening that day/week. All trades people were polite and friendly and tidy. I was pleased with the final quality of finish.

Just moved into a new property and had quite a long snag list of small works that needed doing such as trimming of doors & skirting, attaching things to walls, fitting new doors, etc. David was on time, efficient and did a great job! Would definitely recommend and also use again!

I am writing this because my experience hiring Dave could not be more different from only other review. It just does not reflect what I know and what other people who I've recommended him to know. Dave was brilliant, he helped the design fitted wardrobes and shelves in an awkward alcove, advised on best materials, hinges etc. to create my ideal clothing and shoe storage solution. I absolutely love it. He also repaired an old child's chair my mum painted for me years ago and which had broken quite badly. Now it's good as new. Very reasonable prices. A total pleasure to deal with.

I would highly recommend Manchester Carpentry. I recently had underfloor heating installed and needed the manifold to be boxed in to stop it getting damaged and to make the area look tidier. Arj responded quickly, came out to measure promptly and gave me a competitive quote. The work was done within a week to a high standard. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Manchester Carpentry again for any future work.

Andy & Ryan extended and reconfigured our house in the later half of 2022. We are extremely happy with the results. They are easy to work with and helped us through all stages of the process from designing and planning what we wanted through to completion. They handled it all, or knew someone who would. It doesn’t hurt that they are also very friendly and helpful people anyway. We were particularly impressed by their flexibility and dedication. They were able to respond quickly to the changes we imposed on them, they performed some jobs that were not part of the original specifications (at a reasonable extra cost, of course) and they kept to our original timetable. Working weekends and overtime when necessary. We have already used them for other jobs, and will do again.

Andy and Ryan have actually done two jobs for us: first they replaced an old conservatory with a small extension, then we were so happy with their work that we asked them back to do a full two-storey extension. Both times they've been extremely helpful, accommodating, professional, given very competitive quotes, and worked very hard to an excellent standard. They're genuinely nice guys who care about their work and they've both been great in terms of flexibility too, e.g. Andy did some extra joinery work in one of our bedrooms and supplied and fitted new internal doors which weren't in the original plan, and Ryan came back after our extension was built to install our utility room cupboards, including working on the weekend to get it done it time. We also really appreciated their advice on various occasions where we were stuck deciding details of the build. We couldn't recommend them enough, and would happily have them back for a third job if we had one!

From the moment of meeting Andy to price our job we knew we would be in good hands and couldn't wait to start our extension. From start to finish both Andy and Ryan just couldn't do enough. There was no such things as a 'silly question' and all our ideas were taken on board and they could be achieved they were but if not Andy and Ryan could come up with an alternative or something generally better. I have never met more professional, friendly, hard working trading men. We were actually sad to see them leave when the build was done. Ryan did return though to fit our new kitchen, which was again done with an eye for detail and treated just like it was his own kitchen being fitted. Words truly can't describe how happy we are with our extension and kitchen, it's now our favourite room. Andy and Ryan have been the builders I’d always hoped to find before we started our two-story side extension. We’ve lived near and walked past lots of extensions that took months longer than they should. Where people were lazing off every time you walk past. From the start Andy gave us a solid time frame and worked overtime to keep to it as much as possible. My wife and I aren’t always the easiest clients, sometimes asking for alterations during the job, and these were always acted upon and carried out to very high standards. This is all in addition to being one of the most competitive quotes we received. A great, friendly, helpful father and son duo with an army of tradesmen in all areas that, over the years, they have amassed from trusted, high-quality workers. Can’t recommend them enough.
