We needed some new radiators fitted, with some corrective pipework on a challenging system. Andy undertook the work and identified a new problem with a feeder tank which involved some additional work. Very pleased with the work carried out at a very reasonable price. Excellent communication throughout, very tidy . I can thoroughly recommend Andy.

Andy has been today to fit a new stop tap and relocate it because the very old one was in an awkward place and had siezed. He had to pull the carpet back so he could reach under the floorboards. Andy is reliable, friendly, trustworthy & a very good plumber. He left my room as though he hadn't been there, he put the carpet back and the furniture and even plastered up the hole around the old tap. He always arrives when he says he will and he doesn't rip you off. I'd recommend him to everyone.

Andy was awesome, super friendly, explained all the issues to me and gave me an affordable quote! Andy replaced my stop tap and a leaky tap within a couple of hours, and reassembled all the carpentry housing the stop tap. Would greatly recommend!

Mike and his team did a great job fitting a brand new boiler in our house. Communication was great and the team were all super professional. I could tell he was very experienced by the direction and information he was giving to his team. Mike made sure all the TRVs were in the best location, the wooden box panels surrounding the boiler were cut in the most aesthetic way, and ensured that I had full understanding of the controls and boiler app before they left. Very efficient, quality workmanship and £700 cheaper than those clowns at British Gas. I would definitely recommend, and shall certainly be contacting them for any future plumbing issues.

Excellent service from Mike and his team. Quality work easily arranged from having a new boiler fitted to getting an annual service arranged and completed. Mike will always tell you how it is and run through all the options, not just try and flog you the work that costs the most. A highly reputable company who you can trust to look out for the customers interests. Annual reminders for boiler service as well which are very useful so it’s one less thing to keep track of!!!

First class job from Mike and his team, I would not hesitate to recommend them. We were looking to change a 25 year old boiler to a more efficient model. I had quotes from a few companies and whilst Mike's was competitive, price alone was not the reason for choosing him to complete the work. Mike initially came out and talked me through the various options in detail, his knowledge of the latest models on the market was obvious, as was the professional way he came across - unlike one of the other companies I got to quote. Mike is involved in the installation personally, his hands on approach gives you confidence in the answers to any questions you raise - rather than sending a 'salesman' who are unable to answer all your queries truthfully. On installation day, Mike and his team of 3 others arrived nice and early. There was a fair amount of work involved, altering pipework, removing hot water cylinder, loft tanks etc. The 4 of them worked tirelessly all day (fuelled by many cups of tea / coffee!). One thing that stood out for me during the installation was the time he took to make sure the younger members of his team fully understood, asking their opinions, all part of an experienced guy wanting to pass that knowledge on.

The lead in time was realistic and they were swift in planning, clear in all communications and very amenable when I had questions and queries about how to best operate the stove. They were also able to recommend an appropriate finance arrangement for me. I am very happy with the result and I am looking forward to many warm evenings around the stove in the future! I phoned SMH (Chorlton) Ltd after three boiler breakdowns in just under two weeks and our past Gas Safe Engineer being unavailable. Whilst they couldn't help with the repair they provided me some solid advice over the phone regarding the manufacturer - which turned out to be exactly what we needed. They didn't try to upsell me a new boiler (which I was beginning to believe I needed after countless google searches, bad advice elsewhere and a number of days with no heating or hot water). They offered me simple, honest, good advice and I am so grateful as we now have a working boiler without a huge bill. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys. Paul fitted our new boiler recently and was absolutely excellent. Great communication throughout. Very neat install, quick as well so caused minimal disruption in a busy house. Left a tidy site after and disposed of all waste. Shown us through the new boiler and heating control settings before leaving and arranged warranty/gas safe certificate/building control for us. Will always use Royal for plumbing needs now, including regular boiler services going forward to keep the warranty valid on our brand new boiler.

Very impressed by the extremely high standard of Paul’s work and for his complete honesty ! We had already agreed a price for a new boiler replacement by telephone but on inspecting the offending leaking boiler on the morning after my initial call Paul declared that the fault could be repaired for a fraction of the cost. Excellent job of repairing our gas leak. The moment he knew my elderly mother had no heating he rapidly scheduled a visit and came the morning after. Huge recommendation.

Our boiler broke down over a weekend. An engineer came to look at it and estimated that it was uneconomical to repair and recommended that we consider a replacement. I filled out an online form on the Worcester website and was contacted within 30mins by Lacey Plumbing & Heating. A survey was conducted the following morning to ascertain what was required and a quote for an equivalent modern replacement was sent over a couple of hours later. We were happy with the quote but obviously needed the work to be done ASAP as we had no heating or hot water in DECEMBER! I relayed this to their office and they managed to get the whole job completed within 24hrs. The engineer was extremely good. Not only was the job completed impeccably but the whole area was left spotless, our online controls were reinstated and a full handover and explanations of instructions was carried out before he left. Highly recommended!!

Had a leak under the bath, the office team at Lacey's were very helpful, they had no one available in the morning but called me back the same day when an engineer was available. The engineer was friendly and helpful, investigated the leak thoroughly and gave me some options for a fix, got a new part and fitted it quickly. Problem solved. It can be so hard to find reliable, quality people to work on your home. I'd definitely use Lacey's again.

Steve came out very quickly after our bath sprung a leak and was able to complete the work despite our bathroom being designed by an idiot (previous owner) and it being hard to access under the bath! The price was really reasonable and he explained everything he did which was reassuring. I would definitely recommend him and use him again - but hopefully I won't need to. Had an emergency recently where our radiator came away from the wall - Pete was brilliant, he came within a few hours, sorted it out, gave great advice and didn’t over charge us. He also let my 4 year old ask him what he was doing at every step of the way with a smile on his face. Highly recommend!

I have been using James for nearly 4 to 5 years to repair a leaking toilet cistern and another time in 2023 to replace a dripping kitchen tap. Once I asked him if he could dispose my dishwasher and moved the tumble dryer to that vacant space. He didn't mind doing that small jobs and was very helpful. Today he came to replace a dripping kitchen tap of my other property. I have recommended him to my neighbour and family member. The price he charged was very good and affordable. Every time he responded very quickly to fix the problems. James always let me know the fee of the work before coming and what was included and other options for me to choose. He is very polite, and punctual and I am very satisfied with his services.

A place from my childhood. The kids loved it. Lots to see when you walk around. I wish they'd bring the ponds back to life. Friends of Davyhulme park were cleaning and pruning the bushes, lovely bunch of volunteers.

Great open space for families to enjoy, well maintained , lots of happy memories from playing there as a child 40 years ago.Happy days
