Pleased to have had our third combi boiler in 20 plus years installed in Chiswick (third property) by Heywood Heating Ltd. Ryan & Jamie were a dream team who tidied up the existing pipework and laid a new gas supply line before installing and commissioning the new Vaillant ecoTEC plus 840 combi boiler with the protection kit and the remote SensoHome controls. Ryan came up with many little ideas that made the installation much less intrusive than the boiler it replaced, which he removed and disposed of, and ensured that the new expansion vessel was both out of the way of the boiler for maintenance and unobtrusive. Not a spot of green to be seen on the copper pipework afterwards. At the same time they replaced two older radiators with a triple and a double, making no mess despite having to extend the pipework slightly. At the same time, some 17 metres of trenching outside was required which was done efficiently without disturbing existing services, and has now been covered back up as if it never had been there. At all times the team took care to take their boots off inside and use dustsheets etc to protect the floors and furniture, and returned the area to original state at the end of each day. Very responsive to questions and always explained the trade-offs when input was required. The owner Daniel came around before the work was scheduled to look over the requirements and discuss the options before preparing the quote - which itself was detailed and concise. The whole time the process was relaxed and it felt like they were looking out for our best interests.

Very happy with the service from Heywood Heating. I have used them twice in the last year. First to install a new boiler, and recently to install a shower unit. It all looks professional and good quality work, at reasonable prices. The staff are courteous, informative, and happy to answer any questions. I was very impressed with the two engineers who installed the shower (Dylan and Norris) - the new shower and wall panels look great, and they went the extra mile to make sure the work was done to a tight deadline.

Required new cistern. Heywood Heating supplied and installed. Paul was the plumber. He was courteous, highly professional and did a first class job. I would certainly use Heywood and in particular Paul again. The price was also reasonable.

We have used Heywood Heating a few times in 2024 and each time have been very pleased with the work done and the service provided by this local firm. The employees are always very professional, efficient and courteous. All of them seem to have been with Heywood for many years which is a very good sign. Communication with office staff and owner Daniel is very good and always. helpful. We had our old boiler and tank system replaced by a Valliant combi by Ryan and Jamie who did the work very efficiently and with the minimum of inconvenience. They were very considerate, courteous and tidy. We had our bathroom shower tap replaced, and redundant shower pump removed, by Paul who also did this very efficiently and again with minimum of fuss. He was courteous and good humoured. Heywood engineers are punctual and polite and we were informed when they were en route. We called Matt out for an emergency as a hot water pipe joint had popped off and flooded our hallway and kitchen. He was with us quickly, and was calm, friendly, helpful and knowledgable. He quickly identified the issue with minimal additional damage to the property and had us back up and running in 90 minutes. He was exactly what we needed in that moment, and provided a full report early the next day that helped with our insurers. Massive 5 stars.

The plumber, Matthew, came at relatively short notice due to my narrow time limit for the work; he worked at a fast, efficient pace; his manner was pleasant; he completed the job I had asked him to do and gave me the option of booking him for further improvements if desired; he only requested payment on completion of the job after he had he accommodated my request for receipt paperwork; he checked that all systems were in working order before he left. Had a whole new system installed, new boiler, new radiators and a reworking of most of the pipework as also wanted the boiler moved to a more convenient place. Matthew and his team worked tirelessly and figured out all the complications with upgrading my decades old system. I now have a much better water flow and toasty home ready for the winter. Completed quickly and efficiently and very friendly and professional guy, did a lot of prep work with me before it started and I would highly recommend him for your project or repair.

Brilliant service. Mas was able to come in on a last minute notice and fix the broken water pipe to the boiler. Our boiler was not accessible because of poor cupboard design. He patiently cut through the wooden board to make the boiler accessible and fix the problem. Also did all the other mandatory checks and showed some of the poor installation our previous plumber did. Thank you. We need more of this kind of businesses in the neighborhood.

Excellent installation of Glow Worm boiler by Vincent a few months ago. My previous boiler was never up to this standard and now enjoy hot water plus portable remote thermostat + timer for regulating the heating which I've found really good for cutting in when night time temperatures drop very low, then switch off again when reach the minimum set temperature. Vincent is extremely skilled and experienced, worked tirelessly and went above and beyond to complete this installation. Would definitely recommend Vincent and ProTec Heating for anyone looking for boiler installation.

I was told by an engineer from another heating company that my boiler needed to be replaced. I went online to get quotes for boilers. ProTec contacted me and agreed to come to my house to have a look at the boiler and to get an idea of what was needed as a replacement. Vincent arrived on time and we briefly discussed my options and he asked if he could have a look at boiler. Having had a cursory look, he told me that as far as he could see, there was nothing wrong with my boiler. He did say he would have to do a proper service to confirm this. He did this a few days later. It was a thorough service as he checked everything. It took about 30 minutes. The engineers I had used previously had taken a maximum of 10 minutes to do their service! Vincent was professional and extremely honest. He saved me paying out for a new boiler when I do not need one for now. I strongly recommend ProTec Heating. Vincent from ProTec Heating has completed a number of projects for us over the years. His attention to detail is second to none and although I’m very particular, he always manages to exceed what I have thought of or envisaged. His manner and professionalism is always foremost and cost-wise he’s middle to upper middle, but the quality of the installation and the knowledge from the outset I know is certainly worth not taking the risk just to save £50 here or there with other quotes I’ve had in the past. Vincent is always within a ball park of other quotes, but delivers on time, every time and within anticipated budget. I will always recommend him and his team to all that will listen. I had a clogged drain and after waiting several days for an appointment with another plumber, he did not show up at the appointed time, and I called Samuel. Excellent, had a blocked sewage outlet backing up today from 1pm. Phoned Alf and he came two hours later and cleared the blockage in about half an hour. This could have got very nasty and it was really important to have a speedy solution to this problem that could have turned into a big health hazard. He dealt quickly and efficiently with the whole thing. Said he does a lot of work in the Pitshanger area of Ealing, which he clearly does. Very much recommend him for drain clearing and the cost was fair and reasonable. Thanks very much for your help today Alf. Really appreciate it.

I had a blocked mains drain under my conservatory. I rang at 2 pm, by 4 pm they arrived. The call center were extremely helpful and professional. Alpha Clear went above and beyond their job in my case. I had been having blocked drains for years several times and each time I rang drain cleaning services they merely cleared the blockage, nothing more. One such time I called AlphaClear. They suggested a descale of the drains. I had never heard of that but I was desperate by this point and so agreed to it. It solved the problems and Alphaclear came back to check all was ok twice over 6 months and for no extra charge. They descaled a bit more just to make sure and thankfully my drains seem to be running clear for some months now. I would have no hesitation in recommending them. Super cheerful, on time and understanding too! Thanks so much!
