I was very impressed with with the service provided. I required the disconnection of an obsolete power shower and installation of a thermostatic surface mounted mini shower. I received a quotation for the work quickly after contacting John and this was undertaken shortly after. The removal of the old shower threw up some problems and I was kept informed regarding the necessary work. Despite the problems the work was completed in one morning at the quoted price. The work area was well protected at all times. I will use John's services in the future and have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

I've had a tricky job to fix a escape of water and rerouting multiple pipes including gas which were done incorrectly before. John attended for a free quotation. I was impressed that he could decide on the solution in a few minutes of looking at it which is the evidence of years of experience. He carried out his work for half a day and left with a great work done. He is polite and friendly. Highly recommended.

Bexleyheath boiler replacement + new boiler installation into another room + removal of old radiator in favour of a vertical one. Joe was removing my very old 25+ years boiler from the kitchen that had a massive tank (located in utility room) and installed a new compact combi boiler into the utility room, super happy with the results. Joe is very efficient with his time, very professional and focused to get things done, but will also be attentive to your questions. He plastered the old boiler wall hole, drilled the new one in the utility room wall, did underfloor pipes work to make them straight, since we plan to also place a washing machine into the same utility room, he also removed a massive old radiator from the living room (new radiator is yet to be purchased). Joe also explained about thermostat positioning and he relocated it to a better place away from sun and drafts, he also showed about boiler indicators and parts and external weather sensor and what sounds combi boiler makes. It's a very clever new system. Hot water works, shower pressure on the second floor dramatically increased, kitchen space freed to place a fridge there. Very happy with the results. Really happy with the service provided by Joe. Fitted a shower pump for me, after my old one came to the end of its life cycle. He sourced a replacement for me and altered my piping in order to fit the new one. New pump working well, pumping shower and bath with good water pressure. We were looking for a Plumber to fix our boiler as it stopped working when the temperature started freezing. Joseph was kind enough to come over in the late evening when most of other plumbers were not willing to. He was able to find the issue within minutes and fixed it at no time. Called Steve this morning due to our boiler not working we had no heating or hot water. Steve came out within the hour and diagnosed the fault, collected and installed the part we needed the same day. Amazing service, highly recommend, will use Steve for any problems or new installations in the future

Professional service. The communication from Steve was superb, text to confirm time, then text again to inform us he was on route to our property. On arrival Steve advised he would wear a mask, shoe covers and gloves. Steve was very particular in his service, and informative about points to look out for on the boiler. Once finished Steve cleaned up and left the area he had been working in as he found it. After 7 yrs of hit n miss services, we will make sure to book Steve in for any future work. I cannot recommend highly enough! I used Steve recently for a boiler service and he is meticulous in what he does and his approach with the added bonus of being excellent value for money. Not only this, he goes above and beyond to help, with me having to subsequently call him days after where he took his own time out to talk me through what steps I needed to take. Both excellent at his job and a genuinely good guy.

Have used Romaine's services twice, first to identify an issue with our boiler earlier this year, he managed to identify the issue with ease in less than an hour and recommend we sort it under our existing warranty, and talked it through with me and answered my many questions, second time around he fitted a new radiator for me as our old rad nipple valve snapped off. Both times he's been professional, friendly and knowledgeable whilst being reasonably priced. He is trustworthy, reliable and a problem solver, it's great to find a reliable and personable plumber. Romaine fitted new radiators in both our bedroom and sitting room. He advised on suitability and heat level before we bought them. Romaine reorganised the pipework needed in the two rooms and fitted the radiators. His work was clean and neat and his communication prior and during the work was excellent. Furthermore, the radiators look great! We would highly recommend Allen and Co. Edit - a few weeks ago we lost hot water, Romaine advised us over the phone and quickly solved the issue - no charge - mark of a decent tradesman, not charging for simple fixes.
