Excellent service from MJS plumbing & heating. I had an issue with my LPG boiler. I emailed out of hours, received an appointment time within 2 days. The engineer was on time, polite and friendly. He explained the issue and what he was doing, and got my boiler up and running in minutes! Highly recommended!!

After trying to fix the hot water on my old combi boiler, I was advised I needed a new one, received quote the next day and it was fitted within a week. Had to have a new boiler and we try to use local services and we found MJS Plumber & heater online. We are very happy with Matt, fitting and setting up the boiler very helpful, professional and clean. Took the old boiler and all packaging from the new one away with him. Joe and his guys have provided all of the plumbing, heating and electrical work on our recent extension. This involved a new bathroom and bedroom and quite significant changes elsewhere in the property. They’re clearly knowledgeable and the quality of finish is excellent.

Joe and his colleagues did the electrical work and plumbing on our houses renovation. The electrical work carried out (mainly) by Aaron and his trusty assistant Billy is superb. Aaron is extremely methodical in his approach and it shows with the end result. We also had a mini wet room built. The end result is stunning. The tiling and the tanking beneath the tiling was done to an extremely high standard. The tiler Steve is a lovely chap and again, extremely methodical in his approach. Towards the end of the project the final bits of plumbing were completed by plumber Aaron and John. Again the work was to a high standard and it was a pleasure having them in our home. We would definitely recommend using Joe and his team and we will be next spring for the other bathroom to be renovated. Thanks Joe and team. Andy and Lisa. Also I think it’s wonderful that Joe takes on apprentices, to train the next generation of electricians.

I have been considering creating an en suite shower room and effecting some external works at my property but was somewhat daunted by managing a project. Joe Newton Electrical, Plumbing and Heating Services and James Newsam Construction were recommended by neighbours. Joe and James, who often work in collaboration, came to assess what was required and quote a week after contact. Options were discussed, sensible advice given and a detailed quote and anticipated start date followed shortly thereafter. The Project commenced on the agreed start date with a team of professional, pleasant, experienced, local trades arriving one after the other! all were well-briefed, hard working and consulted me in relation to any decisions (style of doors, placement of switches etc) as necessary. The ethos and importance of "Customer Satisfaction" was obvious throughout. Any queries I had were responded to by Joe or James, usually within the hour. Joe managed the sequence of events entirely for all the electrical and plumbing work, which was completed to a very high standard. I am delighted with my new En Suite Shower Room, it is spacious, practical and stylish and will doubtless add value to my property. I have no hesitation in recommending Joe Newton Electrical, Plumbing and Heating, who I will definitely use again. PS the final Invoice was exactly as quote and I literally could not fault any part of the service I received.

We were very happy with Sam. He helped sort out some issues we had with an en suite bathroom, and he explained to us a lot of things we did not have knowledge of. He is very knowledgeable and he has great communication skills. He was the only one who didn't suggest pulling out all the whole bathroom apart to find out what the issue was. He saved us a good amount of money.

Sam came to our rescue earlier this week when we discovered a leak from our bathroom was staining our kitchen ceiling. His prompt and efficient work ensured the leak was banished, hopefully for good! Ryan came to plumb our washing machine into our newly created utility outbuilding. His work was excellent and he kindly helped us carry the washer out to its new location once he'd finished the plumbing connections and installed a stopcock for the outbuilding. Greenstar fitted a new boiler for us. Jordan was very professional and explained everything, including how to operate the boiler once it had been installed. He was also very tidy and the job was completed in the time indicated. Also had great service from the company beforehand. Blocked foul water drainage pipe cleared.Became blocked again.But due to scale build after camera was inserted had to be descaled. Chris who carried out the ,work (along with an apprentice at one time )was very friendly and informative and also punctual. I would recommend this company and use again.

We contacted Malcolm on Sunday afternoon with a problem concerning water leaking from the rear of a toilet. Malcolm responded to my text very promptly and came to our home very soon after the initial request for help. He quickly diagnosed the fault, and, although he did not have the necessary part, he managed to source it almost immediately. He suggested some improvements to ensure that the problem did not re-occur. He explained very clearly why he was making these recommendations. He fetched the necessary parts and returned very promptly. When the job was complete, he showed us what he had done and explained it to us in lay-man's terms so we could understand. The invoice was professionally produced and, although it was not cheap, the cost was about what we would have expected. (Malcolm had explained the call-out charge and hourly rates before we accepted his help.) We mentioned another problem we had. Malcolm took a look at it, diagnosed the fault and told us he would discover the cost of a part the next day; at 8.40am on Monday he phoned with the price. We have been impressed by Malcolm's professionalism and his care in explaining what is going on. We believe him when he says he wants to do the very best job possible.

Well what can I say, Malcolm was efficient, meticulous, courteous, polite and professional. He kept me fully informed as to when he was able to arrive and in the end arrived ahead of schedule which was brilliant. My old toilet needed to be replaced and Malcolm consulted with me every step of the way before doing anything, so that I was fully aware of the work involved and the potential cost. My old toilet had been installed before the floor tiles had been laid which meant some of the tiles potentially could have cracked as the old toilet base was removed. However Malcolm worked carefully and he successfully removed the toilet base without any tiles cracking. Very impressed! The old toilet base dimensions were unusual but after several phone calls Malcolm managed to source a new toilet which covered the hole left by the old toilet. The new toilet is fitted to such a high standard and looks far better than the one before in both design and quality. It is also fitted correctly on top of the floor tiles. What a huge, huge, huge improvement. I am so pleased to have found a plumber who I can highly recommend and I will definitely be using him again in the future should the need arise. Following a very competitive quotation, in 2017 James and his team installed a brand new central heating boiler and radiator system at my home in Langport. This work was very satisfactorily completed within a week and I have been more than happy with the efficiency of my system and its ease of operation. Following some window work to a bedroom a radiator valve cover went "missing". I contacted Artisan in order to source a replacement and one was posted out free of charge. This week I had a minor issue with air in a couple of radiators and was offered a possible solution in case a visit was not necessary :-) I didn't want to "fiddle" with the boiler so I asked for an engineer to call and the matter was resolved within a couple of days plus he gave clear guidance as to what to do in future. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Artisan both for the work and the after service!

Our job was very small, capping off a leaking pipe from an old defunct heating system still in situ. Artisan came to the rescue and were super efficient, polite, speedy and clean as well as very competently fixing the problem which unfortunately a previous plumber had left us with. We needed new bathroom sink taps and didn't know where to start. Tap advised on retailers, gave us a link to their site which we explored and we found what we wanted. Tap went and bought them, came to our house and fitted them neatly and left absolutely no mess or rubbish behind. It was as if the fairies had been and all within a fortnight of our first enquiry.
