Great company to deal with. The communication from Lisa was prompt friendly and helpful. For some jobs it’s more important to know someone is coming over on the day they are due than to have them right away and it was great not to be leaving hundreds of messages just to get a reply like some plumbers. Oz himself was friendly polite and helpful too and Lisa gave us updates close to the time on when he would come so we could plan our day. The work (change a shower valve in a bar shower and service a combo boiler) was completed quickly and to a good standard from what I can see. The price was very fair. Five stars and I would definitely use them again!

Ozan worked all day without a break to install my new boiler, arriving on time and leaving late after a hard day’s work but not before cleaning up thoroughly after himself. When he went upstairs to check the radiators he even took his shoes off without being asked, which I think says a lot about how he respects a customer’s home. He also explained patiently how the boiler and thermostat work, as well as answering my many questions as he worked. Lisa is great on the admin side, too. I’m very pleased I found this company

Thanks so much to Richard & his team for our recent new boiler installation. Late on Monday evening our 18 year old boiler received Last Rites. I reached out to Pettifer Plumbing to arrange a quote. They quickly provided quotes covering a variety of budget options. Richard also gave us a simple, jargon-free explanation of the benefits of each package There was no pressure from Pettifer Plumbing to make our purchase. That said within 2 hours we had agreed on a package and our brand new, fully functioning boiler was installed WITHIN 24 HOURS! The installation team were very friendly & a credit to company. Arriving promptly, beginning work immediately and being very considerate to keep any household disruption to a minimum. The team completed the install safely, quickly, professionally & left the work site as they found it. All rubbish/waste was removed once they had finished. In addition to being more economical, our new Worcester Bosch boiler has a 10 year parts/labour warranty. This means that we can now cancel our existing boiler breakdown cover which saves us a further £20 per month. We cannot recommend Pettifer Plumbing highly enough. Thank you all so much.

My wet room flooded for an unexpected reason last Saturday and I called Pettifer Plumbing and Heating on Monday morning. The gentleman arrived at an early time and corrected the problem with my drainage pump within 10 minutes. I was extremely impressed and will definitely be using them again.

Modernisation of my Central Heating & Hot Water System. In just two days Richard and team removed my 30 year old Baxi Boiler from a downstairs chimney breast and installed a Worcester Bosch boiler in the upstairs airing cupboard, extending the gas pipe to this new location and connecting up to the original radiators and water pipes. The multitude of new pipework in the restricted space of the airing cupboard was very neatly done. Richard agreed to routing the flue pipe horizontally through the loft to exit through the end wall – requiring working in a rather cramped space. This avoided disturbing my aging slate roof with a roof vent. Their first job was to lay a protective film over the stair carpet, and all the waste from the works was quickly cleared away. All this achieved while working with the additional complication of “School Street” traffic restrictions morning and afternoon. Richard and his team members were very pleasant to work with and were supported by an efficient office team.

We had a complete bathroom installation and fitting, and also new boiler system with fairway. Tyson and his team were fantastic, couldn’t recommend them highly enough for the work they carried out. High standards and great communication within the fairway team which makes the client feel comfortable knowing what is happening while the work is been carried out. Really clean and thorough, they do not cut corners and make sure they are proud of what they do. They also found a little leak which they fixed for us while doing the job which was really appreciated, so they do go above and beyond. Right from the initial meeting with Tyson we knew that they would be a trusted and safe choice to undertake the completion of our en-suite bathroom project. We loved their approach of explaining the stages involved in the completion of the project (e.g. what to expect at first fix and then at second fix and what they needed us to do in terms of ordering products in good time for them to complete each stage) and their commitment to completing works to the highest standard. They also came up with great ideas to enhance our plans and provided solutions to ensure that the end result was as aesthetically pleasing as possible. We had Tyson and his team help us with our home renovation where they completely replaced our boiler system and also installed a wet underfloor heating system on the whole ground floor of our property. From first meeting Tyson we were won over as it was clear that he knew what he was doing and was completely uncompromising on quality.
