Recently booked a last minute boiler service with Nick at N C Plumbing & Heating, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the quality of their work and professionalism from start to finish. From the moment I contacted Nick, received clear communication and accurate costs. Arrived right on time, serviced boiler and looked into another issue for me, showed me what I needed to do going forward for maintenance and, left area clean and tidy.

Boiler install with new flue and associated gas and water pipework. Excellent! My old water heater broke down, and Nick fitted me a combination boiler replacement, relocated in the kitchen. I thoroughly recommend Nick for all and any type of plumbing & heating works. He is clearly an expert in his trade with years of experience, which shines through. All the work undertaken was explained and agreed, the standard of work exceptionally high, results are neat and tidy. Nick works efficiently with the minimum of fuss, clearing up behind himself as he goes along. The price charged was fair and reasonable. Makes me look forward to my annual boiler service next year!

Alan recently provided leak detection services for me including invasive access. The team spent a considerable amount of time both on the phone prior to booking and whilst at the property discussing the issue and to establish potential causes before removing floors. The job investigation was completed faster than expected and most importantly my property was treated with absolute respect, to the point where its hard to tell the reinstated floor was even taken up. Alan even reduced the quote to account for the shorter time on site. He also offered advice regarding dealing with insurers before having the job confirmed. I would have absolutely no hesitating in recommending 1st Porter call based on today experiences and will be using them again for any future requirements. Thanks Alan and team

Comment from the tenants where Neil installed a new boiler for me: "what a nice man. A very clean and efficient job was done on the boiler replacement". A excellent job on budget and done well within the agreed time. Sage advice on replacing the hot water tank, Neil said it wasn't really necessary so we didn't do it and saved a shed load of money.

We have used Neil (PHE Services) for plumbing & electrical jobs around our house and our student properties for quite a number of years now. He is very professional and keeps you informed of what needs doing for a job. I have recommended Neil to a number of friends and I am sure it won't be long before we call him again to fix a problem !

Neil of PHE Plumbing/Heating/Electrical has recently performed some work for me in installing a power shower pump. I have used Neil also on previous occasions. He arrived as promised. His work was all done cleanly, he cleaned up after he had finished and the work he performed was excellent and everything worked again. He is very professional and knowledgeable about his work and explained everything he was going to do. Neil is an excellent plumber and I would have no hesitation in recommending him. On a score of 1-10, he is 10. Highly rate Neil for anything you need doing.

Neil was extremely efficient, clean and tidy with his work, a good sense of humour and a good understanding of the requirements of our home. Would definitely recommend and use him again.

I would highly recommend this business. We struggled to even get others to quote/turn up, but we spoke to Paul and he was so helpful. Basically we had a split shower tray, that tray repairers had told us it was not repairable. Unfortunately for us the tray was tiled in! Paul came and looked, he also spotted that our grout lines had started to crack, and said that there is likely moisture behind as a result. We ended up going backwards and forwards (nightmare customers!!) with added and removing bits from the quote. Paul was very patient, and all of this was done with no quibble. Once we agreed a start date that was quick, Paul and Karl turned up. Paul effectively handed the job over to Karl, but made sure he knew what we had wanted etc. Karl was nice and clearly very competent. My wife only uses trades people that “she gets a good feeling about” and both Karl and Paul passed this test! The shower has been completed to the spec we had agreed.it was quick and is fantastic quality/workmanship. Place was left tidy after, and fantastic communication. You honestly couldn’t ask for more. They made good suggestions along the way,like adding the tray onto a plinth so it doesn’t crack again (or risk cracking), risks of removing and reinstalling the door etc. all billed as agreed with no surprises. I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough, and a bonus they are both family men.

I have used PQ Plumbers Ltd on a number of occasions, from having a cloakroom refitted to most recently, having my bathroom 'future-proofed'. This involved discussing my needs with Paul Queripel, and having the benefit of his trusted advice. His company is the epitome of a professionally run business. I would also add that the skilled plumber who carried out the work was courteous, punctual and respectful.

Paul made an excellent job of refurbishing our bathroom and cloakroom and replacing the kitchen sink. He carried out the work in a very professional, neat, polite and tidy way taking great care with every small detail. Can thoroughly recommend his services.

We have used PQ Plumbers twice now, the first time for a complete bathroom renovation and then to replace our boiler and a couple of radiators. They did such a good job with the bathroom that we didn’t hesitate to go back when we decided to have the boiler done. Both times Paul was very professional, friendly and helpful, going through all the options and discussing what would suit us best. The guys who completed the work were also very professional, tidy and did a great job. We were more than happy to leave a key with them so they could come and go while we were at work. Such a great service! I had a gas pipe moved to accommodate an oven. I submitted a form online for a callback which was swift. The quotation was quick and accurate. The price was reasonable at around £115. Two people carried out the work respectfully and expertly. The invoice was shared shortly after and payment was easy.

Excellent very professional service. We were looking for new plumbers after our previous one retired. We went by the reviews and are glad we chose Gair Gas. We had a new boiler fitted and it all went very well. Both Sams who attended did an excellent job and were very friendly polite and professional. The office staff were also very polite and helpful. As I’m vulnerable the Company very helpfully expedited the works. The added bonus is that they also do electrics etc and we are looking forward to joining the Home Shield cover as it will give us peace of mind.

I've used Gair a few times and have only good things to say. Every person attending has been polite and professional and gone above and beyond to give me advice about the heating and gas systems in my house. The first visit this year was a routine boiler inspection and service as I wasn't sure if I needed a new boiler (just bought an old house), the engineer advised me that although old, the boiler was in good working order, but he could have easily recommended I get a new one - as a different company had - and I'd have been none the wiser! Plus, he spent extra time investigating where an old gas pipe from a gas fire went which I wanted removed. The second visit was the installation of new radiators across the whole house and a hive heating system. The guys did a great job and left me with a wonderfully heated home! Definitely recommend for honest open advice and professional service.

The engineer arrived on time with a courtesy text advising of expected time. They were respectful of my property and were polite. Able to identify the issue and solve it in a timely manner. I have used their services before, They will continue to be my "go to" I cannot recommend them enough.

Quite simply, excellent! Unfortunately I needed a new boiler and fast. LW Gas were quick to answer my request, same day appointment to check if it was needed, then provided me with a realistic quote. The following day they installed it…..bosh! The lads arrived bang on time, cracked on with the work, calmly, politely and frankly, just normal people - rare nowadays! AND, they even tidied up after themselves, cooorrre!!! Genuinely, it’s been a pleasant experience from start to finish and I would highly recommend. Thanks :)

This Company is amazing.I contacted them late yesterday because I had an horrendous water leak that I thought was to do with my heating system but in fact was a plumbing issue. Lewis came out and was so helpful and tried to alleviate further damage by putting holes in the ceiling to ensure it did not collapse on me. Lee and his team are great. They responded quickly to my call when we were without any hot water, and in getting a quote back to us with different options to consider the same day. Installation of the new boiler and removal of the tank went smoothly; the team arrived on time making a quick start on the job itself. I also received a follow up call to make sure all went okay the day afterwards. Very impressed with the service from all involved. Would highly recommend.
