I was looking for a plumber in St Helens for some work on a property of ours - in property we come across many trades who are just the usual hard work , in efficient, unreliable not to mention ridiculous rates… Then we found Rick, he came to site … reviewed the work… gave us a fair rate and then even advised us on how to make further savings when he really didn’t have to. Rick then did a great job and is now our go to plumber for St Helens and our property… Strongly recommend this super nice guy and great fair plumber.

Responded to a post needing help on local pages. Was able to come quickly to fit a new thermostat so I wasn't without heat. Unfortunately boiler had an issue as well so he stayed to fix that for me and prices were very fair for time he was at my house. Would recommend and use again!!

Contacted this company as an emergency as my son has pierced a water pipe sorting some floorboards. Rick was out within an hour or so. He sorted the leak in the pipe and I happened to mention my son had tapped another pipe, central heating pipe, I thought. No, it was gas! He was straight on to repairing that one as well. Worked quickly, tidied up after himself, really nice guy. Totally recommend.

It's so refreshing to find someone who is honest, punctual reasonably priced and communicates with you. Rick has sorted an issue that another plumber massively cocked up on my washing machine connection and so I asked him to come and service my boiler and fit a new gas hob. He and his assistant were very friendly, tidy and did a great job. I will certainly be keeping his number for anything in the future. Thank you!

We wanted a new sink and mixer tap fitted as we were having a kitchen refurb. We were told that the job would be very hard to impossible to do. I contacted Rick for a second opinion he said nothing was impossible. We are so happy we found Holmes plumbing,Rick and Lewis?
