I called this plumbing company when I had an emergency leak. The person I spoke to was friendly and really helpful on the telephone, an engineer arrived within 30 minutes and solved the problem within the hour, which was due to a problem with my upstairs toilet. Reasonable price, very efficient and friendly. They also cleaned up there mess which was a plus as I have had contractors leave there mess behind for myself to clean up. Highly recommend to anyone reading this. I have already recommended to a friend who needed a heating job done.

Eddie was referred to me by a drainage specialist following severe blockages. I contacted him a couple of months later to ask him to replace my kitchen sink and toilet. I am over 70 and he kindly advised me on the items I needed and purchased them on my behalf as I would not be able to drag them into my small flat. On the day he did the work, he and an assistant arrived at 9.30 as promised. There were a couple of complications that required some extra small items. The job was finished by 3.30 despite him having to go out and purchase the items and I was very happy with the end result. I found Eddie to be totally honest, reliable and very knowledgeable, so much so that I have recommended him to my son who owns an Estate Agency in Clapham which Eddie is willing to travel to.

My plumbing leak was started from a softener connection hose then more leaks were found from a series of valves in the early Saturday morning. I turned off the mains, and made a couple of enquiries. Only Eddie from ELR Plumbing quoted and promised me a fixed price to repair the leaks per my request. All the others quoted the call out fees plus hourly rates which you never know the ceiling, especially at the weekend. Eddie came over on time, detected and identified the causes. He worked hard by overcoming the difficulties of access and 3 layers of walls which requires drilling very professionally. Due to the parts issue, he also had to make two return visits to fix them in different days. Eddie was very honest and credit. I observed and knew that the repairing time he spent must have been more than that he estimated, but Eddie kept the promise and had the works done perfectly. I am glad to know Eddie now. I definitely will use him again.

I have to say I think Robbie is one of a kind. True professional and very skilled at what he does. We originally called him for a random problem with our boiler. Inevitably, that problem led to another problem. Robbie wouldn’t leave until he had a solution and even called an electrician to come and get everything up and running again. His pricing is super fair and he knows his stuff … all of this with a smile on his face. Top guy! Five stars from me.

As it would happen my boiler died over the New Year. I was recommended Star Boilers and am very happy. They asked me to email photos and then I spoke to them over the phone and gave me 3 options with different prices. I phoned them for advice and James recommended the cheapest option (WOT). They asked if I wanted a normal thermostat or a Hive one They turned up when they did and the offfice let us know the ETA. Unlike other tradesman they got on with it and it was done in a day they took all the rubbish and hovered up. They went thru the instructions Very happ

It's always a concern when selecting a company online based on Google reviews but choosing Mainheat was a winner. They are a great company to deal with, highly skilled at what they do, offering fantastic advice & service. I ended up having to replace a 20+ year old boiler after an initial service appointment - I was quoted a couple of options as I requested and went for the Vaillant option with the longer warranty. Installation was superb, super efficient and immaculate work - I can recommend this company without hesitation.

I have used Mainheat twice in the last couple of months. The first time they fixed the blockage from shower very efficiently. Today they came back with new starter Matt and the apprentice and managed to stop a leaking tap in good time and good price. We had an aged / failing boiler system which needed replacing along with radiators throughout the property requiring power flushing and we appointed Mr. Byron and team based on their fair / comprehensive proposals but more importantly the sound professional advice they provided during our initial conversation - Mr. Byron was very patient in his explanations, answering my questions and presented options to suit our requirements. Mr. Byron and team were always very punctual, professional, pro-active, provided robust solutions, very accommodating to our aesthetic requirements and coordinated the works very efficiently amongst his team. Excellent joinery work, great finishing and overall very professional workmanship. My family were also present at the time and the team were very considerate to our requirements around the house. Jimmy was absolutely brilliant - he efficiently fixed our boiler issue that other suppliers hadn’t been able to and he returned within the hour of us calling him to check on a fitting. Jimmy is an exceptional plumber, and I highly recommend him. He arrived promptly and completed the work to a very high standard. He installed two new radiators, taking great care to ensure they were level and regularly checking that I was happy with his progress. He was very tidy, cleaning up and even painted around the rawl plugs. After the installation, when he turned the boiler on for the first time since summer, we discovered a leak caused by a builder who had drilled through a pipe in another part of the house. Jimmy quickly found the leak and replaced the damaged pipe at no additional cost. I have never seen someone so thorough when it comes to carrying out a service on my boiler he carried out checks other engineers have never done. Other engineers always seem to be in a rush to get out, good time keeping and communication he made sure he new what boiler I had before his visit, I will be asking for the same engineer on my next service.
