Super company. Came out quickly to a boiler breakdown. Very professional and reliable service from the team. Would highly recommend Ace Gas to anyone.

Used ACE for the first time for a commercial job having been let down elsewhere. Very professional booking process and came when they said they would. All the paperwork I needed (gas safety cert) came through very quickly. Would recommend and use in future.

Having had unfortunate experiences with previous plumbers/gas engineers we were eager not to get it wrong this time when our kitchen ceiling suddenly sprung a leak & we feared it was coming from the bathroom radiator. We were recommended to use Ace Gas & after reading nothing but good in their reviews called them out. Gareth arrived as & when agreed to assess the problem, he was courteous, friendly & professional but could find no obvious cause of the leak immediately. Therefore we agreed to him returning (today) to attempt to locate the problem. He again arrived as & when agreed & set to work immediately removing the bathroom floorboards where he found no evidence of water for over an hour but still persisted until he worked out that the problem was actually originating in the loft & due to a previous plumber not having isolated one of the pipes. He then proceeded to rectify the leak, put back the floorboards & tidy & clean up. His attention to detail, determination to get to the bottom of the problem were second to none & work ethic were second to none. We would most certainly use & recommend highly Ace Gas, infact we have already booked them for our boiler & gas fire 12 monthly service. Mike’s team replaced our boiler in a new location. The team were courteous, efficient, informative and did a great job, despite a number of problems that were encountered due to issues with the standard of the previous boiler and pipe work installation. I’d highly recommend this company.

Contacted Mike as I needed an old and non functioning boiler and cistern taking out and a new combi boiler installed. He arrived the next day to assess the job and talked me through the whole process of removing and installing a new system. I found him to be a very polite, professional and knowledgeable young man. He contacted me after the weekend with a price which I was happy with and then arranged a date for the work to be done. The lads who came to do the install were friendly and very professional. They kept me informed throughout the whole process as to what they were doing and when the work was finished they cleaned up and left it very tidy. The work was done in less than eight hours and the whole process had taken 8 days from initial enquiry to completion. I cannot recommend Mike and his team highly enough and will definitely use their services again. Thanks for a great job guys.

They installed a new boiler for us, the engineer who came was excellent, he did a fantastic job hiding the pipe work which we were worried about. He work really hard to do the job & left everything clean & tidy. I would not hesitate to recommend this company, to family or friends, thanks Mike & his team.

I contacted Mike yesterday as it was almost as if our boiler packed up altogether. I sent over some pictures or what was going on. He came out first thing this morning had a look and knew exactly what was wrong. He is very knowledgeable and polite very easy to talk to! We're just waiting for our new boiler! Very quick and an easy process and affordable to! We wouldn't go to anybody else now!

We are so lucky to have stumbled across this emergency plumbers. I had an issue with a blocked toilet yesterday and they were out in a flash and had it all fixed with no problem at all. I will be calling again if we ever run into a similar issue fingers crossed we do not.

Craig is professional, reliable, friendly, honest and transparent. We've used Craig on more than 3 occasions, most recently to replace our existing boiler. It's hard to come across people in the industry that you really trust, but I can guarantee that Craig is one of the best! He couldn't have done any more to us out. I wholeheartedly recommend Applethwaite Heating.

Had my boiler serviced and other gas appliances checked, and this was all done at the agreed time at a reasonable price. I booked this online, which was easy to use, and I had several date/time options to choose from, so I could pick one to my preference. A confirmation email also followed. Craig and his colleague were both friendly and explained things clearly. I will definitely consider using Applethwaite Heating again, and have saved their details for future jobs.

I have been consistently very happy working with this excellent firm over many years but particularly pleased with Jack Fox today. He had never installed an Inspire Automation Landlord Wireless App Thermostat before and clearly used his expertise with similar systems, many more complicated than Inspire, to efficiently install and commission the product with just one hours Labour time. I can now control my heating and hot water usage from anywhere in the world for my short term guest bookings with a simple boost button for them to use for comfort if still in the property during working hours / weekends!

First time I've used this company and I was very impressed. Told Craig my issue with the boiler and he was round within a few hours, he identified the issues immediately and explained clearly what needed to be done. A small part had to be ordered, after keeping in touch he returned the next day to complete the job to a high standard and a very reasonable price. Had a issue with a blocked drain on Saturday afternoon and after calling Johnathan was told he be there after he had completed his two other pre-booked jobs. He kept me updated on when he would arrive and when he did, he completed the job quickly and professionally. The drain is now clear and working perfectly again. Highly recommended to anyone.

Tyler and Lewis have done an excellent job on installing our downstairs bathroom and radiators. They corrected some previous work done by lesser plumbers. They were helpful with advice and they were tidy, and punctual when working. The quote was reasonable also. We now have a go to plumber for anywork that we need in the future. Proper tradesmen!

This company was recommended by a friend. Absolutely first class. The job was as quoted even though it took longer. Lewis was professional, polite and definitely knew his trade. The issues with our central heating have now been fixed. Absolutely incredible service and lovely people who came. I had never met Jamie or Nick before and they came highly recommended and I now understand why! This Monday at 7 pm we had a changing room flood from the toilet at our voluntary club AOWC which was at the time packed from kids classes . A parent brought Todd from home and tried to sort but couldn’t and so recommended to contact them as he knew them. They came within an hour with lighting and camera equipment etc and tried to help fix it. It was unfortunately a collapsed drain which they showed me on the screen and by Wednesday they had been a fixed it all! Not only that they also did it at a massively reduced rate because they understood we are a voluntary group and so money can be tight! They honestly went above and beyond in helpfulness, honesty, transparency from showing me camera shots and videos to copies of material expenses to just being all round incredibly helpful. Excellent service. Came very quickly to our commercial site. Transparent fees. Spent time helping to dig a trench to redirect the flow of water as well as pumping out as the flow of water was relentless from the adjoining field.
