I chose 777Plumber because of their excellent reviews, the recommendation of a close friend and the fact that they offered a discount for OAPs. I was very impressed and delighted with the plumbing work they carried out on my bathroom yesterday. The plumber (Dan C) arrived well within the promised timescale and fully equipped with the necessary parts – so no ‘sucking of teeth’, ‘sharp intake of breath’ or the ‘need to order in’ special and incredibly expensive parts that sometimes, unfortunately, forms the opening gambit from less scrupulous firms (as I know, to my cost, from previous experiences). Dan was bright, bubbly, infectiously friendly and approachable while also behaving in a fully professional and respectful manner that turned the ‘drama and worries’ for my wife and I into a pleasant experience.
Clearly highly competent and experienced, Dan showed me and explained the defects that he had discovered with my leaking cistern, fully dismantled and re-installed the unit using the new parts that he had brought with him, with the result that the system worked more effectively (and more quietly!) than it had before, even though it had only been installed a few years ago by another firm. His next task was to replace my bath taps, one of which was permanently leaking and the other had become hard to operate – both were unfortunately of the non-repairable type. Finally, he provided valuable advice on the cause of irregular and intermittent wetness on the cold-water input pipe for our hot water tank – this worrying event was in fact simply condensation caused by our reduced use of the central heating system to compensate for our loss of the OAP heating allowance!
All these tasks were skilfully completed in an hour at a fair cost so 777Plumber are now my ‘go to’ firm and I can confidently recommend them to everybody.

We were so impressed with 777Plumber. The person who took our initial call was Lianne and she was a big part of why we chose to go with this company and not one of several others we had called. Not only did she call us back immediately, she was also knowledgeable, reassuring and clear about everything. It was an emergency - a water leak through the ceiling at 9am on a Saturday morning - and she told us a plumber would be with us within the hour and he was. Mike arrived, smiling, polite and considerate, wearing the company’s uniform, and got straight to work. He identified the issue with the leak from our immersion heater right away and assured us he’d fix it within the hour’s call out fee - and he did. No mess, a full, clear explanation, suggestions for how to check the issue won’t recur, friendly chat about the work as well as a bit of good humour, he was absolutely lovely, clearly experienced and very good at his job. We will 100% use 777Plumber again (and will ask for Mike) - for both plumbing and electrical work, both in an emergency and for regular jobs. Thank you so much, Lianne and Mike.
