I had APS Plumbing out yesterday to supply and fit a water tank etc in my new dog grooming salon. Steve who carried out the work is one of the nicest and friendliest guys I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. So polite and wow did he know his stuff. He was here for most of the day. I supplied him with plenty of tea and he just kept going!! I'm so chuffed its all done and certainly looks the part. It is so straightforward to use too!! So a massive thanks to Steve for fitting all the equipment and a massive thanks to APS Plumbing for taking on the job from a really happy customer. 5 stars and more if I could!!!!

APS Plumbing in Thatcham have restored my faith in plumbers! I had a faulty stop-tap and a leak going into the cold water tank in my loft. I had 4 other plumbers let me down / not return my calls or texts. APS were amazing from my initial contact with their booking team all the way through to completion of the work. We called APS for a fault on our gas heating system in our industrial unit in Newbury. Best call I ever made after being let down by several other local companies in the area. From the lovely lady in the office who booked me in to the engineer that attended site I really couldn’t fault them at all! So refreshing and I will most definitely be using them, not only at work but at home as well.

Highly recommend this company. They sent a team out to fix our immersion leak within an hour and a half of phoning, did a great job, and were cheaper than the British Gas quote we’d had.

Outstanding customer service. Murray came and did the initial visit, explained options clearly, very professional. Louise is amazing, organised and friendly, very easy to talk to. Adam, who did the work, was friendly, clean, polite and communicated clearly.

We had spoke to Louise Ryder and booked in the over the phone - Very professional and courteous. They were very flexible and arranged a time that suited us. We were informed that the guys coming round would start at 08:00 in the morning and they turned up precisely on time. We had Adam and George carry out the work. They too were very professional, communicated clearly the work they were doing and were incredibly efficient. I was very pleased with the radiator that they fitted and would definitely use the company again.

Clive from Job Done services came to sort out hot water at our rented home on new year's eve when almost nobody else was working (tried calling about 30-odd other people on CheckATrade). Great service overall. Gave me a 1-hour time slot. Arrived earlier than stated time, but texted to let me know he was free earlier than expected. On arrival, got right to work quite literally. Popped out to get new parts, and eventually sorted out the job in just under 2 hours. There were some other issues which Clive gave some advice on to try and get fixed through letting agent. Overall happy and would recommend.

Had Simon do some work for my building maintenance company. We and my customers were very happy with the work he did. Very professional and diligent and even revisited a customer’s site on his own time to check on the works he had carried out. One customer remarked that he’d never met anyone who was as passionate and enjoyed his work so much. Consider him a real credit to my company.

Let me start by saying Simon is the most professional , reliable and knowledgeable tradesman I have ever encountered. I have been a landlady for some time now and being a woman in a male dominated profession comes with its challenges. That said Simon has always been professional and fair in his pricing. He is easily contactable post jobs being completed and is respectful to tenants. I have worked with Leak Detection Soultions on numerous occasions even referring them to other landlords and have always had a top tier experience and service. I would highly recommend using their services. I don’t tend to write reviews but to gatekeep this service would be criminal.

I own an investment flat in Reading in an old building. For some years my agent had employed a series of contractors to "fix" the problem but it kept coming back. So I decided to take it on myself and I found Simon through Google. I will be honest and say that initially I found his quote a bit expensive and had some doubts but after talking the problem through I became confident that here was a guy who knew his business. So I gave him the go ahead and I am so happy that I did. Simon is an amazing professional who does what says and says what he does, fast and with fantastic communication. He proved to be a master of tact whilst coordinating with my tenant and the guy in the flat below into whose bedroom my shower was leaking. But there is something more which is a rare quality in 2024 and I want emphasise it: Simon had a strong sense of duty and commitment to me, his customer, which from reading other reviews is his usual way. You feel completely supported both during and after the job which saves much anxiety. And this sounds over the top so be it but you would have to look hard to find a better guy.

Rory and Dave recently fitted a new boiler and bathroom towel radiator in my home. From my first meeting with Rory, I was impressed with these guys. I’d lost confidence in my previous plumber so took a chance on Options. Let’s be honest - no one wants to spend a lot of money on a new boiler unexpectedly but Rory and Dave made the experience less painful! They are very knowledgeable, have a great relationship and despite the singing of Christmas songs ( only joking Dave ! 🎄), it was a pleasure to have them both in my home for a couple of days. I’d definitely recommend Options and without doubt, I’ll use them again in the future.

Had a boiler fault, managed to fit in same day, quickly fix the fault and do boiler service at the same time! Dave was very polite, respectful of our home and did a great job.

Absolutely Brilliant work from these guys. Thought we'd do an in depth review of their work as really warranted it. We'd been having issues with our central heating and boiler 'kettling" since early December with the rads getting less and less hot as well as limited hot water. To the extent we had virtually no heating downstairs and low/medium heat upstairs.Meaning we were reliant on a oil radiator in the lounge and blower heaters. Expensive and not ideal. We have 14 rads and maybe 6 got warm. Spoken to a number of plumbers previously and a Powerflush had been recommended. However, no one seemed to want to commit to doing the work as the house had also microbore pipework. I filled in the PlumJax website enquiry and Jacques called later on that day. After explaining the issues and chatting he recommended a chemical treatment and Powerflush. Jacques was then able to quote and we decided to go ahead and book PlumbJax in for the work. We were told we may also need new pump as well so the quote was subject to some potential additional costs. On the day we had a Jacques and Tyrone both working at the house. Both very pleasant and courteous and got to work draining the system to add their industrial magnetic filter, before refilling the system and putting the flush in. Unfortunately our pump was knackered so required replacement and a few alterations to the system to get it refilled and the air out. Once refilled and sorted we watched all the black water and sludge containing metal bits circulate into the metal filter and stay there. Tyrone then went round and "vibrated" all the radiators to get the sludge to move around the system and into the filter. This took quite a long time so plenty of time for tea, coffee and bacon sandwiches! The system was then drained and refilled, our own filter was fitted then the system above the boiler, then fully balanced and inhibitor put in. The difference is like Night and Day. The house is now as hot as we want it, the hot water is amazing and the boiler is quiet! So to sum up, yes, things came in a little bit more expensive but we were warned this might be the case, the original pump was the same age as the system, so from 1999 and its time was up and some additional reworking of the pipes was required but all very reasonably priced. We would 100% recommend and will do to friends and family as finding a reliable, trustworthy plumber is like Mission Impossible. So, if you've got this far and still in doubt, don't be. Fill in the form or give them a call!!

My boiler had a breakdown today. Luckily I got the contact of PlumJax and sorted out the issue soon. Very good service and good monthly plan as well.

From a basic plumbing request came the question do you do bathrooms. Fortunately the answer was yes and what a fantastic job they have done. Absolutely amazing final solution with great subcontractors for the plastering and tiling. Products supplied by Easy Bathrooms. Highly recommended.

Unreserved recommendation for Neil of N D Plumbing Services. Excellent work, a thoughtful approach, did everything he could to keep it as simple and inexpensive as he could. Genuinely couldn't be happier. He's a nice guy too.

Macca came out to sort out a loud noise that was coming from upstairs. I was notified by text of timings. He was such a polite young man and knew what he was doing. He didn’t take any shortcuts and even though it was 5pm he kept working until the job was finished. 100% recommend this company. Macca is a credit to your company.
