Gavin installed a beautiful new bathroom in our new place as we were so happy with the work he did at our last place. Once again he’s done an amazing job and we are over the moon with the result. Great value for money, professional, trustworthy; we can’t recommend him highly enough.

We've used Gavin on 2 previous occasions to repair some issues, and this time to install new taps. Every job has been completed swiftly and to an exceptionally high standard at very reasonable cost. He's friendly and responsive, and I wouldn't hesitate to use again in future. Highly recommended.

I had new washing machine delivered but was unable to be installed as pipework connection needed to be upgraded. I contacted Gavin who arrived within 24 hours.He fitted a new part and took the time to install the machine and test it worked ok.He also successfully resolved a minor issue with dripping kitchen tap. Excellent communications and he came across as helpful, polite and friendly.

Paul has done amazing. We've not had proper hot water and no heating for years. We've gone from a combi to a heated water tank which is better for us. And moved the system into the loft. You wouldn't even know they have been. Very clean and tidy. Great communication and help with the thermostat also. Thanks paul. Would recommend 1000% all the way.

Paul was great. Came out on a very wet New Years eve and sorted an issue with our under floor heating so we got heating and hot water back. Very friendly, efficient and professional, would definitely recommend!

We had a very bad experience in relation to replacing our bathroom. The builder that we hired at that time had done a very cheap and messy job and because of him we have to suffer through with a leak in our bathroom that spread to the neighbours house. At the height of the cold snap on Saturday morning my boiler, about 20 years old, broke down. Paul came out in the afternoon and made a temporary fix. I decided it was time to have a new boiler. Paul and his son Will managed to do this on Thursday. Paul was absolutely wonderful! He came and fitted a new boiler for us a few months ago after ours broke. Couldn't wish for a nicer person. I highly recommend. The price was reasonable especially considering he had an obstacle course every time he went in and out due to the boiler being in our actic and not very accessible at all. I would highly recommend. I had been having trouble finding replacement bath taps with an old style fitting. James went the extra mile and managed to find replacements and fit them where other plumbers hadn't.

Had an emergency leak under the floor boards meaning water was coming through the front room ceiling. Called IGS Plumbing who came within 25 minutes and mangled to fix the problem with ease. Answered all questions and made sure everything was ok before they left. Price was also extremely reasonable. Happy with the service provided and will definitely use again. Came across A Mellor out of necessity when my boiler broke on Xmas day in 2020. They replaced radiators and my boiler quickly and for a reasonable price. They've been servicing my boiler every year since and have always been friendly, knowledgeable, flexible, and great at communicating.. Couldn't be happier with the service.

They are an honest hard-working family business. When we had problems with our newly installed electric boiler due to a manufacturing error, mellor pulled out all the stops to make sure they did whatever they could to help us out in a very difficult situation. Rest assured whatever job you get done by them big or small the job will be done to the best standard possible in the end and they did not ask us to pay the installation fee until we had a working boiler! We contacted the company on Monday, and by Wednesday we had a new boiler. Excellent, efficient and value for money service. All staff were polite and did exactly what they said they would do, all turning up at the promised time. Office staff are very helpful and efficient.
