These guys were great. Needed a new boiler urgently as the old one had completely blown and we have young kids in the house. They came out really quickly and bent over backwards and staying late to get a new one installed and working the next day. Really reasonably priced, really nice guys, really appreciated their help and hard work. Would highly recommend.

Very speedy, friendly and professional service. Came out to have a look at my leaking boiler within 24 hours of first contact, and when it was deemed my old boiler was past the point of saving (though they did try), I was able to have a new boiler fitted within a couple of days. Great work, very efficient, much better boiler, over and above service. Price was excellent on all fronts and generally a pleasure to deal with in a situation that is usually unwanted. Would highly recommend.

We needed a new gas hub to be fitted on the same day. A trusted builder recommended Rapid heating. To our delight, they sent the gas safe engineers later in the afternoon on the same day. The hob was fitted to a high standard, tested and they even cleaned up afterwards. I can highly recommend this organisation.

Mike and his team did a great job fitting a brand new boiler in our house. Communication was great and the team were all super professional. I could tell he was very experienced by the direction and information he was giving to his team. Mike made sure all the TRVs were in the best location, the wooden box panels surrounding the boiler were cut in the most aesthetic way, and ensured that I had full understanding of the controls and boiler app before they left. Very efficient, quality workmanship and £700 cheaper than those clowns at British Gas. I would definitely recommend, and shall certainly be contacting them for any future plumbing issues.

I had an issue with my boiler not igniting. I phoned this company. He talked me through the fault and he established the problem. All sorted within a few minutes. He could have come out and charged me for his time but he didn't. Very professional and very honest. I would have no hesitation on using their services again.

First class job from Mike and his team, I would not hesitate to recommend them. We were looking to change a 25 year old boiler to a more efficient model. I had quotes from a few companies and whilst Mike's was competitive, price alone was not the reason for choosing him to complete the work. Mike initially came out and talked me through the various options in detail, his knowledge of the latest models on the market was obvious, as was the professional way he came across - unlike one of the other companies I got to quote. Mike is involved in the installation personally, his hands on approach gives you confidence in the answers to any questions you raise - rather than sending a 'salesman' who are unable to answer all your queries truthfully. On installation day, Mike and his team of 3 others arrived nice and early. There was a fair amount of work involved, altering pipework, removing hot water cylinder, loft tanks etc. The 4 of them worked tirelessly all day (fuelled by many cups of tea / coffee!). One thing that stood out for me during the installation was the time he took to make sure the younger members of his team fully understood, asking their opinions, all part of an experienced guy wanting to pass that knowledge on.

Excellent service from Mike and his team. Quality work easily arranged from having a new boiler fitted to getting an annual service arranged and completed. Mike will always tell you how it is and run through all the options, not just try and flog you the work that costs the most. A highly reputable company who you can trust to look out for the customers interests. Annual reminders for boiler service as well which are very useful so it’s one less thing to keep track of!!!

LW Plumbing quoted for and undertook a complete renewal of our central heating and hot water system. It was a much larger job than had been indicated by other suppliers we contacted but, as they only quoted after a phone conversation we decided to proceed with a local company. The work was started promptly, every member of the large team was knowledgable, professional and friendly and worked hard. In the interests of a balanced review I would I highlight three issues: (i) Lee failed to note that one of our showers had to be replaced in order to work with the new system. The cost of the replacement was however discounted. (ii) Holes made in the plaster ceiling of a cupboard through which pipework was routed were not made good and the plaster not tidied up from the cupboard. (iii) Air continues to collect in the 'sealed' system and the pressure needs to be topped up. A follow up visit to look at this failed to resolve the issue. Hopefully it will be reviewed again and resolved during the annual maintenance visit. With the exception of the above we were generally very happy with the work and the new system is a marked improvement on what we had. It's nice to be able to use a local company and we would certainly recommend them.

I would highly recommend Joe to anyone looking for an excellent plumber. He came as fast as he could in an emergency situation and managed to fix our leaking pipe despite the challenges. He went above and beyond to help us out and provided assistance in contacting our water provider to turn the main water source off. Even though they were not able to do it due to some damaged and old parts that need replacing. He was still able to efficiently complete his repairs in our bathroom and get our water up and running.

We asked Quarrybank to quote for a boiler replacement in a Victorian townhouse - quite a fiddly job. The two other plumbers we asked to quote didn't even bother replying after they visited. However Quarrybank's quote seemed good value, and we were delighted with their approach to the job and the quality of their work. The job was more complicated than they'd anticipated, and their suppliers caused them problems [they should have had a cherry picker to access our roof - but the rental firm cancelled on them without notice] - but they worked-around it all, keeping to schedule and minimising domestic disruption. They were tidy, stayed late to keep on schedule, and cheerful and pleasant. We'd like to particularly thank Lee and Tom for their excellent work - Dave, Josh and Martin also deserve a mention for hteir contributions. I'd have no hesistation is recommending Qarrybank - I'm pleased the others failed to compete! Quarrybank are a professional outfit who do what you'd hope, without breaking the bank.

Fantastic work as usual. I’ve had a new 6’ cast iron radiator put in today. Matt recommended one that would look good and easily heat the room. Lovely job! He knew it would look great even when I wasn’t sure; but I trusted him implicitly. He really knows his trade, works hard and is polite and friendly. I was given a fixed price for parts and labour. Even though it took longer to resolve an issue with the replaced thermostat the price was fixed as per the quote. Friendly service, highly recommended.
